Session #44 – February 16, 1985
Gloria’s Circle
Present: Peggy Muldoon, Bonnie Wisz, Jean Chisholm, Ida Nevala, Myra Perala,
Richard and Mary White, Owen and Maxine Cramer
Silverthistle: Good evening. Blessings to all. We thank you for the pillow for the
head. (Gloria’s head had leaned to the side and back, and she looked uncomfortable so a
pillow was supplied.) I have missed that. I came not to deliver a story this night but
rather merely to greet you. It would seem that energies are such that my efforts in
the stories must be postponed for a while. (Speaking slowly and with considerable
effort.) But I do not forget you. My love and thoughts are with you often.
Owen: Does this mean that there is the possibility of a direct automatic writing
with Gloria on her typewriter taking the stories from you? Is that out for the time being
also?
Silverthistle: It is not “out” as you say. It shall depend upon the channel’s energy.
But that same energy as well as those that must go into making the information
available to all must be considered. The council now feels that most effort must be
directed to the teachings of Judith and Sheariam. Time grows short for the work
that must be done, and our best efforts to help you cooperate with your time is to be
more focused.
Richard: Why do you say, “time grows short”? Is this our time or your time? (Your
time.) Why is this? Won’t we continue with our circle? (For a while, yes.) What is the
limiting factor, then? Are you at liberty to tell us this? (Best put, perhaps would be
world events, for that is what it will seem to you.)
Mary: Will it seem disastrous to us? (To some.)
Owen: Could you give some closer estimate on how “short”? (I am not at
liberty, as that depends upon consciousness, as Sheariam has been trying to teach.)
Maxine: Does this depend upon our consciousness or on the world’s
consciousness? (The world consciousness is comprised of all consciousnesses which
go to make it up.)
Mary: Are there any instructions that you could give us beyond studying the
material that has been given us so far? (This was my intent with my stories, but it is
not possible under developing circumstances.)
Owen: Does this put our plans for an open meeting on March 30th in a different
light, or may we continue with that? (You may continue with that.)
Bonnie: Is there any program specifically set up for that evening yet, like a theme?
(It would be best to ask Sheariam that. I must not linger, so I bid you go with my
love. Good night.) (Many “thank you’s” and expressions of gratitude for the teaching.)
Owen: We have greatly appreciated your efforts in teaching us and all of the
wonderful material you have left us to work with. We’ll look forward to getting more and
hope that the time comes when that will be possible.
(Some comments as to “I hate to see him leave.”, and “Do you feel a real sadness?”, etc.)
Sheariam: Good evening students and friends. (Myra: You look healthier than
Silverthistle.) Thank you, I think. (Laugher) You are doing much better are you not?
(Maxine: Yes, I am.) And are you then ready for your lesson upon the Spirit Realm?
Owen: We were reviewing the meditations involving pyramids, as you’re
probably aware. There were several with the three-sided pyramid and one, at least, with a
four-sided pyramid. There seemed to be a difference in the types of energies we’re
subjected to in the different kinds of pyramids. Some had assumed four-sided and some
three-sided pyramids for the white pyramid that we went into along the pathway. Can you
clarify the energy differences between the three and four-sided pyramids?
Sheariam: Yes. The three-sided pyramid is creative and balancing. The four-
sided pyramid is stabilizing and foundational. (And those along the road in the desert,
then?) Can be either, depending upon the need of the meditator. Do experiment. In
your meditation this night we will take you a little farther. But each must progress
according to his need and his understanding. It should be pointed out to you, that
having the meditation as you did prior to this session has made it much easier for
me to come through. It has greatly facilitated the synchronizing of our energies.
Myra: Should we start that way each time? (We would be most appreciative.)
Bonnie: It didn’t seem to help Silverthistle, though. (He is out of practice with
this channel. These two have been working together in another manner.) Have they
started the book together? (In consciousness.)
Sheariam: We have spoken of the process which occurs in the Realm of Spirit to
deliver you into the condition in which you find yourselves now. The blueprints are
blueprints of consciousness. They give rise to the basic ingredients of your world.
The idea behind a star or a planet or any other phenomenon is no longer merely a
simple idea. As the idea moves toward manifestation, it becomes complexified.
Discernible partitions are necessary. And so in the Realm of Spirit all the patterns
for all of the galaxies, for everything that you can imagine, and much that you
cannot imagine, become formulated. We have used the word “blueprint” where
“formula” is a word that would also serve.
As the sedimentary process occurs, certain relationships are formed between
these varying units of complexification. It is not in the Realm of Spirit that a grain
of sand is formed, but the pattern of the entity which will require sand as one of its
particles. The entity is formulated. That entity can be a race of people, a species of
living organism. It can be anything. These conceptualizations then move into the
Realm of Mind where the form is given a specific mold or shape. It is in the Realm
of Mind that choices begin to be made. In the Realm of Spirit the chaos, which is the
word used in your holy scripture to describe this state of being, exists. And out of
that seemingly chaotic disorganization, organization begins to appear.
In the beginning, Silverthistle gave you the words “earth-physical” and
described himself as being “spirit-physical”. This was done advisedly so, for as I
gave, we are still connected more or less directly with the Realm of Spirit. A more
apt terminology for you would have been to call you “mind-physical”. You are more
or less directly connected with the Realm of Mind.
Earth-physical is apt in that portions of your existence and knowledge are
purely earth-physical. They will not, as they exist in earth, return to higher realms.
But as they become transmuted through growth and development of consciousness,
the basic units of which they are comprised shall return to the higher realms, even
as we, who are spirit-physical call you forth from your earthly home, coax you to
look to wider horizons, to set higher, more aspiring goals. So, do you perform this
function for the lower realms of earthly life forms.
As you appreciate the beauty in a grain of sand, you call forth that dormant
consciousness. If you will recall, I gave you that the function of consciousness is to
expand.
Myra: I guess I didn’t understand much of anything you gave us. (We do not
expect instant comprehension. This is, again, a contributing factor to the shortening
of your lessons. To give some space to the ones who must provide you with the
materials to study, and also to reduce the amount of information to be encompassed
at any given time.)
Owen: You mentioned” elements of earth”. Is this fire, water, air and the
elements of the periodic table? (In this reference, the elements of the periodic table,
which is far from complete, you understand.)
Myra: There are more than 114 elements?
Richard: There were 92 when I went to school.
Myra: You are trying to explain to us tonight that in the Realm of Spirit that the
blueprint, the process of going from the idea into manifestation as the process is changing
from the archetype down into a concrete object. Is that what you’re trying to say? (That
is the process which is begun in the Realm of Spirit.) It’s an idea in the Realm of
Spirit, and it becomes more complicated as the idea develops into a concrete form? (It
enters the Realm of Spirit as “idea”. It leaves the Realm of Spirit as a formulated
concept.) And it comes to the Realm of Spirit from the Realm of Universe in the form of
‘idea”? (The analogy to which this channel is sympathetic is the idea “to sit”. That
idea would leave the Realm of Spirit as the formula “chair”.)
Myra: What did you say about choices? In the Realm of Spirit choices begin?
(The option for choice to be made begins in the Realm of Spirit. But no choice can
be made until the Realm of Mind, when the decision must be made as to what shape,
texture, design, the chair will ultimately demonstrate.)
Richard:That takes place in the Realm of Mind? Remember that I told you that
noetic man is formulated in the Realm of Spirit. But man takes many forms in the
Realm of Mind. You represent only one distant manifestation of that formula.)
Myra: And man takes form in the Realm of Mind? (Yes.) But noetic man is
formed in the Realm of Spirit? (Yes.)
Myra: What did you say about the fall of man from grace? (That does not occur
until the Realm of Mind, when choice can be made.)
I’m trying to digest this idea of the process in the Realm of Spirit. That’s the
process of changing from an idea to a more concrete form.
Richard: An idea into a plan or blueprint. (It is a settling out, a sedimentary
process.)
Owen: Would that be similar to a crystallizing process, such as sugar crystals
forming from a solution of sugar? (The action takes place in the Realm of Spirit, but
the manifestation is witnessed in the realm of Mind. We speak of these realms as
being separate, when indeed they are not.)
Bonnie: Something like our subtle bodies? (Yes.)
Myra: So the Realm of Spirit and the Realm of Mind are very much overlapped,
right? (As are all. But it is in the Realm of Spirit that this separateness begins to
appear. In the other realms everything is like an emulsion. It is homogenous and
also homogeneous.)
Jean: I begin to get a picture like in destructive distillation. (But in destructive
distillation you are in some way causing something to disappear from, leaving a
solid. As I tried to explain before, that sediment leaves the solution, but that solution
does not go away. It does not change form. The process of destructive distillation
occurs in lower realms, and we will discuss that later.)
Myra: But in the realms above the Realm of Spirit, everything is homogeneous.
In the Realm of Spirit, the sediment begins to settle out, and the idea begins to become
more concrete as it’s formulated into a more specific criterion. (Now everything in all
realms is homogeneous. You are as your father. You are as that which created you.
Moral issues begin in the Realm of Mind.) That’s where choices are made. (Yes.)
Owen: That’s where religions are born?
Jean: Do moral issues exist before the Realm of Mind? (As all exists.) The
polarity of right and wrong would exist in the Universe, wouldn’t it?
Myra: But the manifestation of it would appear in the Realm of Mind. (In the
idea of noetic man, like the intrinsic proponents of freedom of choice, where there is
freedom of choice, there then are moral issues.)
Richard: One begets the other. (Yes. So long as all is intermingled in all its parts,
there is no choice.) It’s still homogeneous. (Homogenous, since you chose to make
that distinction.)
Jean: I picture a round ball. There is no choice. But the minute it decides to
flatten out, it has top and bottom. So then it has to decide whether to be heads up or tails
up. (That is an excellent similar.)
Richard: It works from a sphere to a coin.
Myra: But that gives the round ball mind, doesn’t it?
Richard: You’re stretching the analogy now, I think.
Sheariam: But it does have mind. So does a grain of sand. Do not lose sight of the
fact that whatever separates itself from another part of itself in the Realm of Spirit,
takes with it the total Nine Components. Relationships change. The relationships
between the Components change. But they all remain present.
Myra: You said “whatever separates itself out from…? (From itself, as
everything is homogenous. All parts are present equally everywhere.) That’s hard for
our logical minds. (But this again is the repetition of the cycle. As The Absolute
separated Itself from Itself to establish the Cosmos, the Divine, there must be
separation of Self from Self in order to objectify.)
Jean: I get a picture now of a whole mess of letters spilled together in The
Absolute. Then as you begin to sort them out, you get more and more meaning. Finally
you get to being able to communicate.
Myra: Would you help me to grasp what you said a minute ago? Whatever
separates itself from itself… the Nine Components are there. But they’re in a more highly
organized fashion as it becomes more manifest in the Realm of Mind?
Sheariam: No. In the Divine Dew Drop, the Nine Components share and share
alike equally. There is little distinction to be made between them in force or power.
But as complexification occurs, each particularate that is separated from the whole
takes with it the Nine Components in each of its units. But the relationships of force
or power become changed, so that Consciousness may have more power than
Volition, or the reverse, or there may be more Quantity than Quality. Or there may
be more Life than Perceiving Mind, etc. (Myra: So, the relationships will change but
they’re all equally there.)
Yes. And as the relationships between the Components change, so does the
power or force or importance of the unit comprised by those Components. As these
relationships change, one part may have more influence over other parts, even as is
manifest in your society where one individual has more social presence or political
influence or financial power. And yet these individuals comprise a group. They are
part of a whole which is part of another whole, which is part of another whole,
which is part of another whole. But each of those wholes has certain powers of
influence.
Jean: Now I get the picture of a big glob of clay. And you take out some and
part of it you make into a flat dish. Another you make into a sieve. Another you make
into a long rope, etc. And each thing has the same Components, but you put more air in
one. You have put more density in another, and you end up with different things. (Very
different functions. Very good.)
Myra: So the idea of the different functions started in the Realm of spirit, and the
process of making those different shapes became the manifestation in the Realm of Mind.
Sheariam: Very good. Do you then have enough to work on? (Some comments
“yes” and “no”.) We will then proceed at the next meeting with the Realm of Mind.
We are gratified with the progress we are making. It would be of great assistance to
you if you comprehended the whole series (of realms) in relationship to each other.
Myra: Could I ask you, please, as a teacher, I have to set my goals as to what I’m
aiming for. Could you give us a picture of generally what is the goal? What you want us
to understand about these different realms? (May I ask you, why do you read your
bible?) For satisfaction, understanding, inspiration. (Understanding of what?) Of what
God has in mind for us.
Sheariam: Now you have answered your own question. As we have said before,
as man understands himself, so he will move upward. You are as said last time, in
revolution, not just evolution. Part of our growth and development is to call you
forth even as I said earlier. Those who inspired the early writing were serving
mankind in the same capacity that we attempt to serve you now. Your early writings
have become distorted, so manipulated and exploited, that you have lost some of the
greater benefits to be derived. We try now to bring some clarity in the hope that this
growth of human consciousness shall not be sacrificed on the altar of stupidity.
Each time a civilization dies and must be then regenerated, there is what is
referred to in your bible as a “backsliding”. There is some growth lost. The
continuity is interrupted. We are working with all of our beingness to save
civilization as it exists now on the planet earth. And though it may seem an
aggrandizement to you, the work you do in this small room makes for untold
resistances to the progress of the powers of destruction.
You go beyond the distance. You actually set up fields of opposition. We
cannot do it for you. Contrary to some of the beliefs extant in your world today, it is
not from our realm that your civilization will be saved, but from yours. (Myra: You
make I sound urgent.) It is urgent. You will not destroy the planet. You cannot
destroy Life, but you can lose the growth of your civilization. Not all. No gain is ever
entirely cancelled. If it is necessary to regenerate man on the face of this earth, the
next Adam and Eve, if you will, will know more than the last pair. I am speaking
allegorically.
Maxine: Is life too easy for man on earth at this time? Do they have so much that
they don’t seek and try to understand? Is that part of the problem of what’s happening
now? (That is not a problem of modern day. That is a constant in human
consciousness.) Then man needs to seek and work for himself rather than have it given to
him. He grows by seeking. (You grow by overcoming resistance.)
Jean: As a plant grows, it grows to its, or wants to grow to its, highest potential.
Corn grows as tall as it can. It doesn’t want to be stunted. You say you are helping us,
and we are striving. What is that force that makes the striving? What is that force that
makes the plant grow to its highest? (The formula developed in the Realm of Spirit.)
Richard: `The question in my mind is “What is the Divine Plan for us here in this
physical realm?” Are we following the plan, or are we going wrong? Is this the normal
way for us to learn? (The plan is not absolute. As you create your life, you also create
the plan.)
Jean: You mean there are no answers in the back of the book? (That is correct.)
Richard: It seems like such a waste for us to have to go from the beginning almost
every time, and then to almost completely destroy everything and have to start out again.
(But nothing is ever truly lost, although civilization may come to an end on this
planet, and man must start again in some primitive state, the growth he has
experienced or accomplished is manifest in other realms, and is not lost in those
realms simply because it may be lost in this manifestation.)
Jean: What keeps it going? (Spirit.)
Richard: Indwelling spirit. Since we are spirit, we do keep going. (Do not forget
the Divine Fire.)
Peggy: We are a part of the almighty I Am.
Richard: But are we learning as fast with all of the backsliding as we could learn if
we didn’t backslide? That is the point. (No. You are not as efficient as you could be.
You are not as efficient as other worlds. But there are other worlds that are not as
efficient as you.) (Laughter.)
My question is, using the grade-school analogy, grades 1, 2, 3, and 4, that we use
in our educational system, we could say we are like a group of fourth graders, and some
other realm might be sixth graders, etc. (But within that group of fourth graders, you
have some who are at the upper end of achievement and some who are at the lower
end of achievement. This is part of the blueprint established in the Realm of Spirit.
Conditions which you seem to think are correctable may be part of the formula.)
Jean: There seems to be so much that is sad and suffering. Could there be a
world without sadness and suffering, or do you have to have sadness and suffering in
order to know how good it feels not to have it and to feel joy? Does there have to be the
contrast? (In this particular manifestation of this particular formula, it must be.)
Richard: In order to learn, this is part of our learning process. Without that we don’t
learn. We have to burn our finger on the stove in order to find out that the stove can burn
and is hot.
Myra: But how do you explain the cancer in little children, like that little three-
year-old whose eyes had to be removed because she had this rare kind of cancer. Where
does that come in? (Because she has in another existence created that for herself.)
Richard: Cause and effect.
Myra: And her parents have a great deal of potential change for them as they go
through this agony. Is that it?
Peggy: They were part of her previous life too. (Not necessarily, but of
circumstances.)
Mary: Would that be true of all the people in Ethiopia? (Those people chose to
be born at this time in that circumstance, because those circumstances deliver to
them those resistances which they must overcome by which growth occurs.) Then
they can grow in that circumstance? (Most assuredly so.)
Richard: Some more, some less, depending on their choices in their response.
Myra: And these individuals who went through the holocaust in Cambodia --
horrible, horrible nightmares they’re experiencing today with high school students in
Portland who’ve had experiences you could not believe. Some are mentally ill because of
it. Here’s an opportunity for them to grow or not grow depending on how they respond to
it. Is that correct? (That is correct.)
Owen: Where does this place the efforts to help these people such as sending
medical aid and food, etc. to these folks who have chosen to incarnate in that specific
circumstance? Is this misplaced effort to help? (Again, we approach the moral issues
which are established by choices in the Realm of Mind.)
Maxine: Help your fellow man.
Richard: It helps us to help others.
Myra: When we care about someone else that is suffering, then we grow too.
Richard: It’s an opportunity for us. Do you agree? (Yes and no. We cannot solve
all of these quandaries for you. We would then be doing the very thing that we
preach against.) Interference. (Precisely.)
Myra: You mean you would be interfering with our right to grow because we
struggle through it? (Exactly. We are striving to give you the basic laws and an
understanding of them so that you can discover for yourselves the requirements,
and then move towards fulfilling those requirements.)
Richard: Just giving us the rules of the game. (Well put.)
Jean: I ask again, what motivates the striving? (The eternality of life, that
connection you have through the Nine Components. You cannot do anything to
destroy any of those components, because in doing so you would be destroying The
Absolute, which is not possible.)
Myra: Are you referring ultimately that there is no way these Nine Components
can be destroyed, but we individuals are murdered, or destruction of endangered species
that are being annihilated, and the plants and the forests that are being destroyed in our
world, the Nine Components are being destroyed within those individual things that die,
aren’t they? (No. You are seeing the end of the physical manifestation of an intention.
But the intention goes on, and it manifests in some other form. As when murder is
committed, all that ceases is the functioning of the physical shell.)
Owen: You mentioned that the work that we do here offers resistance to the
powers of destruction. Could you elaborate on “powers of destruction”? (There are
those in this earthly manifestation whose lust for power knows no bounds, who will
sacrifice any ethic, any possession, any consideration, to satisfy that lust, losing sight
of the fact that when all the Indians are gone, there is nothing for a chief to do.)
Bonnie: We had a question about our fifth Saturday. Will there be a particular
theme or subject matter that will be covered that you have planned? (I have certain
plans, but at this time, they are dependent upon those who will be there.)
Myra: Would you recommend that we limit the number of people who come?
(Only logistically.) And what about the individuals we invite. Do you have a particular
kind of mind set that you’re looking for especially, or just basic interest on their part?
(Sincerity. We have clearly stated our goals. You have the good sense to
accommodate us in that respect. We trust you.)
Sheariam: So now when you are ready, settle your bodies comfortably. Breathe
deeply and relax. In the first part of our meditation, I ask you to join me on that
infinite road which we walked together towards the pyramids. But tarry a while
with me on the road. Do not rush to the pyramid.
As you move along the road, look to your right, look to your left. Let your
eyes search out a glimpse of brilliance. For somewhere beside that road lies a
precious gem which is for you and you alone. You will be given instructions later
how to use that gem. We will give you a few moments of silence now, to look, to find,
and to claim.
When you have found your gem, hold it gently in your hand. Examine it
closely with your eyes. Feel its weight. Enjoy its brilliance. And try to become aware
of the subtle vibrational emissions from the stone.
Now those of you who have your stones, find a convenient place within your
clothing to put them away. Those who have not found their stones, continue with
this part of the meditation on your own until you do. Work with your stones a few
minutes each day, becoming acquainted with them, learning to synchronize your
energies with those emitted by the stone. And when next we meet, you will be given
further instruction.
Now when you have your stones carefully put away, return your
consciousness to this room, to your current bodily status, and become aware of the
widening pool of energy that is being created in the center of this circle by the
healers from the temple.
These healing energies are warm, soothing, and comforting. And as more and
more is poured into the pool, it begins to lap gently at your toes, and then rises
warmly and soothingly to your ankles. The healing energies move on up through
your body from the pool through your feet.
And as your body is permeated with these healing energies, you become more
relaxed, more-gentle with yourself. As your physical body becomes more
comfortably relaxed, so your mental body relaxes, too. And the emotional body
relaxes as well. Then the desire body becomes involved with the need for purity and
strength and wholeness. Whatever is needed to create this wholeness within the
body is drawn by the desire body out of the pool of healing energy. It is drawn out of
the pool and into your body, and you are healed. You are healed physically,
mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
Because you cannot be whole without being joyous as well, you know that
you must share this joyousness and the opportunity for healing. So, you call to those
consciousnesses of your loved ones to join you here. (Names softly spoken.)
As those who have been called choose to come, the healers move behind you.
You may feel their presence as they bless you with their touch, even as you are being
joined by powers from other realms. Listen closely. Perhaps you will hear some of
the music. Such a blessing of light is being poured upon you.
Now, like the sunlight, this healing blessing is being spread around the world.
