Session #14 – February 19, 1983
Gloria’s Circle

Present: Richard and Mary White, Bonnie Wisz, Myra Perala, Larry and Eileen
Horton, Ida Nevala, Clista Brooks, LaMar Bell, Owen and Maxine
Cramer.

S/T: Good evening. We bring blessings to all of you. I think you will enjoy
what we have for you this evening. But we have some unfinished business. Let us
proceed directly to the work you have done on your assignment. Let us take the next
one where we finished last time.

Owen: As I was looking for the path to follow, I saw a path following across a
misty field toward the edge of a forest. I followed this path. The entry into the forest was
quite dark. It soon became apparent I was in an old mine shaft. First I was reluctant to
proceed, but I found I was carrying a flashlight.
The floor and walls of the mine were damp and rather dark with no particular type
of rock showing. In a short distance I came to a large cavern as in a limestone cave. The
floor was flat and about the same level as the floor of the mine shaft. It was covered with
water, just very shallow water. There were a few stalactites and stalagmites, but no
elaborate limestone formations.
I hesitated until I noticed an opening in the distance to the left. I walked to the
opening, put my flashlight down, came out onto a flat desert country. There were no
trees, only short dry grass and some low brush. I wanted to go back and explore the cave,
so I turned around and picked up the flashlight and retraced my steps back through this
cavern to the mine shaft.
I located its extension on the far side of the cavern, and proceeded a short distance
when I came to a black void. My flashlight showed nothing up, down, or to the sides or
forward. This was a bit disturbing. I retraced my steps back out of the mine.

S/T: This exercise has served to show you how you conduct your
intellectual pursuits in this lifetime. You tend to think of that which is behind and
within. You think that which is intellectually explainable. When you move into the
area of intuitive pursuits, you find little there that gives you what you are seeking.
When you turn to the material world, you don’t realize this is not that which will
feed the spirit.
Thus it is necessary that you retrace your steps back to the spirit world from
which you came. The fact that there was shallow water in your cavern shows that
you do have some depth of emotion and the potential for developing the psychic side
of life. But the shallowness of the water shows that you have made little effort to do
this through the intuitional faculties, but rather through the analytical procedures
of mental operation.
It is for you to decide whether you wish to pursue intuitional processes or
not. There is no good or bad. This is simply an indicator of your life.

Clista: I am in a large building and it’s night time and there are three attendants
on either side of me. I am dressed in a white linen robe with sandals on my feet. I go
down ten steps to a landing and then down four more steps to a barge. I’m helped into the
barge. I hear instruments playing. I’m on the right side of the river. We go down the river
a couple of miles, and then we row to the left side. I’m helped out.
There is a lady there that is a personal attendant. We walk by ourselves down this
path. I have this instrument, some kind of gold instrument, in my hand. I turn and give it
to her and go off on this little path to a gate in this wall and go out. It looks like a full
moon shining in the sky. I look out, and it looks like desert country, hilly desert country. I
look at it and come back again and shut the gate. I come back on the main path with the
lady, and take the gold instrument in my hands. We walk down this path for a long way
until we get to what looks like a temple. There is a man standing, and that’s the end.

S/T: This is a lucid description of your entry into this lifetime. The first
structure in which you found yourself represents the family from which you came.
That is not the genetic earth family, but your spirit family to which you belong. The
river represents the river of life of which you are aware, and that you are a pilgrim
on a journey.
As you come upon your pathway, you are accompanied. This is the
embodiment in your mind of your spirit companion. You are one who has a constant
spirit companion. It would behoove you to make efforts to become acquainted, for
this person can be of great service to you.
You found when you left her company that you ended up in a desert-like
area which is this physical life. This person can give you great spiritual comfort and
guidance. The temple which you approached is that learning which you achieve in
this lifetime. The being which you perceived in front of the temple is also a member
of your spirit family which you have not yet met. But as you get acquainted with the
spirit guide, she will take you to him. From him you will learn many mysteries of
your own life.

Ida: I had a hard time getting started. My path was one I walked many times in
my childhood. The path was smooth and well-walked. On the left was a small creek. On
my right was a barbed-wire fence. I walked south till the path split. One went on south
between two hills, and the path I took turned west following the barbed-wire fence. The
path that went south still had the buck brush. On the one that I took west following the
fence was a field with stubble.
On my left was a rock hill with shrubs around it, and a jack rabbit jumped away
from it. The day was clear and sunny. Going west all at once the scenery changed into a
lot of low hills as far as I could see, and there was a blue mist. The further I looked, the
more blue the mist got. At the horizon the hills were very blue in the mist. I just stood
there amazed. I just stood. I didn’t come back. I didn’t carry anything. I didn’t see
anything else.

S/T: This is a description of the choices which you have made through your
lifetime. As you chose the right hand path following the barbed wire, you chose
those events in your life which caused hardship and pain, perhaps not to you
personally, but to those with whom you came in contact. As you moved along your
pathway of life, you have moved towards the blue mist of intellectual inquiry until
you come now to that time of life when you are able to satisfy those curiosities which
previously you had no time to dwell upon.
As you delve further into this realm of the blue mist, you come upon that
which does amaze you and leads you into the spiritual life. As you state in the
recounting of your experiences, the barbed wire is now behind you, and thus the
harshness of the physical life is behind you.

Larry: Doing the assignment, it was very easy for me with my past experience to
follow the instructions. You asked to be placed someplace and follow a path. I was at a
location where it seemed I have been before, which is on a hillside. I was standing on a
path. I tried to look back to see how in the heck I got to the path, but I couldn’t figure it
out, but it didn’t matter too much because I was there anyway.
I went ahead to walk on through. This used to be an old cow path on which the
ground should be hard, but somehow or other, the ground was real soft and easy to walk
on. I had no problem in walking.
Over at my left was an old dead apple tree. It was about the biggest I ever seen,
and it still had all the limbs. But the tree was dead, and it really stuck in my mind because
it was unusual. Just beyond that I could see an old abandoned farm home, a home that
had never been painted. It was ready to blow down or fall down, but yet it seemed like
you could go up there and do something with that home if you had the time and energy
for the effort to get it back into shape.
But I guess I will leave that alone. As I go on down the path, I was following your
instruction. It was very easy to walk, and along side on both the right and left the weeds
were about 2-1/2 feet high. The atmosphere was very quiet and peaceful. I had no trouble.
It wasn’t warm or hot or cold. It was just a pleasant temperature. I couldn’t feel a breeze,
but yet I was not in any discomfort.
You asked us to go on up the path which went up the side of a hillside to a fork.
You asked me to take the right. But just before I got that far, I noticed that just a little bit
farther on this path, I would be going over the hump where I could see on the other side.
You asked me to take the right and go west. In just a few steps I could see down into a
valley, most beautiful colors, a soft clean clear view at a distance. Somehow my eyes
were picking it up as if I was almost in there.
But it was down deep and at a distance. The trees were our evergreen. Somehow
or another it was just so quiet and peaceful. Looking into the valley, I was enjoying just
looking at it. You asked if I was to carry something with me. Well, all the time I realized
I had a pillow. It was quite soft, more like felt, and it was smooth. It didn’t have much
weight. I was ready to use it, but you asked me to come back, and I started back down the
path, and that’s where I left you.

S/T: Your pathway in life has been such that for others it would be hard to
walk, but for the spiritual gift which you brought with you the pathway became soft.
In other words, you have been able to handle matters easily which would be very
difficult for others. As you approached the brow of the hill, and you view the valley,
that which should be filled with fear and shadows, to you is peaceful and beautiful
showing that you regard life from a spiritual eye, although you do so in a practical
manner.
The pillow is the evidence that wherever you are, you can find rest, for you
have faith in that which will take care of you. It is this faith which all should
practice. This has been a very productive exercise for you. It should bear a message
of great comfort, for as you struggle with that which is giving you great pain at this
time, you now should know that you have the spiritual strength to find that which is
good out of the experience, and that the valley is not filled with shadows and death.

Eileen: As you know, the last time I spoke with you, I was having trouble
visualizing. I realize that the first time I tried, I believe that I got what I was supposed to
get, but I didn’t recognize it because it seemed more like imagination than visualization.
But every time that I would try to get a real clear-cut visualization, the same thing would
come back to my mind.
Larry said that probably was what I was supposed to get. It seemed that I was on a
path in the woods, and the trees were so tall that I wasn’t aware of the sky above the
trees. They were pine trees, and I seemed even aware of the pine odor and the softness of
the pine needles on the path. And the sun was streaming through the pine trees which
were on either side, left and right of the path.
I walked along for some distance, and this was all there was, these tall pine trees
with sun streaming through. As I started on the path, I picked up a pine cone. When I
came to a little fork, I laid the pine cone down and took the fork. It seemed like there was
more of a clearing. It wasn’t as thickly wooded. I sat down on a stump. It was very sunny.
I sat there for a few moments and got up, went back to the path, picked up my pine cone
and walked back. I laid the pine cone down again, and that was it.
But I did have – I followed up on what you advised about painting, and I did have
a very fantastic painting session. I just was on cloud nine. I felt so happy about what I
was doing. And then this morning when I woke up -- it seems like this is three-fold – a
very clear picture, the kind I’m always trying to get and can’t seem to when I try –
floated into my mind.
It was a path, but it was very short. It was only about four feet long, and it was
stones, the type that you find in a river bottom. It was a very neatly made path with these
different sized rocks, stones that were smooth, some oval, and some rather round. It was
quite smooth. On either side was a little bridge of stones like a curb. They were different
shades of gray. And then it just disappeared.

S/T:Trees always represent to the physical world, the aspiration for
spiritual life. The pine needles on your pathway are those rewards of the search or
aspirations which came down into the physical as little rewards that soften the
pathway under your feet. The fact that the sun shines through, of course, needs no
explanation but that you walk in the light of god, and you know that you are
blessed.
The pine cone represents the fruit of your aspirations which you carry in
your hand, and that would work out through your paintings, as the fruits of your
spiritual life come into being to enlighten, to encourage, and to inspire others.
The latter pathway shows that you are aware that the spiritual river
smoothes and polishes the stones under your feet. Through your spiritual life, your
pathway is made straight, and you do not have the difficulty that others might have
in meeting the contingencies which you have brought upon you. Thus this is a life of
blessedness and one leading to higher aspirational rewards.
Now I do believe that there are some questions in the minds of some about
their reading.

Richard: I found myself on a wooded path with a beautiful stream off to the right.
The path ran parallel for a while, and then the stream, I noticed, was farther and farther
away. I went into a wooded area. The pathway I was walking was moss-covered and soft.
I did notice that I was wearing something like moccasins on my feet. It was a very
pleasant path to walk with trees on either side, moonlight streaming through.
I noticed that I was carrying a covered earthenware bowl such as you cook with in
an oven. Finally I noticed that I had come to a V-shaped opening formed by two large
rocks, and it was necessary to set this bowl down and step carefully through the opening,
a rather sharp opening. And when I did so, I found myself standing on a very narrow
ledge, because the path didn’t just dip down, it was virtually non-existent. There was
nothing but a very sharp decline with rocks scattered all the way down. I thought of
possibly climbing down it, and then I realized that would simply start a rock slide and
would be dangerous.
I did look out, and there was a great flat valley way, way below, so far that things
were indistinct. The thing that I was concerned about was not slipping down that steep
slope to the point where I thought I had better step back through that cleft in the rocks,
which I did. I picked up my earthenware bowl and went back along the path I was
familiar with, and I enjoyed it.

S/T: Your moss-covered pathway demonstrates that you evaluate life in
terms of what has been in the past. Past experience and accumulated knowledge are
very important to you. The cleft in the rocks is a crisis in your life which you are
even now stepping through. Because you are aware that to make certain efforts on
your own account could start, as you called it, a rock slide, which would be events
powered by things beyond your control.
You choose to step back through the cleft, which is the right thing for you to
do rather than to descend in a haphazard manner to the plain below. Thus it is right
for you to move through traditional methods to resolve a crisis. Do you understand?
The earthenware bowl represents the body you are now wearing. Thus you
will leave the body temporarily, but you will return to it. The crisis will be what
causes you to leave it.

LaMar: In the questions you mentioned, you may have noticed those curls of
smoke coming out of my ears after the last session. (S/T: You were not pleased.)
Well, I think I finally made peace with that, but I was unable to understand why or how a
person who is doing the amount of work for other people in healing and all the things that
I’ve been doing could possibly have a life that was barren. About the second day after, I
decided that it must be in relation to the marital situation. When I removed the marital
situation from my thoughts and just tried to hold in my mind the things I had been doing
other than that, I had a very interesting meditation.
The path was no longer barren. Instead, it was extremely lush and the sides of the
path were solid with vegetation. They went up about twenty feet on both sides. It was a
very interesting thing. I assumed that it must mean that I was feeling boxed in, in some
way.

S/T: You must be aware that busy is not fulfilled. You may fill the hours of
your days and nights with busy, busy, busy, and people, people, people. But this
does not fulfill personal needs. It does not necessarily increase spiritual stature. You
must work with the self and the need which your ego has set into this manifestation,
in order for its development to then fulfill the needs of the soul body. It is not that
the work you are doing is in vain or in any way detrimental to you. But over much
causes you to neglect the essential self need.
This self need could be in the form of reading and study, but personal
companionship mostly. You need the give and take of shared thought on a level of
personhood, personally. You need that appreciation, that affection, of which I spoke
recently. The ego which parented you into this manifestation needs that experience
through you. Thus you have the three life streams which have been discussed before.
That is why your spirit friends could not walk the barren path with you. You will
find them daily accompanying you along the lush pathway.
The very high sides of the path represent your being so busy you cannot see
what you personally need. Now I will give those of you who still have not asked
your question time to think about what I have given you. We will proceed with this
night’s program.
“Ye are the salt of the earth. But if the salt hath lost its savor, wherefrom
then shall it be salted? It is henceforth no good for anything but to be cast away and
be trodden under the feet of men.”
There is a deeply hidden esoteric lesson here for you. This is a message to
spirit man, and the secret lies in the word “salt”. Now salt in your physical
manifestation is cubical in form. Thus it represents the tethered physical man
without spiritual enlightenment.
If you will draw a picture of an equal-sided square and then draw an equal-
sided square on the top side, and an equal-sided square on either side of the original
square, and two more equal-sided squares in line at the bottom of the original
square, you will have the cube opened up, and you will have the symbol of the cross.
Now, going into the antecedent of the word “salt”, in the Greek, the word means
“prudence.” If you are the prudent of the earth, and you lose your prudence, then
you lose that power to control your own domain. And when that happens, all that
lies beneath you is then of little value for it has no opportunity to become
spiritualized.
Going more deeply back to the oral tradition which gave rise to your holy
scripture, this message said, “You are the healers of your lives, and if you lose the
power to heal, then of what use are your lives? They are no better than the animals
which you feed and attempt to tame.” Thus it is that you must study truth. You
must love truth. You must obey truth, and thus become healers of your lives. For if
you do not heal that which is in this domain of the imperfected, then perfection will
not be attained, and all is lost.
Of course, you understand that nothing is ever totally lost, but is sent around
again. But if you would not live your life in vain, then be as the salt of the earth.
Retain your savor. Savor your life with yourselves. Add to the lives of others by
your thoughts, by your words, and by your deeds. Be healers that all in the domain
over which you have responsibility becomes perfect and whole in the image of that
which created you. And thus ends my homily for this night.
Now in keeping with what has just been given, and in preparation of your
minds for the message Judith has for you this evening, let us have a healing service.
Settle yourselves and build the energy. (Sounds of many hands rubbing together.) Oh,
you are lighting up the room as though there were neon throughout the atmosphere.
It is beautiful.
Relax now and bring in your loved ones…… Now again, build the energy,
and as you direct it to these loved ones which you have called in, see it forming a
cube-like structure enclosing them. Visualize this very strongly. Now, after the
pattern of the open cube which has just been given, allow the sides of light to lie
down on the floor and become the symbol of the cross upon which your loved ones
are standing. This is a pathway of healing light for them, and the emanations
continue to move up through their bodies permeating them with healing.
As the cross stretches its arms out, the energy moves into you and through
you, and around you and brings healing to you as well. Now let the Christ,
represented by the cross, rise and overflow, carrying the light throughout the world.
And you become the healers, the spiritual man embodied in earth, that you are
supposed to be. Put lots of power into your visualization. See the light emanating
from the cross, and moving throughout the world to bless and to heal, and especially
to bring peace to those tortured souls who have so recently died by violence.
This is the missionary work of the Christian church. And so it is done. Now
bring your hands, your palms to your chest. Feel the light and the power. Let this
blossom within you, blessing your lives so you bless the lives of all with whom you
come in contact. And now placing your palms together, you complete the act, and
you are blessed, and so it is. (Singing of Alleluia).

Judith: That was very beautiful, my precious ones. You have done a good job
this evening. Thank you very much. And now I come to give you further lessons on
deity that eventually you will come to understand what you are, who you are, and
how you are. If you could appreciate how precious, how very, very precious you
are…
But let us get on with the lesson. Last time I told you of the two seats of
power, the Sacred Flame and the Keepers of the Sacred Flame, and the Radiating
Principle and Truth. Now this may appear to be three, but it is actually two. Under
the seven laws which were given, certain principles must be acted upon. Before the
seven laws, there are two others: the Law of I Am and the Law of I Will.
Under the law of I Will is established the Principle of the Eternal Flame, that
which was given and will not be taken away nor can it ever be destroyed until that
which established it takes it back into itself.
Now the Radiating Principle and the Truth Principle are one and the same.
They are two faces of the same coin. That which faces you adheres to that which
does not face you. And when you turn it around, that which was not facing you faces
you, and that which was facing you is facing away from you. But it’s all the same
thing. Truth cannot exist except it is part of the Radiating Principle. And the
Radiating Principle cannot exist except it is united with Truth. Truth, in this
instance, and should be in all instances, the state of what actually is, or, to define in
another way, conformation with what has established it.
In other words, the Radiating Principle united with Truth can only be in the
form of The Absolute made manifest. Now remember that we are talking about the
nou-sphere as given before. (See session #10.) This is not the realm of physical
manifestation. These are principles upon which all realities to which you have access
are founded.
If you will, in your imagination, think of a Chinese wind chime. There is the
hanger at the center and concentric circles of bamboo connected together by little
threads. And the chimes hang from the largest circle. This is a very crude analogy,
but bear with me, if you will. The hanger is likened to the Divine Distillate, the
Divine Seed, out of which all that we are has come. The first bamboo circle, then, is
a representation of nine principles, two of which have just been given.
Tonight we discuss another two, the first of which is the Principle of
Migration, that which comes out of the Absolute, returns to the Absolute. But this
principle extends further than that, for it represents to you in the physical the
moving or transition into that state of being where you need to be at any point in
your time or experience. Thus you can never be out of place. The Principle of
Migration causes you to be where you need to be.
In your physical expression, there have been some very interesting
nomenclature given this principle. Some have called it serendipity, and some have
called it synchronicity. But know that you cannot be out of place, and that
everything that happens in and around and to you is appropriate to you. You cannot
avoid being where you are. Under some of the other principles and the action of
some laws, the conditions under which you are there may not be such as you would
have them be. But contemplate the Principle of Migration. You see the principle
operative in your realm as the birds fly south in the winter, but they always return
to where they came from. So under the Principle of Migration, you, too, shall return
from which you came.
Now the second principle to be given this evening is the Principle of
Differentiation. This is the establishment of uniqueness. The law says that kind
shall produce like kind. You are like what you came out of, and thus you are divine.
But the Principle of Differentiation establishes that no thing shall be identically like
unto another thing. So it is in your procreation that no two of your children are
absolutely identical. There is no one else identical to yourself. This carries down into
the very crystalline substances of which your earth is made. No two molecules, or
atoms, or erts are identical. This is the Principle of Differentiation, and in a way the
guarantee to the Absolute that a diversified experience shall be returned to it.
Thus ends my lesson for tonight. Blessings to all of you, and know that we
love you dearly. And now good night.
S/T: And now I am back. Are you sufficiently stimulated? Do you think
you have enough to contemplate until we meet again?
I would then ask you to sing, for I believe it is time for me to retire. Prepare
your lessons, and have your questions ready when I next return. And now good
night and God bless all of you.
