Session #39 – November 3, 1984
Gloria’s Circle
Present: Jean Chisholm, LaMar and RetaMae Bell, Richard and Mary White, Larry
and Eileen Horton, Owen and Maxine Cramer, Bonnie Wisz, Peggy
Muldoon, Ida Nevala, Myra Perala.
(This is the first session since May and the first held at Cramers’.)
Silverthistle: I come not this night to deliver a story but to bid you greetings and
welcome. I look forward to working with you again on another project. (Bonnie:
What would that be?) The collection of my stories. I will not stay, but take my
departure in order that another may come. Know that I love you all. My blessings
and Good night.
Sheariam: Good evening, students and friends. Welcome back to our studies. Do
we have anything to speak of? How have you been doing with your mantras? Have
you manifest your project?
Owen: I feel that the “gobase” mantra with the invocation of the archangels has
been a help (with book sales) because I have been better received when I did that in
preparation for my visit.
Sheariam: Did you all come tonight unprepared? Who can recall what we spoke
of last?... Judith is going to be quite unhappy with you... So you have not done any
studying during your vacations... How can we serve you if you do not serve
yourselves? (Owen: I’m afraid we’re used to going to school where the teacher prods us
every so often. That seems to get more results.)
Growth is a do-it-yourself project. We do not grow you. We attempt to give
you the tools by which you can do a better job. (Bonnie: I understood that we were
missing a real important part of calling on the archangels.) You were admonished to
review the materials given previously. We do not wish to use the precious time to
repeat when all you have to do is go back. But it would appear, if we are to
accomplish anything this night, we must again review. Do you even understand the
meaning of the archangels?
Myra: Each one of them has to do with a particular aspect of the Divine.
(Correct.) When we call upon the archangels, we are calling upon the powers in the
particular aspect or specialty of the particular archangel. (That is precisely correct.)
(Some reports of how archangels have been called upon.)
Sheariam: Are you using affirmations as you call upon the archangel’s name?
(Owen: Such as “Khamael, I am a meditator. Gabriel, I will be in touch with my guides.
Haniel, I have abundance.” That type of affirmation?) That is a good start. (Bonnie: I’m
never sure what kind of affirmation to use with one of the other archangels.) That
perhaps is a good thing for us to work upon this night.
As given before, the affirmation should in some way make a statement
incorporating the law, giving some reference to the attributes or principles as well as
the mundane purpose for which you invoke. It should be based upon the law. Let us
take one of the archangels and work out an affirmation. Which one would you
choose? (Ratziel suggested) Does everyone know what the Law is? (The Law of
Ideation. Attribute: Wisdom. Principle: Migration.)
What kind of circumstances would you then invoke Ratziel for? (Creative
ideas, when you’re confused and you’d like insight. If you’re trying to plan a project,
making choices, healing.) Yes, healing. And why?
Myra: Because illness comes from wrong ideas.
Owen: Good health comes from the firm idea of perfect health.
Sheariam: And in the principle of Migration, do you recall what was taught?
(That which goes around comes around to the right place at the right time.) That’s it. Is
that not wisdom? So then, if you were to prepare an affirmation to assist in the
dissemination of your book, what would you say?
Peggy: It reaches the right hands. (That is the idea.)
Eileen: Ask for guidance how to reach the people who are receptive. (Remember,
we are making affirmations, not petitions. You are invoking power.)
Peggy: God meets all our needs. Could that fit in there? (Not precisely. Rather
too broad.)
Owen: The book has great appeal. (Remember, I said to incorporate the Law,
the Attribute and the Principle, or at least one of the latter two.)
Jean: I am in the right place at the right time to delight someone with the book.
(You are getting there.) (Inaudible comment.) (I have not heard the Law invoked.)
Bonnie: Would this start also with “I”? (Not necessarily. Try “Divine Idea”.)
Myra: The Eight Keys to Cosmic Consciousness is Divine Idea which is in the
right place at the right time for Wisdom for all. (Rather the cart before the horse.)
(Several suggestions). (You still do not understand the Law.)
Eileen: The Divine Idea is that our book is in the right place at the right time.
(There! Say that again please.) The Divine Idea is that our book be in the right place at
the right time in the right condition to appeal to many people. Try to incorporate
“wisdom” into the statement.)
Maxine: Divine Idea is that our book be in the right place at the right time for those
to receive good who will read it. (That is good.)
Owen: Turning it around: The Divine Idea leads those seeking wisdom to the
“Eight Keys” or to the right place at the right time to find the “Eight Keys.” (Very good.)
Myra: (Not understandable.) (That’s the idea. Simplify.)
Eileen: The Divine Idea leads those seeking wisdom to our book, the Eight Keys
to Cosmic Consciousness. It would be in the right place at the right time if they found the
book. (Could you not say “The Divine Idea brings the wisdom seeker and the book
together”? (Agreement.) Should we name the book? (Yes.) If affirmations are short, are
they more effective than if they are too rambling? (Of course, because your
consciousness can deal with them more effectively.)
Jean: Should the idea of the light or joy be incorporated some way, or does the
name do that? (The name does that. The article “the” is not necessary. )
Sheariam: Now that you have established that, let us establish the conventions of
the affirmations that go with the first two, and we will perform those in group. Let
us have an “I Am”. (I am strong) Strength goes with Gabriel. What is the Attribute?
(Disciplined Forcefulness.) Perhaps you would rather use the Principle. Who recalls
the one I gave you?
Owen: Feel the Divine Fire within. (Those were instructions, not the
affirmation.)
Myra: I remember you saying, I am Divine.” (The affirmation suggested here
“I am eternal” is an excellent one. It causes the consciousness to be acutely aware
that all life stems from the Divine Principle, from the Divine Eternal Fire. Let us use
that one then. And now prepare one for “I Will”.)
Jean: I will endure. (That sounds good. (Unintelligible discussion and
suggestions.) Remember in this instance, the verb “will” is not the same “will” that
you use in your daily language.)
Owen: We use it in terms of willing something to occur. Is that correct? (That is
correct.)
Eileen: I will radiant energy enter my body. (Remember, you are preparing an
affirmation having to do with the dissemination of the book.)
Bonnie: I will attraction. (You do not need to use the name of the book in this
affirmation.)
Owen: I was using something to the effect “I will a favorable reception” when I
was taking the book to book stores.
LaMar: How about desire?
Sheariam: There is a very simple one that says it all. “I will Divine Will.” It gives
you a perfect affirmation to use with Gabriel regardless of what your invocation is
for, as does the affirmation “I am eternal life.”.
Now read again the affirmation you prepared for Ratziel, and we will do the
invocation. But refresh your memories first. (Voice: The Divine Idea brings the
wisdom seekers and the book together.) Agree on how you are going to say it. (Agreed
on “The Divine Idea brings wisdom seekers and the book, Eight Keys to Cosmic
Consciousness together.) You should preface the title with “the book”.
Then you must decide how you shall conclude you invocation. You have to
put your seal on it, so to speak. In the Christian tradition, the word “Amen” serves
that purpose. In other traditions, “It is so”, “So be it”. (Agreed on “So be it.”) Now, if
you are ready, we shall do the invocation.
We shall say the name of the archangel three times, followed by the
affirmation once. After saying the archangel’s name three times, we will stop a
moment and allow your consciousness to meet the consciousness you have invoked.
Then out of that meeting of consciousness, you make the affirmation. Do you
understand?
You will use all three affirmations, each following the invocation of the
archangel’s name three times. (Mary: Do we start with “A-U-M”?) That is not
necessary when you are invoking the archangels.
Are you ready, then, to practice the invocation? Together then: (Slowly)
Khamael, Khamael, Khamael. (Pause) I am eternal life. (Pause) Gabriel, Gabriel,
Gabriel. (Pause) I will Divine Will. (Pause) Ratziel, Ratziel, Ratziel. (Pause) Divine
Idea brings wisdom seekers and the book, Eight Keys to Cosmic Consciousness
together. (Pause) So be it.
Now you have created a vast vortex of energy. If each of you will incorporate
this invocation into your daily meditation or contemplate, you will move your book
along, to get it into the hands of those to whom it belongs. (Thank you. That’s a big
help.) Now, for personal concerns, you can follow the same procedure, keeping your
affirmations short, to the point.
Richard: These affirmations we use for the book we could use for our own
purposes? (For anything. That is lesson enough for tonight. Do you have personal
concerns about which we may speak?)
I don’t have personal concerns, but I want to give my thanks to you people on the
other side for what you’ve done to improve my physical well-being. (We all love you.)
Myra: We thank you, too. (We are pleased with the efforts also.)
Peggy: What is a good affirmation for justice? (Would you like to propose an
affirmation? (Some inaudible suggestions.) (What is the Law?) (Law of Harmony.)
(Begin your affirmation with “Divine Harmony”. Two words would suffice.)
(Suggested: Divine Harmony reveals truth.) (You are stating a fact in an affirmation.
You are not saying, “Please, Divine Harmony, reveal truth.”)
Eileen: Now if this affirmation is being made for some particular person or
yourself, should that be specified in the affirmation? (It might be.)
Myra: In other words, a person who needs justice could say “Divine Harmony
reveals truth to such-and-such”. Is that what you mean? (Or about a situation, or “to
me”.)
Eileen: We should be specific about who you are directing this to? (When you
have a burden on your heart, Divine Knowingness knows. You do not have to tell
God.) If you’re making an affirmation for another person, you don’t need to mention that
because it’s understood.
Sheariam: Yes. If your consciousness responds better to being specific in your
affirmation, you can follow the completion of the affirmation by the statement, “I
invoke this in behalf of...” Either yourself or the other person or the situation,
whatever applies.
Owen: Are there limitations beyond which we should not invoke for anyone else?
It seems to me that you had instructed us before that we could only invoke for ourselves.
(The same limitations apply to the invocation as apply to the healing or the help.
You do not give until you are asked.)
Myra: I suppose that would apply in the realm of politics too then? (Inasmuch as
you are a citizen of your nation and political events affect your personal life, you
may use the invocation for the best interests of your nation and yourself.
Voice: Maybe you can tell us who will win the election. (Do you have doubts?)
Is that the best person for our country? (As the future is shapened, it does not seem at
this time to make much difference who the leader may be, since the leader, as an
individual, does not have that much power.)
Owen: Are you implying that there are unseen power groups in the physical that
are having the greatest influence on the way the country goes? (Not only in the physical,
but in the invisible as well.)
Maxine: Is there something that has been set in motion in the past? (Everything in
your present comes from the past. Everything in the future comes from the present
as well as the past.)
Myra: So we can influence the future? (Of course.)
Owen: The unseen power that influences the nation, does this imply that that is a
positive power? (Not in all instances. If you will review that last lesson I gave you, I
explained to you how manifestation comes forth as Thought joins Spirit.)
Peggy: Would it be good to say “the right person will be the leader of our country
that will be the best for all people”? (That would do no harm.)
Myra: Which archangel would you recommend we invoke toward the election, or
would there be one? (There are any number, in fact all apply.) (Pause) (If we cannot
serve you further, we shall go to our meditation.) I wonder, Sheariam, if there is
anything you feel would be beneficial for us in the way of guidance that you could say to
us. (Study what has been given.)
Jean: Could we do an affirmation for the Law of Reproduction for growing new
tissues for healing. (You wish to prepare one?) I would like to. (Very well.) I don’t
know how to start it. (Inaudible comments.) Would that be it? Divine Thought heals?
(What is your Law?) Divine Reproduction. (Go ahead. Use the Attribute. Make it an
adverb.)
RetaMae: Jean, did you want a specific new tissue?
Jean: I was thinking particularly about Maxine. (More discussion. Suggested:
Divine Reproduction lovingly heals.)
LaMar: Should this include Maxine’s name if Maxine hasn’t asked for healing?
Maxine: Oh, I ask! I want your help.
Larry: I move that we all concentrate this on one person tonight: Maxine.
Sheariam: Shall we then invoke the powers?
Khamael, Khamael, Khamael (Pause.) I am Eternal Life.
Gabriel, Gabriel, Gabriel (Pause) I will Divine Will.
Tzadkiel, Tzadkiel, Tzadkiel (Pause) Divine reproduction lovingly heals
Maxine. (Pause) So be it.
Maxine: Thank you.
Bonnie: I have one question for personal help. I’ve been shown a golden sundial in
my last two meditations. What would be their significance? (Timeliness. Meeting of
commitments. You have an appointment with destiny.) I just got the impression to get
on with it.
Sheariam: Shall we then have our meditation?
Be aware as you relax your bodies that other members of the temple are here
with you this night. Your teachers have gathered to bless you. The healers have
come to serve you. Because of the long separation, we will not ask you to generate
energy yourselves tonight. But rather the members of the temple are preparing the
energy for you. As they stand behind you and direct the energy towards you, you
will feel the energy passing into you through the back of your head, the back of your
neck and your shoulders.
Breathe deeply. Even as the oxygen of your breath purifies your blood
stream, it also assists in carrying this healing energy along the meridians of your
energy system, bringing purification, taking out the toxins and the waste even as the
oxygen purifies the blood.
As the energy passes into you, you may feel some warmth or some other
physical sensation. Allow that to move throughout your body, clear down to your
toes. As this supply is constant, you may allow the energy to pour out of your toes
and mingle in the center of the room. As the energy passes from your body, carrying
away the negatives, the temple healers transmute those negatives into positive. Thus
the healing energy is again pure healing energy in your midst. Take a moment to
enjoy this purification.
Now as these golden healing energies enter your body, they become
humanized earthly energy, so that when they pass from your body, they are in the
spectrum green. So as this energy pours through you, a great pond of green healing
energy forms in your midst. Even as you partake of this healing energy for
yourselves, you may invite your loved ones to join you.
As the consciousnesses of those whom you have invited join us in the circle,
the healers cause the green energy to form into a fountain. As these healing energies
circulate, everyone takes benefit from them, not only you in the physical, but those
in the Spirit-physical who have been invited by the temple people. If you open your
awareness you will know the great congregation that has come to join with you this
night.
Everyone is so delighted with the reunion of your energies that the message
goes forth, and in joy and song others continue to come. And so the healers increase
the energy flow. Now if you will use your thoughts to direct this energy flow
outward from you, you will assist the healers by sending this energy around the
globe to become available to any who would partake of it. And in the way that the
physical realm causes water to rise from the earth to reside in the sky, to be carried
elsewhere and be returned to the earth, so these healing energies are taken up and
spread around the earth, and again released.
And as you assist with your thought, you bring comfort and peace and
spiritual sustenance to those in the troubled lands around the globe. As you do this,
you, too, are blessed.
And now release your loved ones to return to themselves. Express within
yourself your gratitude to the healers. Know that as you go your separate ways, you
carry their blessing with you. Take with you this healing. Be happy until we meet
again. You may end your meditation with song. Good night.
