Gloria’s Circle

SILVERTHISTLE: Is there anything you wish to discuss, any question you may have about
what already has been said? .. You mean to imply that no-one is wondering about anything at all?
STUDENT: No, Silverthistle, we are wondering about a lot of things.
SILVERTHISTLE: Then let us get some dialogue going.
STUDENT: I'm interested in starting the healing and rubbing of the hands. I felt that got us
all started in the right direction.
SILVERTHISTLE: In order for that practice to do its work most efficiently requires a high
degree of concentration, and there will be some instructions to assist you in your visualization, but
first let’s have some dialogue to build up communications.
STUDENT: I was reading about different ideas about Karma always being in groups of ten
people instead of individually, and that when you are on the other side, you wait till everybody gets
there and then you are all one again. And that I can't understand.
SILVERTHISTLE: It would be my opinion that this is fanciful rationalization of someone who
is attempting to put himself in position of authority.It is true that you do REINCARNATE in
groups on this side of the fleshly veil, but the groups are fluid, they are not static. That is to say,
there are not ten individualities put into the fleshly world for varying lengths of life span so that
when the transition is made by some, they must wait for the transition of the rest in order to go
foreword. There is no beginning and there is no end, but the cycle seems to have that appearance at
certain times.
STUDENT: Thank you. I'm very much interested in your manner of teaching. It is quite
sophisticated to my early experiences in my own home, and I'm delighted to be here with you and
progress.
SILVERTHISTLE: We welcome you into this group. That is why there has not been a formal
outline or program, because the group is as yet incomplete. There are still those who will be
joining you. For the time being we will have little lessons.
STUDENT: Thank you. Silverthistle, this is Nellie. She is new to our group tonight.
SILVERTHISTLE: Thank you for the introduction -- it was not necessary, for we had put out
that vibration.
STUDENT: Silverthistle, may I ask a question? You say you put out the vibration. Do you
mean that others will be coming in that haven't been here before for such a thing?
SILVERTHISTLE: Yes indeed that is so. There are those who will make this a full complement
for the lessons that are to come.
STUDENT: Then each one of us is here for this same reason - -that we were drawn from the
vibrations to be here.
SILVERTHISTLE: That is quite true.
STUDENT: Silverthistle, I would like to ask a three part question: First, I would like to ask
you how old you are, how tall are you, and how long have you been in South America?
SILVERTHISTLE: (SILVERTHISTLE) Taking the third part first, I am not in South America -
- I am in North America with you. As was given last time, I have been through a TEMPLE OF
INITIATION in South America which brought me to the level of understanding that I can now
function as I am doing here. I have studied in order to fulfill this profession as a GUIDE and
communicaton. As for my physical appearance, it is whatever I see myself to be at any given time.
As I see myself at this time, I am quite tall and elongated, both in feet and hands, but we function in
this SPIRIT PHYSICAL world by THOUGHT. I can at any time make myself whatever I wish to
be. As for my age, that is difficult for me to tell you, because you can understand age only in terms
of years that your planet has existed, and I am older than your planet. But in this particular
manifestation, I am partly of your planet. But I have been around for many, many thousands of
years in this particular span of life.
STUDENT: Silverthistle, do I have a spirit guide?
SILVERTHISTLE: All of you have SPIRIT GUIDES -- not just one, but many. If you will
regard for a moment your Earth life and Earth education: In your formal education, you have many
different teachers to teach you whatever their fields of expertise may be. In the education of living,
you have various teachers that give you of their expertise. Mothers should teach mothering, and
fathers should teach fathering, and sisters should teach sistering, and friends teach you of
friendship, and lovers teach you of lovership. So throughout your lifetime, you are always
surrounded in the flesh by teachers.
So you are also surrounded in spirit by TEACHERS of varying degrees, expertise, and
knowledge. Some of your teachers are very close to the Earthly fleshly realm of which you inhabit.
Some of your teachers inhabit the SPIRIT PHYSICAL such as I do. Some of your teachers are
then what you might call more enlightened or dwell in finer realms, but do come through to you in
certain ways.
There are some who come with you as you enter in the birth experience and stay with
you through the death experience, and indeed some of them will continue with you after the death
experience and have been with you before the birth experience. And there are some who are with
you only for this span of life, and some who are with you for only a portion of this span.
But each has his duty and obligation to you. However, you must understand that a
teacher is not given to you alone to serve as your handmaiden, but is in charge of a number of
others as well, and thus may not be at your beck and call. However, you have certain GUIDES
AND PROTECTORS who are with you constantly.
You have either chosen a DESTINY or have been assigned a destiny. That pathway
may have many humps and byways, and it is the obligation and duty of certain of your guides to
see that you do not lose your way, and thus fail to accomplish that for which you have come.
STUDENT: Thank you. Are there different planes or spheres in the astral world -- a lower
one and a higher one?
SILVERTHISTLE: That is an over simplification, but to a certain degree it is true. As you have
in your fleshly life, you have people of high intent. You have those who are leaders and those who
are followers. You have those who invent and create and those who use and those who observe.
So it is in other REALMS OF EXPERIENCE.In what you call "spirit", there are many SPHERES
OF BEINGNESS, and those also have low intent and high intent and all degrees in between. This
is why I wanted you to begin thinking in terms of spheres rather than planes. Planes lead you to
think in terms of three dimensions, and your lessons are going to lead you into four and five
DIMENSIONS. If you do not think in terms of spheres, some of that which will be brought to you
will not be comprehended with any degree of efficiency.
STUDENT: Thank you. How do we know what kind of spirits are surrounding us?
SILVERTHISTLE: As your Christian Bible tells you, there is a gift of discrimination,
discernment. However, discernment and discrimination are also to be developed, if you have that
desire.
STUDENT: We actually choose our own destiny by the way we are living?
SILVERTHISTLE: In effect that is so. As you follow the path you have chosen to tread through
this life span, you set up the DESTINY that will be for you next time. Since you are in a degree of
understanding and experience which make it appear that your lives are like beads on a string, we
must talk in terms of previous and future, but that is not exactly the way it is. It is hoped that as we
progress in these lessons, you will come to understand how you live a life, and how you perceive
that life, and how you have a mission or destiny to fulfill.
But there are those in certain degrees of understanding who function in certain spheres,
who have duty obligation to oversee you. And there are those who sit in that relationship to those
who are guiding you. Depending upon the degree of enlightenment and understanding which you
manage to develop, you have some say in the destiny of any given life span, but at all times there is
a hierarchy of authority by virtue of wisdom which guides you along your way.
STUDENT: I just don't have the wisdom. I don't always know where to go. I wish my
experience would come a bit closer. SILVERTHISTLE: Hopefully in the coming lessons, you
will learn techniques of mental operations which will enable you to widen the scope of your
perceptions so that you will contact more directly those who have your best interest at heart.
STUDENT: I would like that. It would help all of us.
SILVERTHISTLE: To a great degree, that is the PURPOSE of this particular group.
STUDENT: After we pass the death transition, how long will it be for the average person to
reincarnate on Earth again?
SILVERTHISTLE: That question is totally unanswerable because there is no such thing as
average. Every individual is highly unique. As you are aware in your fleshly body, your finger
prints are never duplicated, nor are your foot prints, nor are your lip prints. And indeed, any part of
your skin and in your organs you are completely unique. And there is no way to make an average
of all uniqueness.
STUDENT: Thank you. Along that thought, the more we progress in this life, the more
understanding we gain, the more we can do for our fellow man -- does that help us in our progress
in the spirit world?
SILVERTHISTLE: (SILVERTHISTLE) Absolutely. For instance, my life is dedicated to
teaching fleshly people. It is a self imposed obligation, because it is going to teach me that which I
must know in order to move on to the next sphere which is my goal.
Each of you has goals whether they are very clearly defined or not. We in SPIRIT
PHYSICAL and in SPIRIT and in the higher spheres of activities all have goals and ambitions, if
you will accept that word. Perhaps motivations would more clearly describe what I am trying to
explain.
The orientation of your MOTIVATIONS then leads you into those experiences and to
contact those people, both fleshly and spirit physical which enable you to move toward your goal
now in the fleshly you. You do not always have control over the span of time which you have to
move towards that goal, and so you then may proceed toward that goal from another perspective
such as mine, when the time comes for you to do so.
But when you are given a life span that is to be lived in this realm of Spirit Physical as
mine is, the limitations of that span are different from the limitations of the span of life for a fleshly
vehicle. We are given more advance notice, if you will, when our time is to be up, and thus we are
never at a loss to complete a project. If we abandon a project which we have taken on, for instance,
if I should all of a sudden decide that I no longer want to teach this particular group, I will then rob
myself of the benefits that were inherent in the obligation which I took on. But in the flesh life, you
do not always know that you can complete an obligation before the flesh body requires sloughing
off.
STUDENT: Thank you. I try to keep my life simple, just try to be a good neighbor.
SILVERTHISTLE: That is most certainly commendable.
STUDENT: Do we have any choice when we transcend -- a choice to come back sooner or
later, or whatever our desires will be?
SILVERTHISTLE:That is what I was trying to explain in answer to an earlier question as to
average time between lives. To the degree that you have become enlightened and responsible for
yourself, you have a say in what becomes of you.
STUDENT: Isn't it true that we choose to come back to this earthly life for further
development?
SILVERTHISTLE: (REINCARNATION) Not always do you come back by personal choice. If
you have lived a certain style that has not fulfilled certain requirements put upon you by those of
higher authority, you may be sent back into fleshly realm.For instance, the PURPOSE OF
LIVING in the flesh is to encounter resistance which you must overcome through enlightenment,
and develop wisdom in certain ways.
Now you have a certain developed technology which has overcome the laws that were,
and has revealed what you might say are higher laws of the physical world. Thus you have
machines which perform miracles unknown not too long ago.
So it is in the MENTAL and SPIRITUAL REALM. As spirit, you live in the flesh to
overcome and transcend the laws you know.So you strive to learn the higher LAWS OF
UNIVERSALITY to move toward DIVINITY. If you are given a lifetime in which to perform
certain services, and you fail to do so to the degree that you were able when you entered that life,
you may be sent back in a life that has severe limitations, and thus you must work harder to
overcome the laws that govern the flesh instrument which you inhabit. There are times that you
may be sent back with a perfect flesh vehicle, and you find it very hard to love, and you must then
with all your might transcend that limitation to love. That is only one example. Do not be limited
by a singular example. Try to take that example and apply it into all other realms of experience.
STUDENT: That's a big order. Very enlightening. I'll work on it. I better have some help.
SILVERTHISTLE: That is what I have come to do -- to help you in any way that I can. But the
first step is to inform. If you (don't) have the facts, you will not desire the enlightenment. If it were
possible for all Spirit Physical guides to contact their charges directly, this kind of communication
would not be necessary. But this kind of communication developed as people desired to know that
life did continue beyond transition. If you will, that was the "hook" that Spirit gave in order to
attract your attention and make you want to know more about yourself, your world, and your life in
order to accomplish the DIVINE PURPOSE of SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION.
You are now coming into a cycle in which new mediumship must prevail. I come to
you to teach you about yourselves and your life, not to make contact with those who have
transitioned from time to time. This will be done, but only because it will serve to teach you an
important fact or to give you an experience for your enlightenment.
I think at this time your energies are sufficiently focused that we can now have some
HEALING. Put your palms together and rub them briskly to raise the energy. Breathe deeply at
the same time. .. Oh, that is marvelous -- you are just doing a great job... Now rest your hands and
bring in your loved ones. (P: Should we name them out loud?) Most certainly, that is a universal
law.
That is very good. You can continue to bring your loved ones in as you think of them.
But now again, rub your hands together and begin the visualization of blue and green light… If you
are having trouble with VISUALIZATION, think of something that is colored blue or colored
green, and just your thought will bring that color in.
Now point your palms towards the center of the circle and visualize those colors
scintillating and forming a vibrant actual ball of light in the center of the circle. There will be
sparks of light jumping out from the ball of light as it whirls. And as you continue to visualize and
direct your energy toward the center of that ball of light, the blue and green energy become more
intense. And those that you have brought into the circle receive the benefit. And now as you
continue to visualize, see that ball of energy, that sparkling blue and green, getting larger and
larger, spreading out as it envelopes all that are here in this circle. Feel the energy as it envelopes
you and brings healing into your body. And now continue your visualization and let it spread and
spread until it encircles the globe and brings healing and peace and wisdom to the leaders of all
nations.
This particular kind of service is most essential at this time. There are forces shaping
up to bring great fear and trepidation to all nations. I do wish to reassure you, however, that all is
in DIVINE ORDER, and you must have confidence in those who guide and protect you and not let
fear destroy your connection. And as you function in confidence and faith, your visualization of
this energy sends that confidence and faith into the hearts and minds of those who are in need of it
and who have the responsibilities to direct the events which are now forming and which will very
soon come to pass.
Now, as you see this beautiful light surrounding your globe, let it grow and grow until
it permeates all of the atmosphere, protecting your planet and healing your planet. And we here in
the Spirit Physical are also blessed and healed by your efforts as we work with you and you work
with us. Now, before we end this service, bring your palms gently together to seal the energies
within your body that they continue with you as you go through your daily routine.
Bless that energy to your body to sustain you and to heal you, not only physically, but
mentally and emotionally. Through the days to come when you feel disheartened, depressed, and
afraid, bring back the memory of this time together, and visualize for yourself again the blue and
green light. If you cannot do the visualization, rub your hands together and feel the energy, and
know that energy is to bless you and to heal you. And you will feel your heart lift up, and you will
again be hopeful and energetic. We thank you and bless you. And so it is.
STUDENT: Thank you. Do you think that each of us by meditating on a regular basis with
certain exercises raises our selves closer to what we call divinity?
SILVERTHISTLE: That is the most important. It is only through that kind of activity that you
can truly come in contact with your guides and your hierarchy of teachers and healers and
protectors. There are those who are ever present, but as you meditate, as you ask, you will be made
more aware as physical events transpire to show the presence of these protectors and guides.
It is essential for the growth of the SPIRIT BEING to spend time in solitude and
silence away from the battering of the physical world. With your current technology and your
density of population, your bodies are bombarded constantly by invisible rays and energy. This
bombardment separates you from contact with higher intelligence. It is only as you allow yourself
to withdraw from this bombardment can you come into communication, except for these special
times as right now.
STUDENT: Thank you. I cannot visualize anything. I try and try. What can I do about it?
SILVERTHISTLE: (MEDITATION INSTRUCTION) These, by the way, are those limitations
of which I spoke earlier. In another life you had certain opportunities which you failed to grasp and
deal with. Consequently, you now must face up to this limitation, a blindness, if you will. You will
recognize that you have a physical limitation which corresponds to the spiritual limitation. You
have to take extra means and efforts in order to see with your physical eyes. So, you must also take
extra means and effort to see with your non-physical eye. And as time goes by, I will be giving
further instructions on how to do this.
For now, I recommend to you, get some physical thing which is a color blue which
feels good to you -- a piece of cloth, paper, or picture. And in your quiet time, gaze placidly at that
blue until you can see it with your eyes closed, until such time as you can at any time you decide to
do so, close your eyes and see that item of blue. As you look at the item of blue, try to keep your
emotional climate as peaceful and calm as you can. Shut out those thoughts which are disturbing.
If some little annoyance tries to divert your attention from this blue item, dismiss it and refocus
your attention. If you will practice this during the coming days between now and the next session,
you will find at the next session that it will be easier for you to function effectively during the
healing.
STUDENT: Thank you. I needed that very much. That helps all of us.
SILVERTHISTLE: From time to time personal instruction will be given as you have been told
before, because it will benefit more than a single individual.
STUDENT: I think I’m not concentrating -- maybe some guilt feelings. Whatever it is
keeps me from the visualization, keeps me from concentrating.
SILVERTHISTLE: GUILT is the strongest emotion to defeat the purpose for which you entered
this life. This applies to all of you. Any time that you begin to feel threatened and guilty, recognize
that you are feeling that way, and you do not have to feel that way. Whenever you feel guilty,
dismiss that feeling. Do not entertain it. If you cannot forgive yourself, you cannot forgive another.
Thus you invite severe limitation in another life.
STUDENT: We carry this on with us, don't we? If we carry that now, we carry it on to the
next life?
SILVERTHISTLE: (KARMA) That is true, but it may become intensified in another life -- it is
not carried necessarily in the same degree. That is why it is so very important to rid yourself of
these negative emotions, because they can become intensified physical limitations in other lives as
though you are HANDICAPPED.
For an example, a person in your flesh experience now who has M.D., muscular
dystrophy, may have brought with him guilt about the way in which he used his muscles in another
life. Thus the guilt is intensified in the flesh, because now his muscles are failing him altogether,
and he must then exercise greater effort to cope with the resistance which he finds in this physical
sphere. Had he coped with the resistances in the emotional sphere of that other life rather than
given in to the guilt and fear, he would not now be handicapped in the flesh.
STUDENT: In this life -- what you said -- so many wonderful people I know in this life are
stricken, say with bone cancer. Is this because of something they did in a previous life?
SILVERTHISTLE:Not always.There are certain times, certain individuals may be stricken
with cancer, because that is the way the mind has devised to allow them to escape certain life
conditions they have created themselves but no longer can cope with. But there are those cancer
victims who are indeed suffering that limitation and pain as a result of failure at some earlier time.
STUDENT: We have a lot to learn -- like babies learning all over again.
SILVERTHISTLE: You see, one of the major limitations of the spirit dwelling in the flesh is
lack of memory. As I exist now, I have greater memory of earlier or other times, thus I have a
different perspective of my life than you would have on yours. With that perspective, I hopefully
am going to do a better job with this life now granted me. If I do not, then there is that possibility
that I must go into another life of severe restrictions which might be the restriction of the fleshly
realm. But do not be deceived, there are other realms of severe limitations very unlike your flesh
existence but every bit as real.
STUDENT: In your last life, were you a happy person?
SILVERTHISTLE: HAPPY is not a constant state. Happy is something that occurs when
conditions arrive at that matrix. You may pour all kinds of effort -- mental, emotional, and physical
-- into an enterprise which fails. While you are pouring forth this effort, you may be very happy,
and still there is failure which then might bring guilt and fear and sense of unworthiness that does
not obviate the happiness felt in making the effort. So it is not possible for me to tell you all the
times that I have been happy.
I am happy being here with you. I am happy with this thing which I have promised
and committed myself to do -- I am fulfilling a mission or destiny, if you will, and that gives me
happiness. At the same time, when I fail to be clear in my communications, if I am unable to get a
point across, I then experience failure.I cannot say that I am happy when I fail, but I do not need
to feel guilty, for I will do the very best I can to get that point across at another time.At the same
time I can feel gratified that even though I was unable to get the point across, I did the very best I
could, and that is what is required of you -- to do the best you can at that level of understanding and
consciousness at which you are functioning. No one expects you to do more than that, but you
need to strive to raise your consciousness and broaden your understanding so that you can continue
to do a better job all the time.
STUDENT: You make it understood there is more to the spiritual world than just playing a
harp. My mother explained it to me from the spiritual world that her work was to help those who --
a person who passed on in confusion -- they didn't know what release from this life was like, and
they were confused. And her work in the spirit world was to comfort them and to help them orient
into the new conditions. So there is a job for all of us, so let's prepare for it.
SILVERTHISTLE: That is exactly so. This is what I was trying to convey about myself. My
job is to find an INSTRUMENT through which to work, and to guide and protect that very
instrument.
In order to function in groups such as this now, I am not alone in this effort. There are
others with me. It is as though I am in that echelon next to your fleshly sphere. We calibrate here
to send forth the vibratory message which magnetizes or attracts those people together who will
make a STUDY GROUP, that together their consciousness will be raised and their understanding
will be increased. And as this is accomplished, they become teachers for others in their fleshly
realm, and also prepare themselves for the job they will perform in other existences.
There is no idleness anywhere. IDLENESS is a vacuum. You know that in your
physical realm that nature abhors a vacuum. You have to transcend the laws of your nature in order
to create and sustain a vacuum, otherwise spirit pours in and a vacuum does not exist.
The truly idle have to work to sustain that idleness.It is easier not to be idle outside of
the flesh than in. Idleness being one aspect of limitation that you must overcome in the flesh. But
you know that in the flesh you must make effort to sustain that life style, and it does take effort
even though you may not be able to see the exact nature of that effort... From the silence it would
seem I have confounded you all.
STUDENT: You sure have. We are thinking about all this.
SILVERTHISTLE: If that is so, perhaps you would wish to bring this session to an end. If you
think you have enough to think about in the interim time before your next session.
STUDENT: I want to ask one more question. What about astral worlds -- how far away are
they?
SILVERTHISTLE: I would like to withhold answer to that question, because there is a lesson
session coming in which the various spheres to which you have access will be described to you, and
at that time you will be given certain rules of conduct, if you will, to protect yourselves, and also by
which you can take advantage of that knowledge.
STUDENT: That's fine -- we will eagerly wait for that lesson.
SILVERTHISTLE: Very well. I will bid you good night and thank you for having me. We
bless you all. Go with God.
