Gloria’s Circle

(The service was conducted by Betty following a Native American theme.
She opened with candle lighting for each cardinal direction and the animals and
vibrations each represented. Smudging followed as the smoking abalone shell was passed
around, this to clear selves for the learning to follow, setting aside of cares.)
KEY LITANY:
Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the Earth.
The meek are not those who are lacking in courage or self respect
or those who are hypocrites. Our greatest responsibility is to be who we are.
They are not those who are mean of effort or thought, or lacking
in ambition or desire. Our greatest responsibility is to speak who we are.
Rather the meek are those who entertain a willingness to follow
the Divine Will and guidance. I am perfectly who I need to be right now.
The Earth is that portion of your circumstances which you create
for yourself, and over which you must retain and maintain
dominion. You are perfectly who you need to be right now.
As you remain porous to the guidance given you, you develop new
ways of thinking and new ways of dealing and perspectives, and new
ways of believing and acting in your own environment. In the beginning was the
Word. And the Word was with God. And the Word was God.
When you were taught about being "poor in spirit", that was
talking about attributes of character and personality. Walk and talk. It is my
responsibility to walk my talk, to speak my truth.
When this is taught about being meek, it is speaking of your
actions and your behavior patterns that you develop in early
childhood and before, and thus inherit the Earth. The Earth, the world, becomes what I
believe it is. I create my own reality.
In other words, have complete dominion over your own life. I painted a picture of
myself that I thought would bring love and acceptance.
Gentleness. The hidden meaning here is that gentleness wins all. As I allow you to be
who you are, I can allow myself to be truly who I am. I am.
The more force one puts into his effort, the more force he finds
opposing him. I release the false picture that I painted of myself.
When one finds himself struggling, he also finds that he is
actually fighting himself, for he has established his own
obstacles. The buzzard flies over the desert and sees dead carcasses. I release Keys, to
Cosmic Consciousness
the warrior image of the Piscean Age.
If life is treated gently, it returns all it has to give. I embrace the nurturing wise
woman of the Age of Affection, the Age of Aquarius.

GLORIA: Thank you Betty. That was lovely; it really puts us in tune. What
never ceases to amaze me is how I am completely out of contact with most of you
between meetings, and yet when I asked the Teachers what they are going to talk about,
they tell me the specific thing that is to be brought to the floor today. I have not talked to
Betty since the last time we met, and she did not tell me then what she was going to do.
But what the Teachers talked to me about last night and this morning was about Will.
Will
There are a number of things that I need to share with you from a personal
level -- things that have been brought to me during the last month. I think the last time
we were together I told you about some of the things that had been given to me in
Redding and on the trip home, and how short I felt the time to be. And now I know that
time is shorter than ever. As I traveled up the highway coming home last October l9, I
asked Source if I am to be somewhere else within a year, how is that to transpire? Where
am I to go at this point in time? I have no where to go. And they said, "Within a month
you will see". And within a week or ten days, my friend Sue Robinson of whom I have
spoken before, called me to say that her brother had sent her the tax rolls from Douglas
County, I think.
There is a 98 (acre) piece of land up near Winthrop that is on the tax rolls.
She and her husband went to see the woman who owns it. The property had been owned
by a '50s to '60s hippy person who ultimately sold off pieces -- he had quite a lot of
property -- sold off pieces to support himself. There are some buildings on the property.
And close by there is another piece of land that belongs to his daughter. This piece also
belongs to his daughter by inheritance - - when he died, she would have become liable for
the taxes on it. She also owns some property in Seattle. She has not paid the taxes on
any of this property. So, as a matter of ethics, Sue and her husband went to visit with her,
because they didn't feel that they wanted to "steal for taxes" this piece of property without
seeing what the ethic of it was.
The woman lives in absolute poverty, by choice. Anyway, their estimate of
the situation is that there is no ethical consideration here. The woman wants $350,000
for all of her properties including the 98+ acres, which is totally unrealistic even at
today's inflated prices. So they have resolved within themselves that it is
ethical for them to go to the auction Dec. 5 and make a bid on this piece of property. Of
course when you buy property at auction, you have to have the cash in your pocket --
there's not take it now and pay later. So when you make a bid, you've got to be prepared
to pay the cash to the government right then. So they are prepared to pay $40,000 for this
98 acres. If they get it, fine; if they don't, it's not meant to be. But when she called me, I
immediately had this feeling of possession, like this was what Source was talking about.
Of course, that could be wishful thinking on the part of Gloria -- I don't know.
I had thought that I would be able to go see the piece of property. But the
weekend that we had the clear weather when I was going to go and explore, I was unable
to get away. I chose to give in to my Mother's demands of the time. The following
weekend when I again thought I would go, and Sue was going to meet me at Ellensberg
to go and look at the property together, and I was also going to look at another piece of
property that she and her husband already own. But I came down with a flu bug on
Thursday, and I was out for the count. So, I didn't get to see the property, except that Sue
and I are so psychically linked that we see through each other's eyes. So I thought it was
very significant that it was she who called me that this piece of property that I had not
known about before -- and that was what I said to Source, "I have no place to go". And
Source said, "You will know within a month." So, I'm sort of expecting they will get that
98 acres. You will hear more about that as it transpires. We have to wait for the auction
on the 5th of December.
I have been strongly pushed to put together all in one place the emergency
articles that I talked to you about last month. I did get the copiers moved, so the space is
there. So I'm moving along. I think that we need to pay attention to the weather patterns.
The tremendous storm that we had yesterday on the Oregon and Washington coast, the
tornado that hit Vancouver a few days ago. We are beginning to see things that the
Teachers told us about in 1988. If you will go back and look at the early 100's of our
transcripts , 99-103, you're going to see some of what we were told about things that were
going to happen. And I think that they are beginning to happen. I feel time speeding up,
so to speak. Time is getting very, very short.
I may have only another year with you at the most. Presumably, if the time-
table that Source has given me manifests as it is in construct now, and some other will or
some other consciousness doesn't come into play, I will be transporting all the goods
from where I live now to where I will be for the following two years, sometime during
the next 12 months. During this coming year, I don't expect Mother to live through the
winter, although right now she is in great shape -- there is not a thing wrong with her.
But for things to transpire as Source has told me, that's one of the pieces of the puzzle.
And Mom herself has been giving me indications that she expects to have this flu and that
it will kill her. So, if that's her expectation, then that's probably going to happen.
I have been given my own timetable, which is not germane to your
knowledge or experience, except to say that we may only have this year to finish the
Wheel of Karma. What happens after that I have no way of telling you. I have a very
strong feeling that this is the last Christmas that we will all be together. I think that was
at the basis of my strong, urgent feeling that we needed to celebrate this Christmas. We
need very much to have a Christmas party in December. Then of course, we'll go on to
our January Sunday schedule on the last Sunday of the month meeting. But I think that
our December party should be an evening party where we bring spouses, friends,
whoever we wish. But it needs to be a joining; it needs to be a coming together, a
celebration.
Soap, ecology
Furthermore, I thought it was very interesting that this little magazine came
to me -- I don't remember where it came from. But it has a 1991 soap survey. It talks
about the ecology of the soap that we now have. Remember how the Teachers told us
that the soap that we're buying now is counterproductive to us ecologically and
spiritually. And this has it all laid out scientifically for us -- all of the degreasers and
everything that's in soap today.
There was a news item on TV recently about a barter system using plastic
cards. If you are a shop owner, you join the club, and you say, for example, "I will give
$700 worth of my services." And then you have a debit card for $700 worth of
somebody else's services. So it is not a direct barter one-to-one, but is through this big
club. More and more we are seeing what the Teachers told us. Our thing to barter is
soap. This article is available to whoever is going to take on the soap making.
Apparently I am not going to be involved in the soap directly.
Barter system
One of the things that sort of appalls me is that I look at this 64 year-old
body and all of its worn parts, and I think about living out in the wilderness and chopping
my own wood, and I'm not real sure that I can do that. But I'm sure I will be taken care
of.
One of the things about this 98 acres is that it has electricity, lots of water --
hot springs as well as cold springs. And there are all kinds of little "hippy" properties
around back in the woods where people have built their little hand-made cabins on pieces
this man sold off. It's 5 miles from Winthrop in NE Washington, up in the Okanogan
Valley, north of Ellensberg. Down in the Valley, things are getting pretty bad with
transients -- a lot of crime. But this property is isolated.
When I asked the Teachers to make me aware of the lesson for today, they
told me that it was time for us to get busy on completing the Wheel of Karma. They gave
me some interesting insight into what they had given before. Now, for your reference,
you can read transcripts #103-105, around in there. At that time, I think that all of the
properties of the Wheel had been given, and Sheariam was beginning to elaborate. At
one point the statement was made that the Wheel is not truly a wheel and is not truly a
spiral, and it is something of both and some of neither. I asked for some clarity on that,
and this is what I got.
Karma, Wheel of; Wheel of Karma; Matter; Life; Environment; Knowledge
The first platform they gave was MATTER, LIFE, ENVIRONMENT, and
KNOWLEDGE. And they explained very clearly how inert matter is enlivened by
SPIRIT and begins to build its ENVIRONMENT, and Spirit interacts with the
ENVIRONMENT, through which action KNOWLEDGE IS GAINED. (a little difficulty
with chest congestion) And in the transcript that I was reading, I noticed in the
description of MATTER becoming enlivened and creating ENVIRONMENT, there is a
sentence in there that needs to be changed.It says something about LIFE "unknown",
and it should be "unknowing". As SPIRIT enlivens MATTER, and LIFE becomes
viable, LIFE is unknowing. It doesn't become "knowing", you see, until it builds an
ENVIRONMENT and interacts with it, and KNOWLEDGE is formed.
Environment; Knowledge, gained by action; Life, unknowing
As they gave us, early LIFE on this planet was FIRE, it was the fire planet.
And the beings on the planet were fire. That is unknowing -- fire just combusts. Out of
combustion, gasses arise, so then AIR BODIES are evolved. AIR BODIES are still
unknowing, but FIRE and AIR together begin to build an ENVIRONMENT. And then
the ENVIRONMENT that FIRE and AIR create then is WATER -- that's our distillation
process. If we applied the proper temperatures to air, we can extract the water. Then out
of WATER comes EARTH. These are all (spontaneous actions).
Fire planet; Earth, a fire planet; Knowledge, experiential
Then as ENLIVENED MATTER interacts with its ENVIRONMENT, it
gains experiential knowledge. And if we relate that to ourselves as human beings, that's
the first thing we know -- our interaction in the womb with our mother, with just the earth
body of our mother is the first interaction we have. Observed knowledge doesn't come
until we can separate ourselves from that, until we can get out of EARTH back into
WATER, so to speak, so that we develop an objectivity. Then we can observe, and then
we can begin to observe ourselves. As we experience and observe, we theorize. We
draw conclusions. We suppose this is true or that or something else is true. That is
theoretical knowledge. As experience transpires, and observation is made, and theory is
proven or disproven, empirical knowledges are built -- empirical data banks, if you will,
are built.
Life, in the womb; Knowledge, observed; Water, symbolic; Knowledge, theoretical;
Knowledge, empirical
From that point then, we can go back to the beginning of the WHEEL. We
can make it a flat wheel and just keep going around from MATTER to LIFE to
ENVIRONMENT to KNOWLEDGE and back to MATTER again. And that continues to
occur, but during that time, as the RATIO OF VOLITION TO CONSCIOUSNESS is
increased through knowledge, we can make the leap from KNOWLEDGE to DESIRE.
That's why science so far has not been able to find the "missing link", because HUMANS
have DESIRE BODIES. The earth bodies represent the consciousnesses that are capable
of volitionally increasing their own VOLITION. Humans at this time in our experience
are the only ones that we can see that can do that. We know that animals' VOLITION
can be increased through the encouragement of HUMANS. We encourage our animals,
we domesticate them, we teach them manners and mores and cooperation and that sort of
thing. Those are leaps in VOLITION. As we teach our animals to do that, we are
increasing the RATIO OF VOLITION TO CONSCIOUSNESS of all Earth planet life.
Karma, Wheel of; Wheel of Karma; Wheel of Karma, flat; Matter; Life;
Environment; Knowledge; Volition, Consciousness ratio to; Consciousness, Volition
ratio to; Desire Bodies, humans and; Volition, animals and; Knowledge,
remembered; Knowledge, learned; Knowledge, inspired; Knowledge, fabricated;
Desire Body, developed around Rod; Rod, Desire Body developed around
Now we have made that leap through remembered, learned, inspired, and
fabricated knowledge. We have chosen not to stay in just the empirical-observed-
theoretical, etc. We have made the leap through the objective observation of our own
knowledge. We have developed a DESIRE BODY around the ROD. We're not
operating just on that fire body; we're not operating just on an air body, or just on a water
body, or just on an earth body. We can now see where we are comprised of all of these
bodies, some more recessive than others. And what we are after now is to start bringing
back the recessive bodies. We want to begin to have the EARTH BODY recede, and to
move back into the EMOTIONAL BODY, and to bring forward the AIR BODY, and
finally the FIRE BODY. Do you understand what I'm saying?
Fire Body; Body, Fire; Air Body; Body, Air; Body, water; Water Body; Earth Body;
Body, Earth; Emotional Body; Body, Emotional
In fundamental Christianity, what was destroyed? It was the body of Jesus
that was destroyed -- not the body of Christ. So that is their way of teaching this same
thing -- that we are to overcome the EARTH BODY and move back to the FIRE BODY.
Because what is the Christ? The Christ is the anointed I AM. It is the eternal flame.
Body of Christ, not destroyed; Body of Jesus, destroyed; Christ, the; I Am; Desire
Body; Emotional Body; Mental Body
OK, so we have made that leap to where we built a DESIRE BODY, and we
do have an EMOTIONAL BODY and a MENTAL BODY. We have all become
acquainted with the fact they exist, but we don't live in them. We don't live in JOY. We
don't live our moment-by-moment existence as we should. We don't live in the now. We
live in the past or the future. So you see, we are still in that experiential knowledge
situation -- that's the past. If we remember what happened yesterday, and it hurt, then we
don't want to try it again tomorrow. But how about right today? What are we doing
today.
So this is where WILL comes in -- KNOWLEDGE, WILL, and
SPECIALIZATION. We can make the leap from KNOWLEDGE to DESIRE, to the
SECOND PLATFORM, and we can go around and around and around on DESIRE,
INSTINCT, PURPOSE, and WILL, and that's where humans are right now.
Will; Knowledge; Specialization; Desire; Second platform; Instinct; Purpose
What we need to do is to make the leap from WILL to MOTIVATION. And
where did we get a stumbling block in our Karmic Wheel when we tried to put it on
paper? We couldn't seem to grasp what the Teachers gave us on MOTIVATION,
because we haven't made the leap. We haven't built that body. We haven't lived in that
body. We have an endowed body --remember they told us in the INVOLUTIONAL
SPIRAL that the MENTAL BODY is endowed, the SPIRITUAL BODY is endowed.
But we haven't built that yet for ourselves.We're living in what is endowed, not in what
we have created.
Motivation; Endowed body; Involutional spiral Spiritual Body; Body, spiritual;
Body, Mental
OK, as you ladies paint and you are expressing those creative energies, you are
building those bodies, you are beginning to make that leap. You are applying WILL of a
different nature. We live in the SELF WILL; we live in the EARTH WILL, and some
people live in the EGO WILL. And some people live in the SOUL WILL, like our
TEACHERS. But how many of us can even begin to touch DIVINE WILL?
Will, Self; Self will; Earth Will; Will, Earth; Will, Ego; Ego Will; Soul Will; Will,
Soul; Will, Divine; Divine Will
So as we grasp, as we reach up, as we extend ourselves, as we act creatively, as
we express ourselves creatively, we are making that leap from WILL to MOTIVATION
instead of just going around and around on the wheel of DESIRE, INSTINCT,
PURPOSE, and WILL and back again. So you want to ask yourself when you are SELF
PROCESSING -- and she talks a lot about that in that series from about #99 through
around #120. We're given a lot about SELF PROCESSING in that, and that's when we
were given the task to decide what it was that we WANT, not what we NEED.
Creativity; Motivation; Desire; Instinct; Purpose; Self Processing; Processing, Self;
Want
And remember at the INSTINCTUAL LEVEL we NEED IDENTITY, SPACE, UNION,
and STATUS. And that, Vivian, is where you run into the fear in your painting class,
because of that instinctual need for status. If you give that up, and you just say, "I'm
painting my joy on this canvas, and it doesn't matter what it looks like to anyone else",
you are creating your SPIRITUAL BODY. You are making the leap from WILL to
MOTIVATION. And I think it is interesting that the two ladies who have not yet met
Enid, or been adopted by Enid or whatever the process is, are the ones who are going
through this SELF PROCESSING right now. Because your initiation is coming out.
Need; Instinctual Level; Identity; Space; Needs; Union; Status; Spiritual Body,
creating your; Self Processing; Processing, Self; Initiation, steps to
I really got carried away on that one, didn't I. Well, that's the way channeling
happens. I get to rolling along, and then it just begins to come and come and come.
Inspired thought which makes the leap from KNOWLEDGE to DESIRE.
Force; Will, Self; Self Will; Desire; Soul Will; Will, Soul Will, Divine; Divine Will;
Motivation; Evolution, Wheel of Karma and
So then Silverthistle gave us all this information way back when. We did not
in any way respect or appreciate the information that was being given to us -- we had
very little knowledge, we had no empirical knowledge with which to evaluate what was
being given to us. It's only the empirical knowledge that we have gained over the period
of 9 years that allows us to appreciate what was given to us so long ago, to really
understand what he means by "When force meets force" -- when self WILL throws you
back on the WHEEL to DESIRE, instead of allowing SOUL or DIVINE WILL to thrust
you forward on to MOTIVATION, to EVOLVE us into our next platform, into that third
platform.

And that's what's happening now in our planet. The opportunity for people
who are aware to live their lives in the HADIKI CONSCIOUSNESS in such a way that
we become motivated and not driven. Do you know the difference between being
motivated and driven?
Driven, beingMotivated, being
MAXINE: Motivation comes from something you want, and being driven comes
from somebody else.
Need, driven by; Identity; Space; Union; Status; Fear, driven by Want, for
Evolution; Want, union with God; Earth Bodies, linking of; Divine linking Libido
drives; Mutilation; Molestation; Abuse; First platform, not abandoned
GLORIA: No, we can be driven from our own NEED, our need for IDENTITY,
our need for SPACE, UNION, or our need for STATUS. And fear is also one of those
manifestations. We are driven by FEAR. But when you are MOTIVATED, you are also
motivated from within for what you want, and that's the higher WANT, the want for
EVOLUTION, the WANT for union with God, and not just each other. You see, when
we are driven by the need to unite with another of our like kind, that's the EARTH
BODIES linking -- that's not the Divine linking. It can be the expression of that
understanding most nearly to the Divine appreciation of our bodies. It can be that. But
how sick our society is now that it is using those drives, the libido drives to mutilate and
to molest and to abuse and all of the horror stories that we are hearing now. You see
what's happening is that this is coming out for us to observe. And as we observe it, we
begin to evolve theories on how we can live on a higher level. And as we do that, we
move up. You don't abandon that first platform. And when we move to the third
platform, we're not going to abandon the second platform -- those things will all be
within us. Just like all of the genetics of all of our ancestors are present in us. So that we
have a genetic pool to pass on to our children, from which they choose. Everything that
we have ever been, anything that we have ever known, everything that we have ever
experienced is still present.

BETTY: I have been spending a lot of time clearing out ...
GLORIA: Well, that was good though, because the way DESIRE moves around
the WHEEL is through expulsion. Remember, they told us that that was one of the
VOLITIONAL functions of the DESIRE BODY, was to expel out of it that which was no
longer needed. But they are talking about ATTITUDES and HABIT PATTERNS, not
experience... And all the collection of garbage that goes along with it. This is one of the
things that is happening to me right now -- I'm having to consider what disposition I am
going to make of the materiality around me.

BETTY: It's a matter of expulsion of changing the past or changing the way we
look, the attitude about it.

GLORIA: Right. Because the baggage you carry is the fear generated by the
experience, or the sorrow generated by the experience, or by anger or any inhibiting
desire or emotion that needs to be turned around so that it becomes a PROPULSION
instead of an IMPULSION.
BETTY: A gravel pathway instead of a boulder.
GLORIA: Good... But you see if you attack LIFE with force, it is going to resist
you. You can't go at it hammer and tongs. You must treat LIFE gently, and then LIFE
will treat with you gently. In all of this that is transpiring within me, and between me and
my SOURCE, I could get really up tight about all this. I could go through a whole
harangue of negative thoughts and emotions about this. (comment by Betty) Well, it
sounds good to me too, but there are a lot of people who would not be able to face it that
way.They would want to hang on and hang on and hang on.But as I say "Oh goody.
Let's go. Let's do it." They bring things to me.
Life, attacking with force; Life, resists Life, treat gently
Peter this morning asked me if I had a cigarette lighter in the Mazda, and I
don't have. But in the truck that they brought me, I not only have a cigarette lighter
where I can plug directly into my battery, I also have a built-in tape deck. So as soon as I
release the self will and say, "I will go with whatever comes my way. I will make the
best and use whatever of me there is to be used", I get all of this abundance. I get all the
tools I need to do what I need to do. And what else does one need in life? Abundance
isn’t necessarily money.
Abundance
One of the things that's happening in one of the pieces of property that Sue
and her husband own, there have been five break-ins in the last ten days. And all the
people wanted was food. They took no valuables. And in this little closed community --
it's one of these protected communities where they close the gate at night - -there's lots of
money there, lots of jewelry and furs and everything that you would think a thief would
want, and they took food. Now that clues you to what's going on. Remember the
Teachers said, "Don't hoard food. Don't keep food -- only what you need. And be
prepared to grow as you go." And it's coming to pass. So look around you at the events -
- economical, ecological -- all of the events that are transpiring, and put them together
with what the Teachers have told us over the last nine years, and you will see.

EDITH: A few weeks ago when I got home from our Friday night study group, I
was sitting at the kitchen table having a snack, and I looked up at my China cabinet -- it's
something Darrell made for me. He's made many things for me and I treasure these
things. I was just looking at it and thinking how much I appreciated it, and something
said to me, "Why don't you prepare to give it up?" It shook me up.
GLORIA: Now this is Gloria speaking out of what I have made out of what
Source has given me. I don't think we have more than two years of this life style left.
And I looked at the transcripts, and '88 was almost four years ago, and I told you then I
thought we had about six years -- that was just confirmed for me last night when I was
reading the transcripts. So the time schedule still seems to be on track.
We're going to carry forward on this I think -- they're going to go right on
through and complete the Wheel of Karma.
OWEN: Sometime early in the teachings, they said they were going to give us
some information on reincarnation. Is that in the cards?
GLORIA: I think probably as we get to the explanation of the third level, there
will be some information on that.
(Betty continued the service with giving ourselves a gentle gift. Using "prayer ties", each
tied a little pinch of tobacco in a bit of colored cloth while thinking of what to do for self,
then tied it onto a string. The whole string of prayer ties were to be burned at a sweat
lodge. Betty read the meditation from third Key, and then gave the blessing:)
