Session #23 – September 17, 1983
Gloria’s Circle

Present: Bonnie Wisz, Myra Perala, Ida Nevala, Owen and Maxine Cramer, LaMar
and Reta Mae Bell, Peggy Muldoon, Larry and Eileen Horton,
Richard and Mary White.

Sheariam: Good evening friends and students. How are you this evening? Did
you all work on your assignment? (Affirmative responses.) Good. Then we have our
work cut out for us this night. Who would wish to share first?

Maxine: I had a path, and I walked toward the well. I got to the well, and it was
rocked, a stone rim around the well. It had a roof, and it had a crank that let down the cup
for the water. So, I let it down and drew up the cup. It was very pretty, sparkling and
clear water, and there were a few little ripples in the cup. So, I took the cup, and I didn’t
drink it. I just took the cup. I walked away from the well, and it was a nice narrow path
with green on the one side and a beautiful blue sky with fluffy clouds. There was a
yellow flower and a blue flower along side the path. I looked back and there were about
five people at the well. They were just standing. They weren’t drinking from the well.
They were just standing.

Sheariam:Very well. As you will all come to know, the well represents your life
style – that portion of the life energy of which you are partaking at this time. The
description of the well describes certain feelings you have about your life at this
moment in it. Your rock well shows that there are hard places in your life,
difficulties which you are attempting to resolve.
The fact that the water was sparkling shows your attitude of appreciation for
your life, but you did not drink of the water. By this you are saying that you are not
partaking of life to the fullest. You are recognizing some withholding. The five
people represent numerologically that you are in a state of change or adaptation.
Now, of those five people, is there any particular person who stands out from the
group?

Maxine: No. There was no particular person who stood out. (Sheariam: Were
there more men than women?) I can’t say that either. I just was aware that there were
about five people there.

Sheariam: Very well. This would indicate that you are not sufficiently observant
or aware of certain ideas that are coming to you at this time that could help you.
Therefore, the next time you do this meditation, take more note of the people at the
well. Attempt to have a conversation with one or more of them, and we will again
discuss this. Very well.

Bonnie: I’m Bonnie. I was at the well, and I took the cup. I lifted it, and I looked
inside. It was filled with precious gems, jewels of all kinds. It was just beautiful. I looked
over to the right, and on risers were about fifty people as a choir. They were all in white
robes. I looked at them. It was almost like an S-shape. Those people stood out because
they were black people. I looked carefully, and all the people were just all kinds of faces
from all over the world, all kinds of eyes and characteristics. I was just happy to see them
all together. They weren’t singing, or I didn’t hear the song if they were.
I looked over to the left of the well, and on that side were musicians. I didn’t look
real carefully as far as their characteristics. I just assumed that it was the same blend of
people, that they were musicians.
I drank the water, and I went down to the ground. I was so tired. I crawled away
from the well. I looked back, and the right and the left seemed almost political. They all
came together in back of the well. All joined together. They put up a sign that said
“PEACE”. The sign just glittered like it was full of all these special stones. Then they
threw more stones out just like confetti. They just threw them up, and they just sparkled.
It was beautiful. That was it.

Sheariam: That was a very beautiful meditation. Now you understand that the
gem stones are the minerals of the planet upon which you live. Thus they represent
the hidden resources of your own life. You’re bringing to life some of the joyful,
brilliant resources that you have within your character.
The fact that there is an “S” shape in your meditation is representative of the
number one, which means, of course, as reiterated later in your meditation, that you
are, in slang, getting your act together. The multitude of different ethnic
backgrounds of which you spoke is again a reiteration that you are bringing
fragments of your life back into unity.
Your life is becoming more personally controlled. You are aware of many
facets of your life which you were not previously incorporating into your daily
experience. The fact that you immediately felt fatigued upon drinking the water is a
warning that as you become involved and exuberant about this re-establishment of
your life, you can become very quickly over extended. And that is simply a warning
for you to go slowly, carefully, but joyfully.

Myra: I’m Myra. I tried all week but couldn’t remember what the meditation was
to be about.

Sheariam: Then it was not time for you to do it. And that was perfectly all right.
In this class, by this time, you should have learned that there is no guilt. There is no
reason to feel guilty.

Ida: I’m Ida. I don’t even remember having an assignment. (Sheariam: That’s
perfectly all right. There is plenty of time in the future for you to do this if you
desire. This is, after all, not a commandment. It is simply an exercise that you may
do if you wish.

Eileen: My name is Eileen. I don’t feel guilty either, because I did try a number of
times. I was able to meditate, but I didn’t get any visualization. I placed it in my mind
before I went into meditation. I did think of a particular type of well. It seemed a rather
quaint well with a little roof on it. I don’t know what they call it, similar to a wishing
well. But beyond that, I just have to keep trying. (Sheariam: Very well.)

Peggy: I’m Peggy, and I tried a couple of times before, and I didn’t get anything.
But the last time I tried, I walked up to it. There was no path. There was just a lawn, and
all around were trees. This well was like some I’ve seen. There was just a wide rim
around the well. I didn’t see any fancy top. There were four young people. There was a
man and a woman and two others I couldn’t make out, but there were four people sitting
on the rim of the well. And then all at once it just went away.

Sheariam: For that fragment of your meditation, the well was supporting the
people sitting on the rim. Thus, there is that in your life which you feel is supportive
of others as though you are rendering a service of some kind. The fact that there
were two of opposite sex shows that there is ambivalence in this feeling about this
support. You are feeling, perhaps, obligated to do something for someone. At the
same time, you are either feeling unappreciated for your efforts, or you feel in some
way that your efforts are in vain. I would suggest that you keep on with the
meditation until you can clarify some of the points in it. (Peggy: What was the tree?)
The tree, in any meditation or any dream, is always symbolic of man’s
reaching towards God, an aspiration of growing towards the spiritual source.

Larry: I’m Larry. It’s very easy for me to follow the instructions, especially since
I grew up on a site like this. My problem has always been that I associate with something
familiar from the past. In this particular case, I hadn’t thought of it for many years. At the
age of around 13 to 14, way out in what we call the “sticks”, we lived in a home that was
one of the plantation log homes that was added on as the family increased.
It was the Holt place, about 10 years old at the time. There was a very large stone
fireplace that would heat the house and in which most of the cooking was done. This well
was out in front of the home about 200 feet from the corner of the porch. The yard, itself,
with its big wood pile, (and we always had to cut with a hand saw and axes and bring in
the wood) was close to the well.
The chickens ran freely in the yard and had picked all the grass. This was in the
summertime toward fall. The well was hand dug and lined with stone. You had your
choice. Either you hand pumped, or opened up a couple of boards and dropped down a tin
bucket on a rope. There was always a rusty dipper, and the bucket was always rusty. The
water was used for drinking, washing clothes, taking baths. The bucket was used until it
was completely worn out. The same bucket was used for drinking and you could use the
dipper right there.
The water was usually cool. The boards were rough cut and old. I’ve been around
so many wells as a kid. Some were very dangerous. Some were with homes that burned
and had been abandoned. Sometimes somebody would fall into one, and sometimes you
lose either dogs or cows.
I kept juggling around. Do I want to keep with this same well or go to one of
these others that was so dangerous that I knew where it was? One night I almost fell in
myself during a possum hunt. I kept coming back to the same well, and I could see the
Holts, about the third generation living there. About the fourth generation was living
down about a quarter of a mile in a one-room rough wooded home with an upstairs in it. I
could still see the Holts there, my father, my mother, my brother, a couple of brothers and
a sister. They always went back to about their ages of about that time.
Something was impressed on me. I kept going to that well to see what I wanted to
do there. Was I to clear out the frogs or the water moccasins or what I wanted to do with
it. I didn’t need a drink. I didn’t need it for washing clothes, and I didn’t need a bath. I
kept thinking of frogs and crawdads. I knew they were there, but they didn’t bother me.
So, looking the grounds over, the dirt itself without the grass or weeds, was very clear. I
could see the fields and the cows close by. I went back and was looking at the fireplace,
and I said, “Oh, my! Well this is where I came in. This is where I leave.”
Now that was actually what happened when I was about 13. But I had other wells
that I could have went to, but I just kept eliminating and always came back to the same
one. There were people, too. There was a girl three or four years older than I was. Her
eyes were crossed, and at that time if anybody had something wrong with them,
everybody talked to their backs. She was very cross-eyed. I mean it was so cross-eyed I
don’t see how she could even walk down the street. Now I could see her. Her eyes and
her face were plain. She had a very clean dress on as if she were going to church.

Sheariam: Very well. It was no accident that you should go back to something
that is buried or has resided in your memory for many years. This is indicative of
the fact that you are currently working with problems that stem from many years
ago. In the way that you kept being drawn back to the same location, you can find
out what it is that began the problems you are now working on.
I would believe that these problems are your physical problems, although
you gave no evidence in your meditation recital that this is so. The young girl in
your meditation is representative of the female side of your own nature. So, the
source of these problems has something to do with your receptive capacity as though
at some time in the distant past you have had an opportunity that you did not
accept, that you rejected.
Perhaps you remember this particular girl because of the crossed eyes which
would indicate that your rejection was founded upon confusion rather than outright
hostility. But you will have to continue to work with this if you are to find the source
of your current discomfort. It is a matter of choice whether you do so or not. There
is certainly nothing mandatory about it. You may, of course, receive healing now
even though you may have rejected it in some time gone by.

Owen: I’m Owen. I did try to follow the instructions, but a little bit like Larry, I
was thinking of a well that I had used when I was at lookout, surrounded by woods. I
thought that was probably not the kind of well I’m supposed to pick up in meditation, not
a well that I’m familiar with. So, I didn’t use that well.
Finally, a well came to me that was located under a large pepper tree in a very dry
climate such as in an interior valley of California somewhere. I saw a number of people,
somewhere between three and six people, around the well. This also was a well that was
surrounded by rock. I waited my turn and then dropped the bucket into the well and got
water. It was clean and sparkling.
I drank of the water. It was very refreshing. I didn’t notice anything particularly
about any of the people. I walked away from the well and then turned and looked back.
There were other people, still about the same number, three to five, either using the well
or waiting their turn. I felt I may have been doing more fantasizing than meditating.

Sheariam:It matters not whether it is fantasy or a gift during meditation. The
mind is going to operate to reveal its secrets. It would have been well if you had
explored the very first well that came to mind. However, the well that you chose
establishes the fact that you regard your life now as being orderly. You waited your
turn.
You first stated that there were three or six people at the well. This again is
an example of orderliness, and also that of balance. Three has the meaning of
balance. Six represents two threes and thus reflection. So, you are in a period of
your life in which you are reflecting upon it to determine certain things for yourself.
The fact that you took a drink and found it refreshing is an example, or reveals that
your reflections are serving the purpose for which you are doing the reflecting. This
is evidently a period of spiritual growth in your life.

Reta Mae: I’m Reta, and I took some notes on mine. I arrived at the well
which was an old-fashioned community-type well. There were many people at the well.
Everyone from the Saturday night group was there including Gloria, and each one was
taking a turn getting buckets of water.
I drew my bucket of water, and I started to drink from the bucket. I realized it was
not liquid but a glowing energy penetrating within my physical body, engulfing the whole
me with the spiritual light. It was like a mountain-top experience for me. It felt like I am
one with all cosmic force. I am total and complete, a separate creation filled with all the
creative forces of God, the Beingness.
Then at that time I remembered the instruction that we were to look back. I looked
back at the well. There was no well. There were no other people there. Only me alone
with the wonderful spirit life, and of peace, knowing that I am one with all of creation,
part of the whole. I was really on a high. But, they were all gone, and yet in the beginning
they were all there with me, everyone.

Sheariam: That meditation needs little analysis. It is quite self-evident in its
meaning. The one thing upon which I would make comment is that in the beginning,
when your usual companions were present, you were considering your physical
earth life. As you looked back, you were looking back to your spiritual life in which
one is alone in the pathway. (Reta Mae: I was a little bit concerned about that
afterwards. Thank you.)

LaMar: I went into my secret place with my higher self, my guides, and told them
what I wanted to do: to go to the well, to be shown what it was I was to know. And as I
went into my meditation, I had that spreading out feeling that always comes when I have
a deep meditation. And I could see the countryside and well with people standing around,
some of them visiting and talking while others were drawing water. Then I arrived at the
well. I sent the bucket, or whatever it was, down, and when I drew it back up, a baby was
in the bucket. This startled me a little bit. I looked at the baby, held it. Then a lady, name
of Beverly Staehli, who came to my place and saw a film when she was extremely ill,
went to the Philippines and had a healing, stepped forward from the crowd and took the
baby.
Then I drew another bucket of water, and when it came up, it was the clearest
sparkling clear beautiful water that I’d ever seen. I drank freely of this water and
suddenly felt absolutely transparent, very, very full of energy, and extremely happy.
When I left the well, I looked back. The last two meditations I had, while I was
there at the well, there was also a master wearing a white robe. This master I have seen
many, many times, usually in a large hall, when I meditated. He was there at the well. As
I left the well and looked back, the well was no longer there but had turned into a shrine
such as I have seen in the Philippines many, many times. This master in the white robe
was there by the shrine.

Sheariam: Yes, you see your meditation is pointing out to you that your life is
expanding, that you are moving into areas of social experience which are now to be
a part of your life. The fact that the lady who received healing in the Philippines
came to take the baby is representative of the fact that it is time now for someone
else to sponsor the Philippine healers. You have begun this marvelous project, the
baby. You have brought the baby out of the well. But now it is time for someone else
to carry on your work, as you have other things to do for your own personal growth.
And as you looked back, you saw your spiritual life, which is very, very clearly
defined. (LaMar: Thank you very much.) You are welcome.
(Voice: I understand that this lady is in need of surgery again.) Now, it is not
that this particular individual will be the one to take over the work. It is only that
she is symbolical of the one who has familiarity with the work and will take over the
responsibilities of carrying further the new work in this part of the country. (LaMar:
Thank you.)
For those of you who couldn’t get your meditations to materialize, we will
continue with this for a while yet -- even those of you who have had beautiful
meditations. I recommend that you continue working with this, because more will
develop from it.

Bonnie: You mean go into the same meditation again? (Sheriam: Yes, if you
choose to do so.) I was expecting it to somehow relate to what we’ve been studying as
far as the laws and principles. I couldn’t really get the relationship.

Sheariam: It was not intended to tie in specifically with your studies. It was to
demonstrate to you where you are in your life at this time compared to where you
were in a previous meditation. If you will recall, you have done similar exercises in
the past under the tutelage of another.

LaMar: I was most curious about this baby that came up. It seemed like since back
before Christmas, my major meditations with the assignments which Silverthistle gave
me and so forth, there has always been a baby show up. I’m curious to know if that’s…
(Sheariam: But your life is in a cycle of rebirth. Do you not recognize it?) Yes, very
much so.

Larry: I have already completed my assignment. May I do it now? (Sheariam:
Certainly.) I am very familiar with different wells, different types of wells, and I keep
flashing before the different areas, locations, and what impressed me the most, and I
couldn’t pick up any person around me. The ones that did impress me deeply on this trip
was the dark ones, which was at night, which is very dangerous to go anywhere close
because they will cave in.
On about three occasions at night, two of them I knew where they were. One was
a surprise. They came in very strong. There is a darkness. These wells seem to enlarge,
about three or four times larger than they actually are in my memory. The other ones
came in very clear, but they were small. There was no danger to them at all. If you fell in,
or a cave in, a normal person, old or young, could get out. But the other ones, the dark
ones, were the ones that you could be lost for many years or probably never found.
I feel there is a tie in with this darkness and no other people around. There is a
gap in time. If I permitted myself to go into them, it would be a long time before I could
come out. That was my second trip.

Sheariam: Which is evidence that you are not quite ready yet to face what is in
the past that is leading now to your physical disorders. Now this must not be forced,
for, as your mind has told you, it is dangerous. It must be done gently and slowly,
and sought spiritually. It cannot be forced. As I said before, there is no compulsion
for you to research the past. You can be healed without knowing where the disease
came from. (Larry: Thank you.)

***Sheariam: Shall we then move on to our laws? We are going to continue with the
Law of I Am and I Will for a while yet. It is important that you all learn how to
consciously invoke these two laws.
You have been invoking them unconsciously by virtue of the fact that you are
living, sentient beings inhabiting a physical body. This bears witness to the fact that
you are using or invoking these two laws. The point of invoking them consciously is
to give you a greater quantity of life force – more energy.
With this energy, you heal the tissues of your physical body. Then you invoke
the I Will law to do whatever you wish with the physical body. Any time you say, “I
choose”, you are saying “I Will”. Any active verb makes a statement of action. Use
an active verb in place of the word “Will”. (I jump) Very good. Someone else? (I
speak) (I feel. I love. I grow. I expand.)
You see, in your language, the word “will” has the connotation of a future
action. Thus, you must come to understand that the Law of I Will is not future. It is
now. It is “I do”, not “I will do at some future time.”
I Am. Now I Am. Now I Do. I Do Now. Any time that you make a statement
of action, you are invoking the Law of I Will. Anytime that you make a statement of
condition, you are invoking the Law of I Am.
“I am well” is a statement of condition. So you see how you have been
invoking the laws all the time, all your life. This is not anything new. What is new,
perhaps, is that there are other ways of invoking the law that give you more power,
more control over your own lives. We want you to be completely whole. We want to
find no disease in any of your bodies. Your bodies are dis-eased because you have
invoked the laws improperly due to lack of awareness. You have accepted
conditioning from parents, from teachers, from friends, from news media, the
printed word, the spoken word. You accept ideas by implication.
We have talked about how to use the words. You do not say, “I am tired.”
What you are saying, then, is that you feel fatigue existing in the body, possibly even
in the mental and emotional bodies as well as in the physical body. That is perfectly
legitimate. But as soon as you say, “I am tired”, you create disease in your body.
Think, then, by extension, how much more harm you do to yourselves when you say
all the other things about “I am.”

Owen: Such as “I am angry”? (Sheariam: Exactly. Now cancel that. You have
just made an affirmation.) I am happy and peaceful. (Another: I am content.)
Myra: What if you have a big problem that can’t be resolved? (Such as?) I have
a situation in our home which causes me a lot of distress because of this girl that lives
here requiring more energy than I choose to give her. I’m trying to say, “Hey, this isn’t
fair. I need my needs met, too.” But I’ve gotten angry about it. I mean I have felt
irritation. (That is perfectly legitimate.) I got mad about it. I squawked at her, see?
(That’s fine. But do not say, “I am mad”, or “I am angry”.) I told her that I have a
problem that I have to resolve. (That is legitimate.) I’ve been doing it right then?

Sheariam:Yes. The point is to watch how you form your sentences. Because you
are creative beings. You invoke the law every time you speak the words.

Myra: Ok, now when I said, “I have a problem,”, that’s acknowledging a fact,
and it’s not creating more of a problem. (Sheariam: That’s correct.)

Eileen: Would it be all right to say, “I feel angry”? (Sheriam: Absolutely
correct.

LaMar: How about if you say, “I am not angry”? (Sheariam: That is improper
invocation.

Maxine: There are many times when we need to let our feelings be known.

Sheariam:Absolutely true. There is such a thing as just anger. If anger were
improper to you, you would not have it. It is by way of alerting you to certain
conditions in your life. Now, you must be aware that the conditions in your life are
created by your response mechanisms. You do create each and every condition in
your life. But it is by reaction, response, to what is coming to you from other people
in the environment around you. (Myra: Would you say that again?)
You create each and every condition in your life because of reaction,
response, to what is coming at you from other people, to environmental situations. It
is in your power to respond properly.

Maxine: I have a problem. I wish to respond properly. But if there is a situation that
distresses me, I need to let that be known. (Sheariam: That is correct. Then you say,
“I feel distressed.” Not “I am distressed.”)

Ida: For a month I’ve been feeling extremely tired. How do I talk myself out of
that?

Sheariam: You call upon the fiery heat, the energy of Khamael. You call upon
the strength of Gabriel. You apply the capacity of Disciplined Forcefulness. You
work with the Principle of Divine Fire, of the Radiant Energy. (Voice: I do that every
morning.) And in between, I hope?
What I am trying to impress upon you is the way you construct your
thoughts. Your thoughts are creations. When you say, even in thought, “I am”
something or other, you are invoking the law. You are declaring a thing into being.
Now, to say “I feel” something, you are working with an attribute, a capacity.
As we go through the remaining seven laws, we are going to begin creating
something. But I do not wish to begin that tonight. (Bonnie: Something as a group?)
Each of you as an individual.
It is essential that you develop proper control over your thought processes in
regard to the primary two laws. You must establish new habit patterns if necessary,
that you use the words “I am” and “I will” properly. What we are teaching you has
great power in it, and we must be sure that you are equipped to handle that power.

Myra; Sheariam, supposing that you recognize that you just goofed like I did that
night. I came home after a long hard day and felt really exhausted. So, I just blabbed it
out. “Boy, I’m sure….” Then I thought, “Oh gosh, I wish I hadn’t said it, but I did.” How
do you get it back?

Sheariam: I deny that thought life. Affirm that: “I deny that thought life.” You
have the right to deny life to any of your creations, but you must be as explicit and
as powerful in your denial as you are in your affirmation.

Bonnie: Before this I don’t recall our talking about that power, that intensity, that
we obviously have to use when we are invoking certain... (Sheariam: because, first of
all, we had to bring you to an awareness of how you are invoking the laws.) I’ve
been under a lot of stress this week wondering how to resolve a relationship. It seems like
I just can’t seem to get any answer, and I’ve tried to let it go because it doesn’t seem like
I’m going to get any answers right now. I’m wondering if you could help me with that.

Sheariam: This is, in a way, jumping ahead, and yet you already had a lesson on
Relinquishment. Now, when you invoke the Law of Relinquishment, you are
completing a cycle, and you are returning to the Law of I Am. When you relinquish,
you affirm, “I am free.”
As we work with these Laws, these Principles, these Attributes, you are going
to begin to see them in a similar pattern to that of the pictures of your genetic codes.
Science has provided you with graphic illustrations of the way they see what they
call DNA. It’s a spiral rope with what looks like beads on a string. These strands are
woven together. Do you understand what I am referring to? You are going to find
these laws strung on a string that way, and repeated, and repeated, and repeated.
Now we have not given you all of the strands, but we have given you the
central core, the three central strands. Now realize that these strands, containing the
beads of the Laws and the Principles and the Capacities, reside within the All, reside
within the Germ Cells at the point of beginning, at the Point of Omega. Similar to
the way in which your own genetic code is passed on to your children, so these
strands are passed on to all creation.
But you cannot possibly absorb it all at one time. We must go slowly. You
must understand each step of the way. You would not put a stick of dynamite in an
infant’s hand, then light it. You are creators. It is important that you learn to create
in awareness if man is not to go back to the state of Adam and Eve and start all
over.
Now do continue to work with the Laws. Be aware of what you say and how
you say it. In any way that will help you to keep track, do what it is that you have to
do, whether it is to keep a journal, to share it with someone near to you, or
whatever. But until we have the confidence that you are working with these Laws
and a high percentage of awareness, we cannot go on.(Eileen: Do you recommend
the journal idea?)
For people in the physical, it is a most excellent tool. It need not be detailed.
Do not make it a wearisome task. But when you become aware of improper
invocation, take a note of it, and immediately make your denials. Each time you
make a note of it, your awareness will expand. You will become more aware, and
more aware of what you are saying and what you are thinking. (Eileen: There are
times when we will say something, and we are thinking something else, and we don’t say
what we mean.)
The thought has precedence. (But our words still have effect, don’t they?)
Absolutely. Your words create. (If you say something in order not to hurt a person’s
feelings, you might be thinking rather a dark thought about them, and you’re not
expressing it.) Be careful what form the thought takes, because thoughts have
substance. They have form. They have power.
Peggy: Is it all right to say, when you have a thought like that about somebody
that disagrees with what you know to be true, to say, “They are a child of God”, and they
will make that thought known to themselves? (Sheariam: You are making that
affirmation to yourself, yes.) So that you don’t take that on to yourself, because you get,
you form opinions, and it’s something that you have no right to do?

Sheariam: Remember that we are specifically now working on the Law of I Am
and the Law of I Will. We will get to these other thoughts in time. But these are the
two critical laws that you must become aware of how you use them.

Larry: Most conversations start out with a question. When you are trying to talk
to someone, you ask them a question to get them to respond. In fact, 80% of the time it’s
in a question form to carry on a conversation. How can you control or insert in your
questions “I Will” or “I am”?

Sheariam:You do not. You are not responsible when you ask someone, “How are
you?”, if that person answers “I am (a negative).” You are not responsible. The limit
of your responsibility extends to yourself.

Myra: If someone asks me that, I would say, “I am beautiful.” I was just kidding!

Sheariam: That is the way you should respond. It seems as though one is
practicing a shallow habit to say, “Oh, I am fine.” But that is a splendid response.

Richard: I understand that it’s good to say this even though at that time you may not
feel that good.

Sheariam: Precisely. Because you are affirming your spiritual perfection, and it
is the body which reflects the thought patterns. When you change the thought
pattern, the body changes in response.

Myra: Supposing someone begins to give you an organ recital, and you’d really
rather not discuss it. How would you get them to stop doing that?

Sheariam: Be perfectly frank. That does not agree with your philosophy, or
however you would like to state it. (Discussion cleared up “organ recital”: stomach,
back, etc.) You can always remind them that as a spiritual being, they are of a
perfect pattern. (Maxine: As a spiritual being, you are perfect.) Yes.
Each individual has his own method for meeting environment circumstances.
The main issue here is that you do not take that negative into yourself and accept it
as being the truth.

Maxine: I find myself letting things build up. I don’t say anything, and then they
build up until I explode. I need to let off the steam to deal with it as it goes along. I need
to find a new way to cope with the situation.

Myra: You have to be sure that the person doesn’t blow up in front of you and
say, “Well, this is the way I feel, and I’m sorry that you don’t feel that way.” I’m sorry. I
have strong feelings about a situation.

Sheariam: You can always say, “That’s fine. I respect your feelings. Very well,
shall we have our healing?

Myra: It is encouraging to know that there is help right there.
LaMar: All of this material is very exciting to me.

Sheariam: It is exciting to us that you are excited about it.
Now let us tonight work with the ball of energy between the palms as we have
done before. Extend your hands before, placing them in inch apart, then slowly
rotate them until you begin to feel the energy build. As you do this, allow your
bodies to relax. Breathe deeply, regularly.
As the energy builds between the palms of your hands, allow your hands to
move farther apart until there is about five or six inches between them. Then as the
energy builds, let your exhalations blow gently upon that ball of energy. Remember
the exercise we did on the inhalation and exhalation. Know that the very essence of
your own personal energy, the love that you hold for your fellow man, is going into
that ball of energy with the very breath of your body. You inhale God’s breath, and
you exhale God’s love.
Open your eyes and look at the ball of energy. You should be able to see it to
some extent. It should be sparkly, greens and blues, and roses. Enjoy that color. Just
sort of roll the ball back and forth in your palms, and enjoy the sparkling
evanescent color.
Now gently, gently, blow the ball of energy like a bubble so that it joins all
the other balls of energy in the middle of the room. Just open your hands. Gently
blow the ball of energy. That’s it. Now let your hands rest, palms upward, on your
laps. Just regard that ball of energy, evanescent, moving, powerful. Just think of all
the healing energy that rests within that sphere.
Now each one of you is going to partake of that ball of energy. You are going
to extend your toes out towards it, and draw the energy into your bodies through
your toes. Feel it as it comes into your feet and rises up your legs. Your legs tingle,
become warm. It rises up to your abdomen, and you feel a thrill of joy. There is an
excitement that builds within you as the energy rises up.
As it moves through your body, it cleanses all of the tissues. Any organ that is
out of order is energized and brought back into balance. Where there is excessive
fluids in the tissues, the energy absorbs them and the body is free. Where an organ
is weak in energy, the healing energy deposits a residue and builds up the battery of
the body.
Then the energy rises up through the chest cavity, up through the throat and
into the head area. It heals the very thoughts by healing the neurons, the nerve
fibers, the brain cells. It makes the organs of application of thought lighter, perfect.
Now with each exhalation, allow the energy to return to the center of the
room again. Your body is cleansed, energized, healed. You return the energy to the
center ball again. Now from this very healing center send out the words, call those
for whom you have concern. Bring them in to enjoy this healing comfort. (Many
names spoken.)
Now be at rest. Be at peace. Feel the energy expanding into every corner of
the room. It not only has circulated through your bodies, it now enwraps your
bodies and permeates your subtle bodies. Even as the physical body was cleansed,
energized, and healed, so are your mental, emotional and spiritual bodies all
cleansed, energized and healed.
So it is also with the loved ones. As the energy spreads, and as it is shared, it
does not diminish but grows in power. As the power increases, no longer can the
room contain this energy. It must escape. It must spread out through the
neighborhood, out into the town, and on and on and on, taking the cleansing, the
energizing, the healing action into all corners of the world.
So we bless our efforts here this night, and we release our loved ones to
return to themselves. We rejoice in the blessing received. And so it is done. My
blessings go with you. All in the temple send their blessings to you. Go in peace until
we meet again. And so I bid you good night.

Closed with singing “Let there be peace on earth.”
