Gloria’s Circle
Present: Bill and friend, Betty and Roger, Clista and Angus, Edith and Darrell, Jean,
Jenika, Jnana and Phyllis, Joni and Dick, Marianne, Marlayna, Maxine, Myra and Nestor,
Owen, Peter, Sidney, Vivian, and Gloria with a Teacher from the Temple. (8:00
p.m., Saturday at Jnana and Phyllis's)
(This was on the occasion of the Hadiki Christmas party, also commemorating nine and a
half years of Circle activities with Gloria and the Temple Teachers. The evening
message was preceded by wine tasting (a delightful selection of Jenika's best) and a
sumptuous potluck feast.)
GLORIA: In this special season, instead of the usual invocation, since the
Teachers have already advised us they are here -- imperatively are here to give you a
message -- so that we can sort of tune up and tune in, let's all say "MERRY
CHRISTMAS" three times. OK, take some deep breaths ... all together MERRY
CHRISTMAS, MERRY CHRISTMAS, MERRY CHRISTMAS. (Done with enthusiasm
and vigor)
Give me a minute. ... The Teachers came, maybe three months ago and told
me, among other things that we were to have a Christmas party this year, because this
will be the last time that we will all be together in one place. They also told me -- have
been telling me in the last few days -- that they want to talk about this particular time of
year. .. Give me a minute, someone is here.
Christmas, meaning of; Involutionary spiral; Evolutionary spiral; Jesus, birth of
TEACHER: What you celebrate at this time of year is the advent of the vehicle --
mental, emotional, and physical -- that turns the INVOLUTIONARY SPIRAL into the
EVOLUTIONARY SPIRAL. The story that is given in the western Bible about the
BIRTH OF JESUS has a tremendously significant message for everyone who lives on
this planet Earth. Now while there are many planets Earth, there is only one planet that
you are on and of at this time.
Only begotten Son For God so loved the world; Absolute, intention of; Self, Realm
of; Realm of Self
When your scripture tells you that "God so loved the world that he gave his
only begotten son", the hidden meaning behind that is that in the Divine plan of the
Absolute's intention, we here now, the Realms of Mineral, Vegetable, Animal, and
Human -- all part of the REALM OF SELF -- and those of us that live in the REALM OF
EGO, and those of us who live in the REALM OF SOUL -- we are all a part of this
transitional period in which the blessing that went forth from the ABSOLUTE is turned
around and is brought back to the ABSOLUTE as its gift to itself.
Ego, Realm of; Realm of Ego; Soul, Realm of ;Realm of Soul; Mary, (The Virgin) ;
Mary, Yin energies and; Immaculate conception
MARY was the last of the Yin energies to immaculately conceive within
itself. At that last event, the story of Mary and Joseph, tells how Joseph, as a symbol of
the REALM OF EGO, nurtures the pregnancy of the REALM OF SOUL to give birth to
the REALM OF SELF.
Mary, Joseph and; Joseph, symbol; Realms, birth of; Planet Earth
On this planet -- this particular planet in this particular solar system -- a very
special thing was happening. LIGHT had enlivened MATTER, and rudimentary
intelligence existed operating at the INSTINCTUAL LEVEL. All activity attuned to the
herd, to the species, to the race. But with the advent, as described in the birth of your
JESUS, the HUMAN NOBILITY came to mate, came to imbue the life of your planet.
Matter, enlivened; Intelligence, rudimentary; Instinctual level, rudimentary
intelligence and Human nobility; Magi, gift of
With the gift of the Magi, the story of the Jesus born in the manger, is that
that human nobility came into this planetary existence through the animal world; came to
imbue the animal body with something greater than could have evolved out of just the
substance of the planet. In telling the story, the legend brought forth the story of the gift
of the Magi, and that is our gift to you on this celebration of the advent of BEINGNESS
growing back to the ABSOLUTE.
Christmas, meaning of; Wise Men, The; Involutionary Realm
You will recall that the so-called "WISE MEN" followed a star. They came
from the east. In the occult meaning of this, they came from the INVOLUTIONARY
REALM. They came bearing these gifts which had not yet become a part of this
planetary life. And the gifts that they brought were gold and frankincense and myrrh. In
the translation, in actual fact those are the humanities.
Gold, meaning of; Frankincense, meaning of; Ectoplasm
Gold is that shimmer that glows, that only humans have. Frankincense is
what has been mistakenly called "ectoplasm". It is that power within the human capacity
to manifest into any current reality out of an unseen reality. The myrrh is -- we must use
a Polynesian word, for you have no English word for it -- but the myrrh represents the
akah (?) body -- a sticky attribute of the SUBTLE BODIES that only humans have.
When a human meets another human, that stickiness of the subtle bodies performs the
function of bonding. No matter how transient your contact, the bond is never broken
thereafter.

These are the gifts of the Magi. That shimmering glow is your sense of
individuality -- your ability to know yourself, not as a member of a group or a herd or a
race. Not as an instinctual being, but SELF AWARE, VOLITIONALLY capable to
determine choices, and to make those choices in awareness. Only you as humans on this
planet are given that capability. You, through that ability to know yourselves, can use the
other two gifts -- the gift of manifestation and the gift of bonding.
Individuality, sense of; Self aware; Volitional
And this is our gift to you this night, that you know this about yourselves,
that you shall use these gifts wisely -- to grow, to help each other grow. It is the gift of
these three things that enables you to love. And it is your love for each other, your love
for your planet and all of its realms that enlarges the experience, that quantifies all of the
realms that you move through as you traverse EXPERIENCE back to the ABSOLUTE.
That is your gift to the Absolute from which you came.
Love, for each other; Love, for your planet; Love, for all realms; Absolute, your gift
to Teachers, turn to with love; Teachers, never separate from
And so we thank you for this opportunity, and we give you our love and our
blessing. Know that our AKAH and yours have bonded. You will never be separate
from us wherever you are, in whatever condition you are. We will always be there with
you and for you. All you have to do is turn to us with love, and you will find us. But we
will always know where you are, and we will always love you.
And so, we wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS, and our blessings -- go in peace.

GLORIA: I feel full (laughing).
JONI: That was beautiful. Did you hear all of it?
GLORIA: Some of it. They have been giving me a lot of information.
Silverthistle is just wanting his books written. I think that's why I'm going to the
mountains, to get the books done. I just don't seem to be able to shut off the world
enough here to get the job done. This would be the continuation of what he was doing --
the New Testament.
OWEN: Any clues on what Silverthistle has been doing, besides urging you?
GLORIA: No. I feel his presence, and I feel the urging. They are so forbearing.
JENIKA: I remember the times when we could dialogue with the Teacher, and I
can think of just so many questions I wish I had asked them when I had the chance. And
now it's not that way.
Tomorrow, a comment on
GLORIA: No. That always happens though in anything that human beings seem
to get connected with. They always think, "Well, I won't do that now, I can do it later."
And then "later" comes, and the opportunity isn't there. So when our metaphysical
teachers, our spiritual teachers tell us to "live now", they mean NOW! Not tomorrow, or
what may seem tomorrow. We don't know what tomorrow is.
