Session #51 – June 1, 1985 Gloria’s Circle
Present: Eileen Horton, Bonnie Wisz, Myra Perala, Jean Chisholm, Sidney Smither, LaMar and RetaMae Bell, Richard and Mary White, Peggy Muldoon, Owen and Maxine Cramer
Sheariam: Good evening students and friends. Your music is greatly enjoyed. But of utmost importance is the work accomplished here this night. We are most deeply gratified at your beginnings with your studies. It heartens us, and thus we would continue with your instruction. Let us discuss in a little more depth the Realm of Spirit before we move on to the Realm of Mind. Have you given thought to the meaning of the sounds “Adam Kadmon”? (A little mumbling.) If you could do so, you would better understand this progenitor of the human race. It would be well to do so now. (Much paper shuffling.) In the power of sound, the vowel sounds contain the greatest power. Thus, it is that in the ancient languages, the vowels were omitted in the written word. (“a” as in hat: the Inner Force becoming self-knowing or conscious. There are three of them in “Adam Kadmon”, again a reference to the Divine Trinity, or the holy number 3.) There you have one of the constitutions of the progenitor. In the meaning of the sound “a” (as in “hat”) -- the Inner Self becomes self-consciousness, self-knowing -- lies one of the constituents of the progenitor, the founder, the forerunner, the archetype, the prototype. (“d”: solitude, silence, within-ness.) Yes. Now let us expand the meaning of that sound. It is not only the within-ness, but also carries the connotation of being alone or singular – solitude. (“k”: shadow or reflection of Divine Fire.) (“m”: synthesis, birth of a new entity.) Thus you have a solitary unit of beingness, that is self-knowing in its initial beginnings, or its birthing. (“k”: shadow or reflection of Divine Fire.) This is then to remind you that the progenitor, and thus you, yourself, are reflections of the Divine.
Myra: The second “d” doubles the first. (And so you have the number “2” adding objectivity as a constituent of the progenitor.) And another “m” would be a doubling of the “m”, the synthesizing of it. (Correct. You have the “o” (as in pot) sound as well.) That’s the Shadow of Divine Fire manifest in Spirit. And the sound for “n” is the cyclicity of it, from the Divine to the mundane and back again. Would that be the meaning there? (That is correct. So within the progenitor is the constitution of generation, degeneration, and regeneration.)
Sidney: Written with that “n” sound, does this have to do with transmigration, or in other words, rebirth of the entity or personalities of the entity? (Now transmigration as it is commonly known in your culture at this time is reincarnation from one quality to another, and that is not true in your condition.
Myra: From animal to human. (From human to animal.) That’s the old transmigration of souls.
Sheariam: The final “n” sound is that of generation, degeneration, and regeneration. So the progenitor has the constituent to create and to take back into itself. Now it is in the Realm of Spirit that form begins. So the Adam Kadmon has all forms from which to create its creations. These are in the formula for number: dots, lines, cubes, triangles, as well as spheres. Now in the way that we describe ourselves as Spirit-Physical and you in your condition as Mind-Physical, the Adam Kadmon is Divine-Spirit. Thus the Adam Kadmon incorporates all of the realms, Divine, Cosmic, Universal, bringing those attributes into the Realm of Spirit. And in the sedimentary process gathers itself together to produce the Realm of Mind through which it may act. This is represented by the “2” quality which is stated in the name by repeating the two sounds, the “d” and the “m”. Now the light and sound of original creation is passed from realm to realm. This sound gives birth to the Formula Sound. But the Divine Sound is more than the Sound or Formula for Sound developed in the Realm of Spirit. Do not be confused by the use of the same words.
Myra: Did you say that the sound of the Divine Sound is not the same as the Formula sound? (It is that which gives the Formula Sound the potential of existence, But the Formula Sound is only a part of the Divine Sound.) Owen: Is Divine Sound the same as Divine Roar? (Yes.) Myra: And that takes place in the Realm of The Absolute or in all of them? (It accompanies the act of creation, which is not a good word. As The Absolute exudes Itself at Omega Points, the Sound is created.) And that’s the Divine Roar?
Sheariam: Yes. And the light evidence in the lower realms is the stuff of The Absolute. Now that is the light as you know light. Now in the Realm of spirit in the sedimentary process, the newly birthed entity or progenitor, because it is of the Divine Fire, a shadow only thereof, but essentially Divine in origin, it has the power to create whatever it wishes. From this point forward, we will discuss the realms as though the realm that you now occupy is the only one, whereas that is not in fact so. Adam Kadmon is the progenitor of the realms below Spirit which result in Earth-Physical life. But it is in the Realm of Spirit that all the constituent parts of such existence are drawn together. Out of this creativity, this potentiality, is then arranged the Realm of Mind, which allows the Twin Minds to work with Volition and Consciousness, utilizing the Twin Forces to involve into matter through the Realm of Soul, through the Realm of Ego, and into the Realm of Self, which is the realm of physical manifestation. Now, in your holy scripture, in the second chapter of Genesis, you are told of the Garden of Eden. This is the Realm of Mind. In the Realm of Mind there is free communication with the progenitor. In the Realm of Mind, the angels can make contact and have affect upon the lower realms. All that you can know in the physical is created in the Realm of Mind. It is only potential in the Realm of Spirit, and is produced at the behest of Adam Kadmon. The first Adam of your scripture is a Realm of Mind Adam, not Adam Kadmon, but represents the archetypal human being. Adam Kadmon is the prototype of all physical manifestation, not just the human. It is in the Realm of Mind that Adam Kadmon creates stars, star systems, galaxies – all of the physical phenomena of which you can become aware. In the Realm of Mind begins the phenomenal world in which you now find yourselves immersed, and from which you must extricate yourselves to return to the Realm of Spirit. I think that should suffice for this time. Now we shall be most happy to discuss whatever you may wish.
Jean: I heard you say Adam Kadmon is a prototype of all physical manifestations, not just human, (Correct.) I bogged down at “prototype”. Prototype to me is model, or a design. (Agreed.) So within Adam Kadmon is a mockup for rocks, dogs, trees, plants, planets. (Agreed.) Myra: So within this being is incorporated all of the creations of the phenomenal world. (Agreed. Adam Kadmon is not polarized, but androgeny.) (Ed Note: androgynous: having characteristics of both male and female.)
Sidney: If our task is to extricate ourselves from the phenomenal aspects we find ourselves in, would one say that is our greater purpose as human beings, as mankind? (In the overall picture, yes.) Myra: Is that because the physical or the material world can be such a distraction to overcoming it? (The physical world is an experience chosen by Adam Kadmon as a means by which to manifest objectification.) Jean: Oh. Now you said the first Adam is in the Realm of Mind and represents an archetype of human being. Now does this mean that only man thinks? No. I said the Adam in your bible is that Adam created in the Realm of Mind as the prototype of human nature. But in the Realm of Mind also lies the first fish, the first star, the first anything of the phenomenal world.) Anything that man can think of. (that can be phenomenally perceived, begins in the Realm of Mind, in the Garden of Eden.)
Myra: You told us once, a long time ago, I think it was the Realm of Spirit where all the blueprints were. (Yes. The archetypes. Adam Kadmon, if you will, is a blueprint, but intelligent, creative.)
Jean: I didn’t get all that. The physical world is experience by which the – I thought I understood it. Now I can’t remember, but the thought that came to me was what I experienced this last week, where a person got a phone call and immediately got a stiff neck. Then I massaged them and I said, “What are you being stiff-necked about?” And it came to her that the stiff neck came with the phone call. It was very painful, but very real. And here was a thought that was manifest in the physical. When she became aware of the thought, it was to a large extent released from the physical (Yes.) Myra: Does that go back to the Realm of Mind? (Yes.) Sidney: So the prototype for the stiff neck was in the Realm of Mind? (Yes.)
Myra: You said something about intelligent, that Adam Kadmon was the intelligence. (Not just a blueprint, but is a blueprint with intelligence. In the “a” of Kadmon, you are told of this intelligence. Everything has intelligence of a sort, as everything is comprised of the Nine Components.)
Jean: Does intelligence here really mean order, or a structure, or orderliness? (Order is in the Formula Number.) Myra: Intelligence would use order, but it’s above that. (Yes. Intelligence comes from the Divine, the Twin Minds being part of the Divine Germ Cell.) Jean: Can you say more about intelligence?
Sheariam: Intelligence is a complexity of thought applied to the development of ideas. Thought is comprised of the two components, Volition and Consciousness, the capacity to focus, and the ability to act upon that focus. This is intelligence. Perceiving and Creative Mind contribute to intelligence. In the “a” (hat) sound, the Inner Force is no longer merely a thrusting force, but becomes self-intelligent, self- knowing.)
Jean: Can you say more about what is the difference between intelligence of a rock and human intelligence? (A rock has little Volition and much Consciousness. A rock must be acted upon unless it is used by something else which gives it the capacity to act on a third object. But the intelligence lies behind the act. Without intelligence there is no Ideation. Intelligence emanates as a part of the matrix of the Divine Germ Cell. Intelligence could be said to be the purpose of The Absolute.) Myra: I remember reading this week where you said that Consciousness was always the highest part of the Divine Germ Cell when there was an imbalance. If there was an imbalance, there was more Consciousness than anything else. (Yes.)
Eileen: There is something I’m wondering about. In one of the previous sessions you mentioned that Adam Kadmon would be pretty much what the Christians believe was God. – where we can relate to Adam Kadmon where we cannot relate to The Absolute because The Absolute is indefinable. (Correct.) Tonight you say that Adam Kadmon has all forms from which to create his creations, which would mean all these things such as rocks and stars and all of this. Now, the Christian God has been personalized, and we have sort of a feeling of identification with this God as if we can talk to this God and this God cares about us as individuals. It is rather hard for me to see this God that has all forms within it as being a personal god that we can talk to or that we can relate to in this manner. It is confusing to me. (Given that Adam Kadmon is creative intelligence, why can you not?) Well, I can, really. But I mean that within the Christian concept of a personalized God thinking about us as individuals, and not in just a general overall good of its creation, say. Is this Adam Kadmon able to relate to each person personally? (Totally conscious of everything it creates out of Itself, yes. It is as concerned about a star as it is about a galaxy. It is as concerned about an ant as it is about you.)
Myra: So it’s indeed appropriate that we should offer prayer to Adam Kadmon. (Most certainly.) Eileen: And it is heard, then? (Yes.) Richard: By the same token, could that be brought down one realm to the first Adam? (Yes.) The first Adam then would be more of a personalized entity type human type of God. (Yes, the human prototype.) So there would be “Our Father”, if you would, or if you preferred. (But Adam Kadmon is the creator of all the creatures, not Adam. Adam was given dominion.)
Sidney: If we pray to The Absolute, and that only fills a need within ourselves because The Absolute does not request that or require it, and yet there may be some importance in praying to Adam Kadmon, or perhaps Adam. Could one generalize and say that prayer and praise and things of this nature increase in importance as one comes down the realms? (Prayer and praise are important in this Realm of Self more than in other realms. It is a means by which you extricate yourself from the phenomenal world. You are indeed talking to yourself.) Jean: And so what you are doing, you are doing primarily for yourself, because you need it, not because Adam Kadmon needs it. (Yes. You are doing it for yourself, but also because Adam Kadmon needs it.) (Several Oh’s.)
Myra: How does Adam Kadmon react to prayer? (Being the source of prayer, it simply takes it back to the source.) In other words, Adam Kadmon really inspires the prayer. And when we respond to that inspiration, we are raising our consciousness. (Yes.) Jean: Is it like an electrical current that it makes the flow go more easily in all directions? By praying, you cause the flow to come back, more force to come back? (Prayer is like turning the switch on, enabling what you say, the electric current, which is actually the force of Life, to flow.)
LaMar: How does this apply to praying for others? (Insofar as you obey the injunction not to interfere, you are then turning on the switch to the inflow of enlightenment.) Eileen: I don’t know whether I understand that about praying for others. We’re always praying for someone else. Is this a useless thing, or is it considered interfering, or is it considered helpful?
Sheariam: It depends upon the mode of prayer. What has instigated the prayer? What is your motivation or expectation out of the praying? Now you have been told that your thoughts have force, energy. Thought carries energy. You can, then, feed another’s despondency through your prayers if your motivations are improper, or if the individual has not requested your help.
Sidney: You have said before that a general prerequisite for praying for others, if it’s to be effective, is to have some overt or tacit request. I’d like to ask the question in the case of Larry. We probably know that at some level Larry is asking for help, or is willing to accept help. But he is not in a position where perhaps we could perceive that request. How would one pray then for Larry? (In the first place, that individual prefaced his present condition by requesting help before the condition transpired. If you become aware of such an individual and do not know if such help has been requested, then you are better not to pray for that individual.)
Owen: Could you tell us a little bit more about the form of prayer? In church, often, the prayer is in the form of praise to God. This would be praise to Adam Kadmon acknowledging the wondrous nature of His being. From what you said, I understand that He doesn’t need this. But more important, what are the ideal forms of prayer?
Sheariam: The act of praise is a means by which you enhance your own connection with Divinity. As you praise God, you praise yourself. The proper and best mode of prayer has been given you in the Lord’s Prayer where you pray for yourself. The fact that the pronouns have been turned into plurals is a misnomer. It should be “Give me this day my daily bread”. As you pray for yourself, and you raise your own consciousness, and you activate those God attributes represented by the archangels, so you do then pray for others by your own betterment. By your own quantification you lift all of your kind. That is the true value of prayer. But as given before, you demand of the higher realms. “Give me my daily bread.” Not “please”. Not “Oh, please”. It’s “Give me!” (Comments: It seems kind of rude sometimes. But the Lord’s prayer is in the form of demand isn’t it? The supply is there, always, for us.) Any time you beg, you imply that God is less than adequate.
Richard: I have a question about the Lord’s Prayer where it says, “Lead us not into temptation”. What is the real meaning of that? (You are saying to yourself, “Give not in to your weaknesses.” All right, moving on. Have you worked with your gemstones?)
LaMar: My meditation was very much as it has been. I walked down the path with the white-robed monk and went directly through the wall of the golden pyramid, and I was expecting teaching as I have been getting. Instead, my son, who passed over February 22, and his cat were there in that room. I have never seen him look as really super good as he did at that time. My first question: Did what I perceived as having happened there actually happen? Was he there and we conversed, or was this just a wish from my mind? (It happened.) That’s what I thought. Now since then I have been able to have absolutely no meditation. I’d just as well try to climb a ladder to the moon as try to get a meditation. It came to me this evening that perhaps that was because, as has happened so many times, when I have a meditation that seems to be an ending, that is it. Then perhaps my mind was wanting to go back to that Tuesday meditation, and for that reason I’ve been able to get nothing. (That is correct.)
LaMar: The other thing that I have recently been very very aware of, is that whenever I have any stress, I can feel a place between my shoulder blades extremely. It’s like a button I need to push. Could you give me some insight into what is going on there?
Sheariam: Yes. As you will be taught in Silverthistle’s healing seminar, that is a nerve center particularly related to stress. If you have someone place the palm of their hand over that spot and their other hand correspondingly on the chest, as you both breathe deeply, that tension, that stress, can be transmuted into energy which you can then use for other activities rather than suffering. (LaMar quietly to RetaMae: “I trust you heard that. Others comment and there is group laughter.)
Mary: To go a little further with what LaMar just talked about, in meditating it seems like I have what I call dry spells when nothing seems to happen. Is this because of our humanness that we kind of come and go in that area? Like my health has been excellent lately, and I’m feeling very good. Yet I can’t seem to have the meditations. (This is part of the cyclicity of life. Yes. Everyone has the same experience to some degree.) So just keep trying and working with that until the time… (It is not so much a case of trying as it is allowing. Keep your appointments with yourself. If you do not receive the results that you expect in a few moments, go about your business. But give yourself the chance again and again, and one day it shall be the way it should be for you.)
Peggy: Does this time when you do not get anything take long to pass? (If you do not get something within the first three to five minutes, then do not continue to force yourself to remain inactive unless you need the rest period.) I get pictures, but I don’t understand them. (Enjoy them. The time will come when the meaning will be made clear.)
Myra: Sometimes I tried so many days in a row and received nothing. Then I thought that perhaps I need to use my imagination to draw myself some “playthings” so to speak. I’m wondering if this is a suitable thing to do. (It depends upon what you expect to get out of your meditation. It is a proper thing to do if you are going to instruct your inner self in some healing procedure or in some problem solving.) So if there’s something that you really want, then that is a good thing to do. (Yes.)
Sidney: You said that intelligence could be said to be the purpose of The Absolute. I recall that previously it was stated that we were created so that The Absolute could experience through us, or something similar to that. And if that is true, and eventually we all will be returned back into The Absolute at some point in what we might call time, as we solve our problems that we find wherein we find ourselves extruded into the phenomenal world, and as we eventually progress up the realms and find ourselves in the Realm of Spirit, as mankind as a whole then is that part of this creation being returned to The Absolute, or am I off base there? (No, that is correct.) Eileen: Then what happens? We start all over again? (It is a continual process. There are parts of creation returned even as parts are created. It is a process that goes on beyond your comprehension.)
RetaMae: We were out at the beach this last week, and I was in an altered state, and yet I was aware of what was going on. There was a ray or beam of light that just came down through the trailer. My hands were open and my palm was kind of cupped, and the beam of light came through, right through my hand, and I could feel the hotness of it. I was thinking, “Oh, my God, I’ve got a hole in my hand.” Then I looked at it, and realized my hand was whole, but this ray or beam came right on through. As I was lying there trying to analyze this, all that I could think of was that the lesson I was learning was that there are no barriers; there were no limitations; there was nothing that couldn’t go through. Could you give me something more on this? Am I on the right track? It was very startling to me, and yet at the same time it had a tremendous impact. I could see right through it. (Given that you recall the words Gloria gave you on your trip to the mountain, that beam of light would be your vehicle.) Okay. I noticed the heat. Okay. Then I should be very aware and conscious of my beam of light. (Yes.)
LaMar: There was one other thing that I was going to ask. I think you answered it in your answer regarding my last visit to the pyramid. When Ray passed on, we brought his cat, which he so dearly loved, to our place. While we were at the beach, the cat passed on. Evidently from your answer to our first question, our pets do find us, and that was Football (the cat) that was with him in the pyramid the other morning.
Sheariam: That is correct. In the Realm of Spirit, in the body of Adam Kadmon, all manifestation is formulated. As given before, Mr. Darwin has things slightly misconstrued. Humans did not develop from the apes. All life in a cellular distinction has arisen out of the components of this earth planet. So that body structure, the arrangement of the physical phenomenon, is in truth evolutionary, but the animator of species is created in the body of Adam Kadmon, so that humans are humans, animals are animals, plants are plants and mineral is mineral. Consciousness does rise. One level of existence is abandoned as Consciousness moves into another level of existence with the cellular structure. We have a problem because of the word “Consciousness” having to be used in so many different connotations. It would be well at this time to abandon this subject until we get further into the Realm of Self. As we work our way through Soul and Ego it will be more easily understood. But your pets do reincarnate as pets, and plants reincarnate as plants. You will find this is true even in the mineral kingdom. Myra: You mean a diamond would reincarnate as a diamond? (More likely as carbon.)
Sidney: I recall somewhere having read in the sessions that any of these other life forms that reincarnate can also reach a state wherein it is not necessary for them to reincarnate again. Is that correct? (True.) In the last session, you told us that elementary life is present among us in various shapes, and that previously we have been taught that everything in the universe is spherical. This seems not to make sense to me. Could you elaborate on that?
Sheariam: As given earlier this evening, in the Realm of Spirit, in the conceptualization by Adam Kadmon, constituents of the realms are given arbitrary form as cubes or dots or lines. This is in the phenomenal world. In the non- phenomenal world, everything is spherical. All of these phenomenal forms are in reality spherical.
Sidney: Does that then mean if there are parts of me that are not projected into phenomenal reality, those parts of me would be spherical? (Yes.) Myra: What does that mean? Sidney: I don’t know.
Sheariam: You are aware that the basic configuration of particles in your phenomenal world is spherical, usually. But that there are cells that are disk-like, or rod-like, or worm-like. But, in reality, they are all spherical. Their form is a phenomenon.
Sidney: The blueprint for everything in the phenomenal world is, of course, elsewhere. So those blueprints – are they spherical? (Yes.)
Jean: I would like to ask a question about what has been happening to me more and more. I’m having more and more people come to me with difficulties that are more difficult, but they are in a large sense more mental, but they are manifest in the physical. When I work with them I am doing things that just come to me as I work with them. And these things work. It’s very exciting. I’m learning a lot, and when I’m all through, I’m amazed and they feel much better. It seems it is coming so fast. (It has not been long since you asked how you could best speed up your accomplishments as a healer.) (Lots of laughter.) LaMar: Do you want to slow down? (More laughter.)
Richard: I would like to digress, if I may, and ask a question about what took place last Tuesday when I talked to the editorial group about the workbook. At that time, you gave assignments to a number of us so far as parts of the workbook. (We suggested those intelligences as being most appropriate to work on those portions.) Yes. I thought they were excellent selections. My question is in regard to the need we feel for lessons to be used by those of us here as well as those who will be at the open circle coming up later this month, people who will be interested in doing something more than simply attending a lecture or a circle. We have in mind at least one study group and maybe more. We feel that we needed something to use as an interim workbook or group of lessons, and we were wondering if you had any suggestions. Should we just use the same format that you gave us for the workbook, or do you have an alternate plan? (You have been given one example of such a lesson which would not be difficult to duplicate in other areas. Furthermore, Achowthbah (student) Myra gave you a good example of how a lesson can be put together rather quickly. The process could be applied to any of the information given.) So, we should just go ahead and use that information that we feel is most appropriate then? (Yes. You would not be amiss to begin with the laws, of course.)
Sidney: I’m assuming that if we ran out of things to do, which I don’t think we will, we could always go to the “Eight Keys” of Silverthistle? (Of course.) Some people take on the suffering of other people in many ways, even physically. We’ve been told not to do this unless asked. Regardless of who Jesus either was or was not, the interpretation of our scriptures has often been that he came into this world to take the sins of humanity on his own shoulders, and by his own suffering and death, he conquered the sins of man up to that point in time. (So, the church has made you believe.) My question is, “Why has this interpretation come to exist?” (For the purpose of the exercise of power.) My second question is: “Is there any basis in fact to such interpretations? (There is a basis which Silverthistle is expecting to produce as time and energy allow.) My third question is: “Can the negative thoughts and deeds, which I’m going to label “sins” for the purpose of this question, be cleansed from the world by the action of our group, or the action of our group and similar groups, by the action of sending loving, healing, positive, different colored thought forms around the world as we do in our closing meditations? (If it were not so, we would not do it.) My fourth question is: “If what we might call here, for purposes of this question, the “salvation of the world", can be so achieved in this way, would it be helpful to the planet to include such information in the workbook we are now editing. (Yes. It was our intention that this would be included in the introduction.)
Bonnie: Sheriam, I got my entity mantra, and the following morning it immediately went into song. I can’t seem to use it in any other way but that song. The melody is constant. (That is natural.) It feels very natural.
Maxine: I had a meditation I would like to have help interpreting. I went into the three-sided pyramid to the center. Inside over the center were three rainbows. I held out my right hand, and it showed yellow on it. I held out my left hand, and it showed yellow but it was a lighter color. I cocked my head and lavender showed on the top of my head. I raised the toe of my left foot, and the shoe was very large and green. I basked under the rainbow, and then said, “Thank you.” (As you know, the color green is one of healing, provided it is clear, bright green. In this instance, you were being told that you could heal your foot with your mind, which is the yellow, and the spiritual guidance, which is the purple.)
Sidney: Speaking of the rainbow, I’ve been trying to correlate the colors of the rainbow with the major scale. I’ve come up with three possibilities, but I don’t know which, if any of them, are correct. But in checking with two other people who are intuitive, we picked the second one. I’d like to tell you what we came up with and ask for your response. The first color corresponding to the first tone would be red; the second would be orange, the third yellow, the fourth green, the fifth blue, the sixth indigo, and the seventh violet. Is that correct or incorrect, and if so, how? (It is one of the more traditional applications. There are other possibilities.) I don’t know where to take it from there, but thank you. (Give it thought and meditation.)
Maxine: I have a question about the healing of this left leg. Can I get the answers I need or would help come in my meditations? (All you need to do is ask.) (Other suggestions: Demand. Believe.) In this instance you are asking of yourself who can demand from the higher realms. But you can only ask of yourself. Remember the self you are asking, which is the body, which is lower than the mind which does the asking. The body demands of the mind.) Richard: Thank you, Maxine. That helps all of us. Bonnie: Sheariam, I have a question about mantras. I know what all of the sounds mean, but I haven’t put my mantra together in one sentence that I can understand. (A mantra is not a sentence. A mantra is one word, a series of sounds grouped together.) But isn’t it supposed to have a particular meaning to it, or a thought that goes with it? (It will always have. Any sounds grouped together have a central theme.) So is it important for me to know exactly what that mantra means? (No.) Just the sounds, themselves? (Yes.) The most important thing? (Yes.) In the meditation experience that went with it, he gave me a lot of clues as to what it meant in itself. (Yes.) Sidney: I think before as I recall, a mantra was mentioned as being most effective when it was short. Is it possible also for mantras to be more than one word, however? (It is best if they are not.) In both our new and old testaments much of the information given to the enlightened ones was given to them on mountain tops. Will we, or when will we, be advised on a mountain top meditation for ourselves? (If and when the time is right.) Mary: I’ve really been excited about my entity. And I’ve been asking, but I’ve so far not been receiving. Is it because I’m not ready? (You are over-eager.)
Sheariam: Shall we then have a healing meditation to conclude? Settle your bodies. Relax your minds. Relax your eyelids. Squeeze your eyelids together and then relax them. Compress your lips, and then relax them. Swallow several times. And then breathe deeply several times. Now allow your breathing to return to its normal cadence. Just observe. Be aware of that inner knowledge of the body, itself, to perform its functions: the lungs billow and the digestive tract moves in its own rhythm. When you need them, your muscles tense for use. When you tell them to relax, they know they are not needed. But those muscles that are needed to keep you upright in your chair remain on the job. The muscles necessary to keep your head on your shoulders remain on the job. Think about your body as the marvelous instrument that it is. Now think of the emotions which act upon that body, to swing it this way, or move it that way. Step aside and look at the thoughts which influence the emotions. Then look at it from the other perspective: the emotions which influence the thoughts. Then go back to observing the rhythm of your natural breathing, and with each intake of breath, allow the mind, the thoughts of the mind, to line up with the emotion, to become balanced with the body so that you have a triune of balancing of mind, body and emotion. It is the balance of these three which enable the physical organism to be whole and effective as a vehicle for your finer self to live in this physical world. So now allow your consciousness to rise into that finer self of intuitive knowing, as though you stand above and behind your body. Observe the thoughts, the emotions, and the body. Now from this higher elevation of the intuitive self, extend your palms toward your body. Bless your body. Bless your emotions. Bless your thoughts. From this intuitive elevation, you can expand without limitation of the physical. Allow yourselves to expand toward each other until you stand in a joined ring clasping hands. Behind you, but near, the healers from the temple stand with joined hands. The energy moves around and around the circle, passing through your hands to each other. The energy passes through the healers’ hands to each other, and these two circles of energy act as a dynamo for healing. Now this energy rises from the two circles of people, coming together above and in their midst, into an umbrella configuration of healing energy. As you look up at it, you can see the iridescent greens and blues of the healing colors. Now while you maintain that umbrella with the assistance of the healers, invite those loved ones who may wish to join you to come in under that healing umbrella. (Names softly spoken.) Now, even as those who have accepted your invitation continue to join you, see that umbrella of healing energy move downward, covering you, permeating you, enlivening you, warming you. As you accept the healing, feel that thrill of joy within, that inner knowledge that contact has been made, that in the act of being healed, you are loving the healer, you are loving yourself, you are being beloved. As the healing energies mix and flow with you, you mix and flow with them. You become one with all. The consciousness of the group becomes one consciousness, and it rises, and it rises, and the love you feel for each other rises with that consciousness and becomes a blessing to all who would partake of it. Allow your consciousness not only to rise, but to expand, carrying this healing energy and your love to all areas of your planet. As the healing takes place, peace must ensue. Abundance is provided. Intelligent decisions are made. Feel the contact that you make with people you will probably never even see. Now release any claim you have on that energy, knowing that you may have all that you need without depleting the source. Begin to draw your consciousness back to the limitations of your body. Bring your awareness back into the physical body, into your present condition, into the awareness of this room. With blessing and love, release your loved ones to return to themselves. Thank the healers of the temple who have come to join you in this moment of blessing the earth. And now, as you bring yourselves back to daily consciousness, I give you my blessing and bid you go in peace until we meet again. Good night.
