Session #66 – January 18, 1986
Gloria’s Circle
Present: Richard and Mary White, Owen and Maxine, Cramer, Peggy Muldoon,
Ida Nevala, Myra Perala, Jean, Chisholm, Bonnie Wisz, Eileen Horton
Following another great potluck dinner, Jean led an hour of study and discussion of the
Law of Illusion. The meeting began following a brief meditation led by Richard and the
usual song.
Judith: Good evening my precious ones. It would seem that you would
recognize that your group energies are quite different this night, do you not?
Certainly the frequency has picked up, and we are much pleased that you study.
Now let us go forward with our lesson. As promised, we shall speak about the
Garden of Eden. As you have been given, ideal man, your spiritual ancestor, comes
into being in the Realm of Spirit, but comes into power in the Realm of Mind. The
Greek word for this progenitor is the “Protogonus” (pronounced with all long “o”s.
with the accent on to “go” syllable.)
In the Realm of Spirit, in that sedimentary process, comes together the three
formulae previously discussed. Now, the Kadmon has the power of creativity. Do
you recall, early in your lessons, we advised you of the creativity of your own
thought, but gave you little background by which you could understand this
function of yours. Now, in the Realm of Mind, using the three formulae to bring
together the “God Stuff”, the ERTs, certain primordial substances are formed. In
the terms of your earth existence, you might best comprehend this substance if we
call it a “fiery mist”.
When last we spoke, we talked of light and darkness as being one and the
same -- different manifestations of the same thing. It is out of darkness that light
comes, and it is out of light that darkness comes. On this night, you have spent some
valuable time discussing the Law of Illusion. This reality of light out of darkness and
darkness out of light comes to you in your condition as illusion. You do not truly
understand my words. You accept them for consideration only, and that is all we
ask of you, to record and to consider. Understanding comes as you find the reality
behind the illusion.
Now, let us also consider heat and cold. Cold comes out of heat, and heat
comes out of cold. Neither is a substance, as neither light nor dark is a substance.
Let us for the moment call them properties of existence objectified in a material
world.
Now the Kadmon, created by the Ben Elohim, has inherently the same
powers as the Ben Elohim. Thus, all the power that inheres to your progenitor,
inheres to you.
Let us for a moment consider something which you accept in your condition
as a reality: electricity, magnetism, and motion. Any two of these three in
combination will produce the third. Is that not so?
Let us then consider Sound, Number and Function. In the same way that you
understand the physical triad, try to understand this subtile triad. If you combine
what we call Sound with what we call Number, it will produce Function. If you
combine Sound with Function, it will produce Number. And if you combine
Function with Number, it will produce Sound.
Now, these three in varying combination and in varying modes of
manifestation become the primordial beginnings of your world. Out of these three,
operating upon the God Stuff, against the matrix of The Absolute, comes the Realm
of Soul, and also many of the aspects of Mind, which you may claim.
Each realm can create within itself things of itself. It is true that Realm of
Mind is totality in itself – one Mind – but comprised of many parts, and is itself only
a part of the greater Mind part of The Absolute. You will find that every
manifestation is a part of a greater whole, and yet, in and of itself, that part is also a
whole, complete, sufficient unto its own needs. Now, in what we would call the
“mind” of Adam Kadmon, in the Realm of Mind, are developed all of the
conceptualizations which result in the condition which you now inhabit.
As the Realm of Soul is endowed or bestowed, it is comprised of many souls,
each having a particular destiny or responsibility. In the Realm of Mind, in the
creativity of the Adam Kadmon, is born the “seed stars” which ultimately become
your suns, which together make your galaxies. It is in the Realm of Mind that all
conditions which you now know, are conceptualized. The states of matter, for
instance, whether gaseous, liquid, or solid, are decided by Adam Kadmon in the
Realm of Mind. States of matter are created conditions; they are created
manifestations. They are all forms which a single entity can assume, including a
human being.
Thus it is that the first Garden of Eden is a “state of mind” in which all
things to be known by you come into being. This is not merely the manifestation of
what you call “materiality”. This is also the manifestation of you as thinking,
feeling, creative beings with affinities and repulsions, with all of the qualities that
you can imagine. And all of these qualities are expressed in terms of light and dark,
hot and cold.
Let us have some mental exercise. What does happen in your realm, in your
experience, when heat and darkness come together?
Owen: If the heat is sufficient, it may cause any material thing to give off light.
Judith: Correct. Very good. Now combine the other properties in varying
duads. Let me hear from you what you understand.
Myra: You’re interested in our comparing light and dark and hot and cold in
varying amounts? (In varying relationships by duad.) So cold and dark. (What does
that produce? What happens when those two combine?)
Suggestions: Make it darker or colder. Fear. (Think in terms of your material world.)
Jean: It would get smaller. (Why?)
Myra: The darkness doesn’t make any more heat, so the molecules would pull
closer together. (Then what happens?)
Several: It turns into solid. (And in the process, is not heat generated? As the
molecules shrink together, does not heat come out of cold and dark?)
Transcriber’s Example: When water condenses into liquid from the vapor state, it
gives off the “heat of vaporization”; when it freezes into ice, it gives off the “heat of
fusion”.
(Cold and dark in your world causes decay, and decay is a process of heat.)
Owen: Are you using a different definition of “decay” rather than a process
involving organic organisms like molds and fungi? They don’t necessarily have to have
dark, but they are things that we usually attribute decay to.
Myra: Do they need heat?
Owen: The process of digestion that they use involves oxidation, and oxidation
gives off some heat, yes. It doesn’t require cold, though. (This is intended to be a
mental exercise for you to begin dimly to perceive the reality behind the
manifestations with which you live.)
Sidney: Well, cold and dark can still be surrounded by light. Does that then mean
that decay occurs as you go from the inside out? (In a manner of speaking, yes.)
Myra: Does the light affect it?
Jean: Stops it, in some cases.
Myra: And so would heat, wouldn’t it, in some cases stop decay?
Judith: So you see you have the two forces of expansion and contraction. You
have expansion in multiplication. You have expansion in swelling. You have
contraction in that which shrinks. You have contraction in that which becomes
transformed into something else. This exercise is meant not to be limiting, but to be
indicative. We want you to exercise your mind. We want you to find reality for
yourself. You studied this very night the Law of Illusion, and we are trying to help
you live with that Law. As you are created under the Law of Dominance, you must
first deal with Dominance. But how can you exercise the dominion which is
rightfully yours if you do not know the reality of that with which you must work?
Now the question was asked tonight as to why the Law of Illusion.
Remember, this is a law of your particular universe. It is a law under which all of
this universe’s manifestations will come to understand that the manifestation itself is
whole in itself, but is part of a greater whole. If it were not for this law, you could
only deal with manifestation as reality, and would not then utilize the creativity with
which you have been endowed.
Now in the Realm of Soul, various Intentions and responsibilities, with
Divine Intelligence, which is endowed through Adam Kadmon, draw to themselves
those accoutrements of primordial matter with which they will manifest those
worlds most suited to the working out of the Law of Dominance, not necessarily all
on this planet earth, but in some planet earth.
In the Realm of Mind are many such Adams. To simplify, let us say, there is
an Adam for each Law, who will bestow a Realm of Soul which will gather to its
selves and to its various parts that which is necessary to the working out of the Law.
That which is created for the working out of the Law does not escape the application
of the other laws. All laws work equally well in all realms, but one law will be best
served by a particular manifestation. The Law of Dominance is best served by the
Realms of Ego and Self. The Realms of Ego and Self were particularly designed for
the working out of the Law of Dominance.
Now in the Realm of Mind are established all of these dichotomies with
which you struggle: love and hate, attraction and repulsion, all of your feelings, the
pathways of your thoughts, the limit of your creativity. The design is laid in the
formation of the mind of Adam Kadmon. Only in that design could the Realm of
Self manifest as it has.
You will recall that we spoke of the Archangel Michael as being one of the
four faces of that (dominance) power center. Utilizing that power center with its
four faces, the souls of your star systems drew to themselves those ingredients
necessary to the production determined by the creativity of each Soul. Now as you
know each manifest thing creates out of itself its own kind. Out of Soul comes soul;
out of Mind comes mind; out of Spirit comes spirit.
And so that “thinker” of you is born in Realm of Mind, and in Realm of
Mind it remains. It is with that “thinker” that Souls think. It is with the Soul’s
“thinker” that Ego thinks. It is with the Ego’s “thinker” that the Self thinks.
It is from this Realm of Mind that the Divine Rod, of which Silverthistle
speaks, descends through the Realms of Soul and Ego into Self. It is through that
descent that the instructions are laid for the out-picturing of the Intention laid down
by the soul. You might visualize it to yourself as a vortex, as a whirlwind reaching a
finger down into this Realm of Self. As the Souls establish their Intention and gather
to themselves those celestial substances, they must operate under the seven laws.
So there is not as much harmony as you have been led to believe in the Realm
of Soul. Imperfection, as you might call it, begins much before the formation of
planets. Souls are substantive. Mind is also substantive, but of such etherealness that
it is imperceptible with your sensory systems. If this were not so, I would not have to
speak to you in this manner. I could speak to you directly.
When you have evolved your portion of Mind to a certain extent, then you
and I may converse face to face. Souls can speak through all lower manifestations.
Soul has the power, the capacity, to manifest a substantive figure in any realm below
itself. Thus matter, as you experience it, is formulated in Mind, is shaped in Soul, is
substantiated in Ego and manifest in Self.
Now what does this have to do with the Garden of Eden? The Garden of
Eden is that state of Mind in which all celestial substance has been apportioned,
designed, intentioned, but remains in a state of equilibrium where light and dark
are equal, where heat and cold are equal. The balance becomes disturbed by the
excitation of Mind, as creativity answers the urge “to be”. As the story of the
Garden of Eden is given in your bible, you are told that all things are present and
accounted for. You are told that the Tree of Life is there. You are told that all is
established, and so it is. That is the perfect dwelling place in Mind. You can be there
when you have relinquished the claim of the Self.
Now, next lesson we will talk about the occupation of the Garden of Eden
and the rivers which you are told flow therefrom. For this time, I do believe you
have had enough. Now can we answer some questions for you?
Peggy: This “ego” has me confused. We were taught in the Course of Miracles
that we were supposed to get rid of the ego. Is that true? (No, that is not true. That is a
statement of illusion. It is using the word “ego” incorrectly. It is using the word
“ego” where perhaps the phrase “sense of self significance” might better be used.)
Why is it then that they tell us that the “ego” is what causes us most of our problems.
(Because it does. In this case.)
Myra: When you mention “ego”, you’re talking about the Realm of Ego in
contrast to our usual term when we use the word “ego”. (Yes.) So we really have a
different definition than for the Realm of Ego.
Jean: Does the Realm of Ego mean the place in which we are individualized?
(Yes.) And the “ego” that we use is our own subjective feeling self significance or self
importance.
Myra: I was interested in what you said about matter in our experience, and you
mentioned that it’s formulated in the Realm of Mind, shapened in the Realm of Soul,
substantiated in the Realm of Ego, and manifested in the Realm of Self. (Yes.) That
sounds fascinating. (The fascination is what keeps you here.) You’re so right. If we can
come to understand those different realms which we are living in -- all four of them,
right? (Yes.) So when we come to understand that our Creative Mind can shape matter,
we can cause all these things to happen as we utilize these different realms. Is that right?
(That is correct.)
Jean: I understood you to say that the Garden of Eden is a perfect dwelling place
in the Mind, and that we can be there when we relinquish the Self. (Yes, Self.)
Peggy: When you relinquish your life to the Universe, there are certain things you
have to do, but you do it with the knowing that everything’s going to be all OK? (There
are no things you have to do, only things that you believe you have to do.) Such as
finding employment. (You only believe that is so.) Oh, Boy. (Laughter.) I like to eat too
well. (Another mis-belief. There are other means by which you can gain food. Use
your creative thinking powers. (Comments and laughter.)
Jean: What is the process by which we relinquish Self? (May I table that
question, please?)
Owen: You mentioned matter formulated in Mind, shaped in Soul, substantiated
in Ego, and manifested in Self. How do you differentiate between substantiated and
manifested? (As you experience matter in three forms, you cannot truly describe
solid matter in terms of gaseous matter, there are also these realities that cannot be
explained in terms of what you know.Substantiated is that state of existence
between the concept and the drawn blueprint and the completed edifice.
Substantiation might be likened to your step of building, putting together various
building materials, as in this case, forms of primordial substance. In your
experience of your environment, you greatly enjoy the lichen on your trees or rocks.
There was a time in the process of manifestation of your now condition when lichen
was the only living organism. How then could one describe to you the lichen? That’s
reversing the process, but sometimes to best understand, we must look in the
mirror. Are you at peace? (Some questioning chuckles.)
Myra: I feel rather like I did when you told us about the Divine Germ Cell. I
think you’ve given us a whole lot of things that we now understand, but at that time it
was like total confusion. (Yes. Remember that the celestial substance, the primordial
seed stars, all contain all of the Components of the Divine Germ Cell.)
Jean: Will you speak a little more about “manifest”? When I think of manifest, I
think of two entities, that one becomes aware of the other. Now, “substantiate”, that I can
understand. That can come into existence by itself. But “manifest” seems to me that there
has to be some consciousness there and two entities involved. (But does not the Divine
Germ Cell have Consciousness? Then you’re saying that one thing can manifest if it has
consciousness? (All things have Consciousness. A rock is just as conscious of you as
you are of the rock.) (Mumbles.)
Myra: You mean equally conscious? (But not equal in Volition.)
Jean: Well, is “substantiate” and “manifest” the same? (No. Substantiation is
the process in which apportionment brings celestial primordial substance, which is
certain arrangements of the God stuff, ERTs, together, some of which may be in the
shape of water, other in the shape of silica -- the shape of all of your elements. In the
substantiation of your world, the elements are formed. Your manifestation is the
result of the way these elements are attracted to each other.)
Myra: The way they’re attracted to each other determines what the ultimate
manifestation or shape that will take? (Yes, and that attraction or repulsion is
determined by the Soul Intention of that Ego. As a Soul emits “star dust”, these
particles may come together, or they may not. In the coming together, a star is
substantiated, but not manifest until the Intention of the star directs the
substantiation. This is an over-simplification of something we will be discussing at
greater length.)
Jean: Something that you said earlier made me think that as each of us is – I
suppose the word would be “manifest” – that there is a plan put in at that time which
shapes the destiny of that entity? (That is correct.)
Myra: I don’t understand it. Could you re-phrase, please? (Each of you has a
destiny determined before your birth, but that destiny is influenced by the way
which you conduct your passage along that destiny pathway.) So we do control our
destiny by our conduct, but the pathway is pretty much already there. So how we
influence it also may be how fast we go on it?
Peggy: Then subconsciously we know what that is. Is that right? Then when we
have accomplished that, is that when we go to greater height or another life? (If it were
not for the Law of Illusion, there would be no purpose in your being given the
opportunity of choice. As the realms descend, become bestowed and endowed, that
veil of illusion becomes more opaque.)
Myra: So the higher you go up in the realms, the veil of illusion is much easier to
see through? (And one of the most dense or opaque veils of illusion with which you
currently deal is your own physical body.) How is that? (Because it divides you from
your fellow man.) Could you elucidate, please? (You, as an individual, in your flesh
body, cannot live in the flesh body of another. With that veil between, you do not
experience the same reality in the same way.)
Owen: In this respect, we are each, as I understand from what was given earlier,
Selfs within an Ego, and there are many Selfs within an Ego. Now this opaque veil of
illusion keeps us from realizing that a number of us are really all of the same Ego.
(True.)
Myra: You mentioned about Michael being one of four faces of a power center. I
wondered if you could speak about the power center and the four faces of the power
center? (That was given in the discussion of Michael and Rechobeth and Lucifer and
Lilith, light and dark, heat and cold.)
Jean: You said that the denser…. We cannot live in the other body, that that’s
illusion. Does this mean when the veil of illusion becomes less, we can merge into one?
(Yes, and still retain your identity. And it is that union that you seek in your sexual
intercourse. This is why Silverthistle is teaching you, to raise the gonadal area to the
pineal area in your physical. Turn it inside out. ) And does this sometimes happen
when people are working on ideas together? (Yes. As you function in the Mental Body
and lose that sense of Self-significance, the body’s importance diminishes, and you
lose that sense of separateness.)
Owen: Earlier this evening you mentioned that in the Realm of Mind, as I
understand it, that Adam Kadmon created conditions and manifestation forms that a
single entity can assume, including human. I wasn’t sure I understood that statement.
Does this mean that humans can manifest in other forms? (No. Each of your
manifestations on your planet must remain those manifestations. Your mineral
kingdom is your mineral kingdom. It can only enter the plant kingdom by the
process of ingestion and assimilation.)
Judith: Let us bring our session to an end. I have a brief message for you, and
then we will have our meditation. If you will recall some months ago, we advised you
that certain things were being arranged for your channel. Some of these things are
now manifesting, and things will change greatly for all of you within the next period
of time, perhaps a year. Know that these changes have our blessing and our
cooperation and our assistance. It is along our intention and our commission to
bring our teachings to the Human Realm on this planet, and these changes will serve
to make this more efficiently accomplished.
Peggy: How will this affect our private lives? (At this time we cannot tell you
that, for it will depend upon the choices you make as circumstances are shapen.)
Bonnie: This is a part of what happened yesterday to Gloria? (Yes. So we want
you to be prepared for changes, and to meet them with joy and with expectation.)
Well, Gloria certainly was joyful.
Peggy: Then this is something to look forward to? (We do with great
anticipation.)
Owen: Judith, before we have the meditation, would it be appropriate to ask if
you could give us some comments on the phenomenon of Ramtha? We have seen a
videotape of Ramtha and have been wondering. It’s certainly different than what you
wonderful teachers of the temple give us. I mean the manner of presentation. In a way it
seems a little strange. I’m wondering if you could give us some kind of appraisal of
Ramtha. (And are you entertained?) It was very entertaining. I felt that because of its
entertainment, it attracted many people who would not otherwise have been attracted.
(And had you listened closely, you would have realized that Ramtha is a creature of
the Astral Realm. He makes no claim to higher. He admits to great years of earth
life and earth living. We will be discussing the realm from which this entity is now
expressing.)
Myra: Could you explain how the astral realm relates to the nine realms you have
explained to us? (When the time is correct to do so. It is not one of the nine realms. It
is a created realm, created by the Self.) And yet he said he is the “outrageous god”.
(Outrageous personage….)
Eileen: His message seemed very close to what is coming through for us. How do
you feel about the message? (Yes. The message is true, but his version is distinctly
watered down.)
Owen: He makes many promises. Are these promises that he has any personal
ability to help bring about other than by suggesting to the individual who will then take
the necessary action to achieve their coming true? (He is an excellent psychologist.)
Sidney: Is his power to manifest any greater than anyone of us to do the same? (None.)
Sidney: However, our own self-limitations perhaps might be greater.
Owen: From your standpoint, is he accomplishing a very positive thing by
bringing the spiritual aspects of our existence to the attention of more people? (To a
certain extent he is doing so. When he steps too far, he will be stopped.)
Peggy: Is it going to be a short time until more people will become aware of this
kind of teaching? (The time is now.)
Maxine: It’s just a matter of acceptance by some. (Or rejection.)
Myra: And there’s a great number of people who are very put off by our work.
(Yes.) Frightened to death of it.
Peggy: Why are they so frightened?
Maxine: Can you give any suggestions of what one might say to one’s family that
feels this is of “the power of the Devil”, so to speak? (As we have told you before, your
best witness is your radiant life. Be healthy, whole, happy, and at peace. Let us now
go to our meditation.) (Expressions of gratitude.) (You are most welcome.)
Sidney: I would very much like to thank the temple healers for the healing I
received at the last session. (We are so delighted.)
Jean: And I would like to thank them for the experiences of this last week. (You
have all come a great way since we first began with you.)
Maxine: We are glad to know we have.
Judith: Now, relax your bodies, and breathe deeply so that your brain cells
have lots of oxygen. In keeping with our lesson, become aware of yourself as a
“selfhood”. Know yourselves as a physical body, as an emotional being, so that your
heart beats with love, with yearning, with longing. Know yourselves as a mental
being that you can think. In that Mental Body you can think of things to do and to
be and to create. In that Mental Body you can make plans. You can think about
yourself making plans. Still beyond that, there is that sense of “I Am-ness” that is
not merely the “thinker”, that is not the “feeler”, that is not the gross matter that
you know of as “physical body”
Then there is the I AM that knows that it is “I Am”. As you reach towards
that sensitivity of eternal “I AM-ness”, you activate that celestial substance which is
that eternal Rod of Life, and the Star Seed which has become you has viability, has
significance, has great importance in the scheme of things.
So you touch that part of your Soul that makes you know responsibility for
what you create. But the “I AM” is beyond that, and that brings you to touch that
part of your Soul that enables you to know that there will never be a time when you
will cease to be.
Out of that depth of deep, deep darkness comes that shaft of light of
understanding that calms the fearful heart, that heals the wounded spirit, that
brings out the courage that cannot be lost because of the eternal urge “to be”. In
that you know your God Self. In that God Self, you know your indestructibility.
From that center of knowing, you emit rays of warmth and light, of love and
healing. You make yourselves whole.
Now as you continue to emit the celestial light, which is the very substance of
you, invite those who will to join you in this moment of wholeness and love and
peace. (Many names softly spoken.)
Now, as these beloved ones come to join you, know that the glorious light of
your beingness joins with theirs, and you become one in Mind, and then one in
heart, and then you become one in Purpose. Together you choose the purpose,
peace, and in that Purpose, you know lies the wholeness for this earthly home. With
the power of the Mind, you send this vibration of peace, this condition of peace,
around your planet. It circles and enshrouds the planet, and the planet becomes
encased in the light of your thoughts and the warmth of your hearts, and your
planet becomes healed and whole.
