On Accretion and Accumulation 11/30/2010

While there are twelve Intentions, they often intertwine with each other.
Actually the twelve are all faces of Intention rather than individual or stand-alone
characters. Incarnating entities are given a priority of one or the other to fulfill.
Dissemination was not discussed with Growth but there cannot be one without
the other, so they are actually one and the same, not two faces of the same coin.
Accretion and Accumulation are two different things. Accretion is an
automatic action programmed into your Universe when it was created. You
cannot avoid Accretion. It is the mover behind the storage of your energy cells as
your body converts nutrient into fat cells. Accumulation is the individual’s decision
to incorporate activity into its life that sufficiently uses up this stored energy, or if
that energy is not used up, the energy cells collect as fat pads on the body.
Obviously, Accumulation is more evident in animal life on your planet than in
plant or mineral, but they, too, accumulate to some degree or other depending on
their ratio of Volition to Consciousness.
Accretion is the act of drawing to the entity, whether planet, star, human,
mineral, or whatever that which it needs to become more than it starts out to be.
It is the mover behind cells growing together to make a larger body while
Accumulation is a choice made by the accreting body to add unnecessary matter
to its existence.
While Accumulation seemingly just “happens”, there lies behind it ambition
and drive to improve. As you well know, not all Accumulation provides
improvement in terms of health, sanitation, or freedom.
If one thing acquired makes something better, then more of it should make
for betterment, and then what else could be acquired to add to the benefits? This
process actually is inherent in everything on your planet including seemingly inert
minerals. Certainly plants demonstrate this as they seek to multiply their number,
and in order to do so must acquire more area in which to do so and more
sustenance to support their growth. And so on up the chain of increasing ratio of
Volition to Consciousness such as is found in humans.
Accumulation is good, but as you well know can become excessive and
thereby no longer beneficial. Over-accumulation leads to laziness, disinterest,
and forfeiture of benefits. Consequently, without Dissemination, which is part of
Growth, evolution is inhibited. It is incumbent on those of greater ratio of Volition
to Consciousness, to see that dissemination takes place. Too much
accumulation in one area denies accumulation in other areas and causes
imbalance which the Universe strives to prevent or correct.
The more humans exercise their Volition to utilize the assets of their
planet, the greater the planet’s evolution, the more benefit the dwellers of your
earth can enjoy. But this must be balanced with Conservation.
One of the ways in which Accumulation defeats Dissemination is taking
place in your country and causing an imbalance that needs to be corrected for
the survival of your current lifestyles is the thinking of those in power that permits
humans to freeload on the backs of those who work to provide the benefits given
so freely. An even distribution of work and play is required for balance to be
sustained. If one is not required to work for one’s livelihood, but it is given
through governmental programs, charities, etc. the balance is impaired. That is
not to say that charity is a bad thing, for it certainly is not and has its place in the
beneficial scheme of things.
But you all well know there is plenty of evidence that accumulation is over-
extended. Wealth accumulates in some quarters while poverty and want
accumulate in others. While the poverty and want may be chalked up to natural
phenomena such as weather, or denial of dissemination by corruption, or misuse
of resources, it is only illusion. These circumstances result from the way people
think. Thoughts ARE things, and they have life, action and consequences.
Dissemination does not mean the free gift of livelihood to those who will
not do for themselves, or seem to be unable to do so. Dissemination requires
that the resources be used wisely and for the benefit of all, not just some. We are
not speaking of socialism here, but education of citizens of all earth regarding the
misuse of power, misdirected ambition, misguided drive to accumulate goods
and services.
Education focused on contentment, appreciation of one’s own worth,
balanced attitudes toward power and its use, and discarding of bigoted concepts
of class all need to be addressed. An orchid that needs only water and air to
thrive is no more valuable than the common weed that requires soil as well and
perhaps does not appear to supply as much beauty for human appreciation.
Even weeds have their place and contribute to the overall good when
accumulation is controlled and dissemination properly conducted.
At the individual level, Accumulation can be harmful in the way that over-
accumulation of one thing prevents accumulation of something else which may
be more beneficial. It’s not just the accumulation of possessions, although
collections may provide a means to accumulate wealth. It is the accumulation of
unused items that you “might need someday”. A rainy-day fund is a good thing,
but only if it is in accordance with actual anticipated need, not based on an
emotional need for security. Food hoarders for instance are often motivated by
insecurity or lack of love.
Look into your own life and see what it is that you are accumulating
beyond the bounds of rational use. The type of thing accumulated can be a clue
to what it is you are compensating for. To attain balance you need then to
address what changes may be necessary to fulfill the need. This is where
Creativity can be useful. Often incorporating some charitable effort into creative
plans for expanding and improving your own life adds more to your life than you
might expect.
Accumulation of money is often a sign of vulnerability and the need to
enhance one’s own powers of self-preservation. When carried to extremes it
becomes obscene, destructive and spiritually wanton. If you have the ability to
accumulate great wealth then use it to enhance the education of others, so they
have the means to exercise control over their own lives and not become a
societal burden. Only through education will the “let them eat cake” handouts of
government be resolved into reasonable service and cost.
Missionary work with the humanitarian goal of education rather than mere
services is far more valuable to those in need. This is an ancient truth that is
mouth taught but not heart practiced. In all religions this practice is taught in one
way or another, but not actually practiced except by the few, who are then
honored for their humanitarian works! Is that not a sad commentary on your
civilization?
If resources are properly obtained and utilized, corruption is defeated and
your world moves closer to the Age of Netsok.
So far we have discussed Accumulation in terms of worldly possessions
for the most part, but Accumulation also concerns the Mental, Emotional and
Spiritual realms. Ideas are acculturated through many avenues. Some come from
your physical world around you such as experience, shared thoughts, mutual
inspiration and such. Some minds have the acuity to see things from a different
perspective than most do, or in your vernacular “think outside the box”. Or “that
made me think of something else”. Some ideas come from seemingly unknown
sources such as “it suddenly came to me” or “I suddenly thought of…”. Your
Source feeds you ideas all the time. Most minds merely accumulate these ideas
but take no action on them. For ideas to mature takes focus and creativity, often
dedication, and sometimes sacrifice. In your busy lives the immediate concerns
of your day take your attention, and ideas simply accumulate to no purpose.
This is not to suggest that one must take action on every idea that comes
into the mind. But this is pointed out to you so that you will be more aware of the
accumulation of ideas. Not all ideas are good ones, either. Just for an informative
exercise you might try keeping a notepad handy and writing down ideas as they
occur even if you have no intention of doing anything with them. You might
surprise yourself as to how many ideas you actually have with an obvious “ah
ha!”
A more harmful accumulation is that of feelings. There is nothing in your
worldly experience that does not have a feeling attached to it. It may be such an
ordinary experience that it does not call your attention, but you are feeling
something all the time. Those who harbor negative feelings about anything --
people, material things, thoughts - it matters not, accumulation toxins in the
Mental body as well as the Emotional and physical bodies, not to mention the
inherent damage to the spiritual side of life. Some minds poison the whole life
with negative feelings. Accumulating these feelings is demanding on the stamina,
inhibiting to creativity, and antipathetic to human relationships. Such
accumulation needs to be cleaned out and sterilized. First they must be
recognized. Look for not just anger, but smoldering resentment, feelings of
exploitation, disappointment when expectation is not met, situations where
forbearance is required but hard to give.
One very good exercise to rid oneself of such accumulation is to make it a
point each morning to choose some particular negative feelings, bless yourself,
make the determination to erase it in whatever manner is appropriate and then
turn it over to Source to deliver to you the opportunity to completely reverse that
feeling. If you do this, you will soon find that love replaces these feelings and
your world becomes much brighter and more rewarding, your health improves,
you sleep better and your efforts are more successful.
It would seem you have been given enough to consider for this time. For
now, dear ones, go in peace, goodwill and prosperity.
