The Creative Existence of Self 6/12/10

This is also an endowment Existence. Not every earth dweller can be a
painter, sculptor, singer, dancer, poet. Creativity can be discovered in nearly
every thought and activity that you experience. Without creativity, you would be
robot-like. As with the Courageous Existence, the Creative Existence is also
reciprocal. The more creative you are, the more creativity you can receive.

When life seems blue, gloomy or dull, it is for you to find a way out of this
mood, not to look for salvation from someone else. Others can be of inspiration
to you, of course, but only you can change you. If you wish to wallow in self-pity,
enjoy an uncomfortable day, make others around you as miserable as you are,
that is your choice, of course, but it does not gain you any credits in the Creative
Existence. It actually uses up gains you may have made previously. You don’t
have to get out the scissors, glue and craft paper to be creative enough to raise
yourself out of your doldrums, although this may be the exact solution for some.
For others, perhaps singing yourself a song, telling yourself a joke, hugging a
stuffed animal, or looking at the world around you and all the gifts it gives you
every second. Even in the most arid of land, there is beauty that can inspire.
Some of the greatest poetry and paintings have come out of just such areas.

If you cannot find some creativity within yourself upon which to capitalize,
look at a plant and see it for what it is, a living, struggling entity doing its best to
show the world it’s determination to grow, to show its beauty, to benefit its
environment. Then ask yourself if you are doing as much.

You have been told many times how significant the smallest expression of
energy is in your world. Even the act of seeking something to resolve your
dilemma is an act of creativity. Make no mind if it is only looking at a picture and
having an emotional response to the color, shape, or content. That emotional
response has creativity built into it by virtue of the endowment, and your
volunteering to look at the picture makes some return on your behalf.

Success lies in the little moments of your life. The big moments take care
of themselves. If you are faced with a challenge that you believe offers you no
way out, around or over, the simple act of putting your thoughts on paper can
make an amazing change, can bring forward the gift of creativity by endowment,
and solutions you would not have otherwise entertained announce themselves in
your mind. If you have enough credits in the Courageous Existence to take action
on these new ideas, your journey becomes easier, swifter and more certain.

Pro-creation is not the creative act one might think. It is a built-in survival
property of Life. Intention uses it as a method of insuring continuity. There is pro-
creation at every level of Being. The fact that earth dwellers use difficult methods
is simply part of the residual of Involution that will be grown out of eventually as
your Beingness moves on to other conditions. Earth life is something of a
laboratory in which Life works out some of its “kinks”. There are other earths
where this is also happening. This is not said to make you feel inferior or
unimportant, but rather to help you understand just how important you are in the
scheme of Existence, Itself.

While we speak of the physical aspect of your participation in the Creative
Existence, there is another equally important but often overlooked creative
aspect to the human condition. This aspect lies in the non-material experience of
dreams, fantasies, daydreaming, imagination and ideas. To give you an example
of how important this aspect is, think of Walt Disney. His concept of a cartoon
mouse was sponsored by an idle remark made by a friend. Look at the creativity
that has rippled out from that idle remark. You have no idea what impact you may
have on someone who just overhears something you might express. Also, give
credence to your own non-material experience. How often do you permit yourself
to daydream? What is your attitude toward fantasy? Is it a waste of your time to
imagine something improbable? It may seem so to you buried in your material life
of commerce, relationships, responsibilities. But it is not, let me warn you. If you
do not give yourself the opportunity to fantasize about something improbable,
you are denying yourself a huge contribution to the Creative Existence.

Imagination is often the doorway to problem solving, and while you are on
that pathway, you may be making great contributions to Happy, Healthy, Wealthy
and Wise Existences, but you are also making a goodly contribution to the
Creative Existence. Remember also the reciprocity here. The more you
contributor the more you benefit.

Earlier it was mentioned that a dream diary would be helpful in your
growth in other areas. In this area of creativity, a dream diary can also prove very
valuable to you. Often your dreams contain the solution to your problems, as well
as being warning signs of upcoming distress or discomfort. A dream that offers a
solution is most often sponsored by the endowment of Creative Existence, not
merely your own subconscious. Your Source is very often the conduit for your
receiving the benefit of the endowment as well.

Even though you may not put on paper the images your mind entertains
when your imagination is active, the very fact of the imagining serves to
contribute to the Creative Existence. Any image your mind conjures up for you
remains in the matrix of the Universe, and at some point in time and space will
intersect with someone who needs that image. Physically recording images can
be entertaining and uplifting as in the case of an artist’s painting, sculpture, song,
poem and so forth. But just the thought alone carries a great deal of thrust and
importance.

As you meet the challenges of your daily life, you are called upon to find
solutions to problems, ways around, over or through obstacles, your mind is
constantly producing images that remained stored in the Universal Matrix. While
maybe only one of your ideas can serve to resolve your situation, the other ideas
which you do not apply or are unable to use will serve someone else and thus
gain you credits in the Creative Existence and toward your personal growth into
the completion of your personal assignment.

One of the most important activities and overlooked contributions to the
Creative Existence is that of finding alternative applications for things. A baseball
bat is fashioned for the purpose of hitting, so whether it hits a ball or a head is of
no importance. It is still being used only for hitting. But if it is used as a standard
against which a small plant may grow, it is being used in a creatively creditable
manner. The child who picks up a tree branch and knocks a rock around his yard
is being truly creative and contributing greatly. Actually, children contribute more
than adults do as you grow into the expectations of your adult world. So, it
behooves you to be childlike sometimes, but certainly not childish.

So far, my emphasis here has been on what ordinary humans can do
during their daily routines. But we cannot close without addressing the huge
contribution made by those whom you consider artists and geniuses. It is not only
the contribution made by their creative self-expression that is important. Their
products continue to contribute for the lifetime of the product. Every time a
painting is admired, a poem read and responded to, a performance enjoyed,
there is a contribution made.

And while we are speaking of appreciation, not to be overlooked are the
artistic expressions of those who are not geniuses or recognized artists. The little
kindergarten child who draws a picture of his pet, family or home, is making as
great a contribution as the genius. The more that child’s effort is admired and
appreciated, the greater the contribution. Every time one’s pet demonstrate an
unusual trait or performance, a contribution is made. The more enjoyment
derived from such performance, the greater the contribution made by both
performer and audience.

Also to be recognized, is the creative effort put forth by a child, pet or
human to gain attention which should be regarded as a contribution rather than
an annoyance. The more patience and tolerance you give at such a time, the
more credit you earn for yourself in other Existences as has been mentioned
before, but the contribution to the Creative Existence must not be overlooked.

Lastly, I would tell you that the endowment of the Creative Existence is
ingenuity. Without ingenuity you would not be creative. So tap into this gift as
often as possible and find a new and renewed interest in the world around you,
as you see alternatives to the usual. Wherever you find the usual, look for the
unusual. Where you see the ordinary, look for the extraordinary. If you do not find
such, seek to find ways you can add that to your environment.
And so, I leave you now with my blessings. Go in peace.
