Session #69 – March 1, 1986
Gloria’s Circle
Present: Eileen Horton, Lamar and RetaMae Bell, Betty Welty, Bonny Wisz, Jean
Chisholm, Peggy Muldoon, Myra Perala, Ida Nevala, Sidney Smither,
Richard and Mary White, Owen and Maxine Cramer.
In honor of Eileen’s broken leg, we met at her house. Greetings to our new member,
Betty Welty from Salem. Sidney led the study session focusing on topics of Circle #68.
Richard led the opening meditation. Communication began following the usual singing.
Judith: Good evening my precious ones. We welcome among our members
those who have been gone.
Owen: We should introduce ourselves all around. Judith, we have a new member
in the group tonight. (Each in turn gave name).
Judith: And as you know, I am Judith. We come once more to speak of the
Garden of Eden and the creation of the earthly existence. You enjoyed an excellent
study session which has prepared you both mentally and emotionally to go forward
in your understanding. We speak tonight of Adam and Eve and the meaning of the
story as given you in your bible. You have been misled for so many centuries. You
have been inculcated with so many guilts over sins that never existed.
As Adam is said to have dwelt alone in the Garden of Eden, Adam represents
the “Life Principle” which is to become various and sundry Qualities, of which you
are the Human Quality expression. In the “deep sleep of Adam” is hidden the
meaning of multi-billions of years of Life Principle existence developing its capacity
to produce. As you have been given before, the River of Life divides itself into four
branches, and this is done three times, giving you the number twelve. As the devas,
at the injunction of the Soul, prepare a place for the Ego to work out the soul’s
Intention, that River of Life divides, producing “Division”, Manifestation”,
“Reflection”, and “Resurrection”. Now this “Resurrection” is not the resurrection
preached by the church. It is the verity that Involution will turn around and become
Evolution. It is by way of Adam’s guaranteeing that its (Adam/Life Principle’s)
efforts will return a profit, so to speak.
Also, you are told that on the seventh day God rested from his labors. This is
the “deep sleep of Adam”. This is a period of time in which outward manifestation
was in preparation. In order for this outward manifestation to become evolutionary,
Adam had to divide itself. And you are told that “Eve” was taken from Adam’s side
during Adam’s deep sleep. This, for centuries, has been a priestly deception
intended to diminish the Quality of the feminine gender. The ancient word which
was so mistranslated, means that a two-leaved door opened.
Thus Adam manifested itself in two major modes – seminal and receptive.
This has nothing to do with sex. There are many sexes. You, in the human condition
are given to two. But there are many things all over the centuries of existence of
your earth planet which have had five and six and eight sexes. There is even now
that in your earth planet which has more than two sexes. So do not allow yourselves
to continue to live under the misguided conception of “Original Sin”.
As Silverthistle is trying to teach, the gonadal centers are to be raised to the
pineal in order for the Sixth Root Race to move onward. Now the injunction said to
be given Adam, that if he ate of the Tree of Life, he would die, is again deception in
its translation. It is that Life Principle, combining with the Creative Process
manifesting through materiality, will lose its sense of eternality. It does not, in fact,
face death, only that manifestation is limited. Now, in your experience, you witness
that limitation in span of time.
Now the “serpent”, which is given such a venial role in the Garden of Eden
story, is merely the Creative Process, which tempts the Life Principle. And in that
story is hidden the reality that you now face of nuclear fission, as the feminine side,
as the unstable proton, is tempted by the Creative Process to separate and go its own
way. Thus you are told that Eve ate of the apple and then tempted Adam. In your
process of nuclear fission, this is what happens.
Now, if you will consider that impregnating sperm is in the shape of a
serpent, it is the Creative Process. It has its head, an organ that pierces, and is
propelled by a long moving tail. The union of the Creative Process with the Life
Principle is violent. It is neither moral nor immoral. It only becomes such an issue as
civilization makes it so. It is not immoral for a bee to carry pollen. It is not immoral
for animals to mate and procreate. It is mankind that has developed morality and
sin as a means of dominance.
You are told that Eve bruises the head of the serpent. And I do believe that
you have previously been told that it is the female ovum that chooses the male sperm
it is to accept. But it demands pursuit and demands to be violently invaded before it
accepts the fertilization. This is due to the Law of Dominance. Violence is a natural
part of your experience. It is only through the understanding of your condition that
you are enabled to command yourselves, work out the Law of Dominance, so that
you direct your power for violence into productive channels. And this includes your
nuclear knowledge.
Now the nakedness of which Adam and Eve are said to become aware is
again visited upon you as shame, when indeed it is an occult means of advising you
that as you move from Spirit to Mind to Soul to Ego to Self, you divest yourself of
the memory of having been in those conditions. And thus you arrive in the earthly
state naked, unknowing. And so you cover yourselves with that which you can
know: “materiality”. Thus you have “fallen from grace”. So you see, there is nothing
to be “saved” from. There is indeed a “redemption”. There indeed is a
“resurrection”, but not from sin, not from being “lost”.
You cannot burn in an “eternal hell” which does not exist. This again is a
deceit visited upon you by those powers which would control. And to know the
difference sets you free. Only through that freedom can you become self-mastered.
Now I shall step out of my pulpit and answer your questions.
LaMar: While they’re thinking about it, I have one that I am extremely interested
in. Taping these sessions, on the ones from seven to eight, we get a totally clear tape.
There is not a bit of music or anything on this. It’s like it had been made in a studio. After
Gloria goes into trance, after the study session, we get a rock-and-roll concert
background on the tape. I’m wondering if you could give us some insight into that
phenomenon. (As the channel goes into trance, I’m sure you are aware of a change in
the atmosphere of the room. You have been told that space is organized. It is always
occupied. As the vibration of this physical unit which we use becomes accelerated,
there is a conductivity set up in order for us to enter. That same conductivity
conducts your noises across your airwaves.) That’s a higher vibration, then? Thank
you. That keeps me from going completely ape trying to figure it out. (It is a purely
physical phenomenon.)
Myra: We don’t have any evil being trying to jam the airwaves, then? (Not at all.
However, you do have devas.)
LaMar: I was going to ask if we could request the devas of this microphone to
please hold down the rock-and-roll station while you are speaking. (Why hold down
when they can turn it off?)
Myra: We must remember to talk with them.
LaMar: The request has been made.
Myra: Ok. Devas. Get with it here, please!
Sidney: Would you please define “grace”? (When I used the word “grace”, I
was being facetious.) (Smiling)
Eileen: I would like to thank the temple teachers for bringing through the
information about my husband, Larry, and his passage, and the rites of passage. I think it
was very interesting to all of us because we’ll all be going through this sometime or
other. I will say that LaMar was kind enough to make a tape of it for me, as I was not
present. I have played it over a number of times, and I’m just full of questions.
You said “Larry needs to bring control over that which he lost control”. And then
later in the session, you stated, “And now the temple doctors go to serve Larry, to be with
him, as you feel the freedom of your bodies celebrate the freedom that Larry now has
from his pain-wracked body, that he can now release it, and it is all right. He moves
toward joy.” My question is: “Does a person whose body has been badly damaged make
the transition into a whole, healthy body, and if so, why were the doctors going to see
Larry?
(No, not necessarily. And this is exactly what we were trying to convey. There
is in certain people, not all, that consciousness which, for one reason or another, is
reluctant to give up the material body which it has known, in order to face a
completely, or so they think, unknown, and thus require the aid of those beings we
call “doctors”. It is not to heal that physical body which has been left behind, but to
heal the consciousness of still retaining that structure. It is as though your body is a
habit, something that you are so used to, that you cannot cast it off at will. Even as
one takes into the transition experience, addiction to cigarettes, alcohol, drugs,
medication, food, sugar, biting one’s fingernails, a habit of any nature. Even positive
habits, go with because they are in the memory bank, not solely associated with the
physical organism. And these must be healed sooner or later.
Myra: So it is a consciousness healing that is happening here? (Yes.)
LaMar: These folks who are addicted to dope and cigarettes, and so forth, then
they have to go through the withdrawal symptoms on the other side? (nodding)
(Although you are now seeing a number, a too large number, of reincarnating
addicts becoming the inhabitants of the fetuses generated by addicts.)
Myra: So parents who are addicts attract people who want to be addicts, or who
are still addicted, then? (Yes.)
Peggy: Does anybody who passes over to the other side go through this tunnel
that we hear so much about? (The Corridor of Transition. It is not precisely a tunnel,
but it is a way to a certain condition. As in your modern technological jargon, there
is a “window” in your sky through which your projectiles must be launched, there is
a “window” in what you call “astral realm” through which a departing entity must
pass. But it is more than a mere “window”. It is a corridor.)
Myra: I was thinking of what you said about persons who have a hard time
giving up their physical bodies. The astronauts who were killed must have had a terrible
time with that. When we did our meditation, I thought of that so many times. Are they
through with that? Are they still in need of our prayer? (They are still in need. Continue
the meditation which we gave you.)
Mary: I would like to go back to the souls who are choosing addicts for mothers.
I guess I’ve always felt that there was a healing when we made that transition, and those
kinds of things we were healed from. Is that only by choice? If we choose to be healed?
(If you choose to be healed, you do so during the Rite of Passage, and it rises out of a
consciousness, awareness.)
LaMar: I heard you say that habits carry over. How about severe illness where a
person is in pain, etc. Does that go with them also? (Yes, indeed. The body does not
become perfected merely by the act of dying. If you are missing limbs, you will
continue to miss those limbs until the consciousness which brought that about is
healed.)
Eileen: And do these doctors help the person to understand this and bring it about?
(Yes.)
Mary: So if we ask for help in healing that help is there? (Yes.)
Sidney: I presume that is true in this condition as well. (The more you can do to
heal yourselves before transition, the greater advantage you will find upon
transition. Were this not so, we would not be bothered with you.)
RetaMae: In studying your lessons, you stated that we should learn and improve
ourselves from all this information you have given us. So it is entirely up to us as
individuals to apply this before this period of transition. (Yes.) Do we have the
opportunity, I should say “possibility”, of knowing in this stage we are in now, if we are
coming back again in another reincarnation? (You have the possibility of doing so.) Do
we lay a foundation in this life now for that? (Your whole life is the foundation of your
future.)
Thank you. I want to thank everyone in the temple. You were so close to us while
LaMar and I were on our trip. We enjoyed having you along with us.
Maxine: I’m asking about healing. If we wish to be healed, can we do this by
asking through prayer, through meditation? (Certainly) Are there other ways besides
prayer and meditation that this can be done? It seems to me that this has to be an
awareness on the part of the individual to want to be healed, and to look for that which is
necessary to heal itself. (There must also be the willingness to accept the conditions
inherent in being whole.)
Peggy: Do affirmations help us in this way? (Oh, yes.)
Myra: Could you say some more about “the conditions of being whole”, please?
Judith: Consider a child going through puberty who yearns to be an adult,
but is not yet aware of what “being an adult” means. He or she is willing to accept
that responsibility or at least to try it. But that urge to become an adult is stronger
than the urge to be whole, as your condition now exists in this planet. But it is a
similar situation in one who occupies a disorganized energy systems pattern. The
eagerness to be whole is probably present, and the thought that one is willing to
accept the responsibility inherent in being whole, but may not be fully aware of
what those responsibilities are. The Source Group and the Higher Self and the
Caretakers, of course, do know. So it is wise to pray more for knowledge and
awareness than for healing. When you are aware of what you are to be responsible
for, and know how to fulfill those responsibilities, then you are more likely to
become whole more easily.
LaMar: Prior to asking the question about this equipment, each time you were
silent and there was total silence in the room, I still had an L.E.D. light working there, so
obviously we are picking up something. Since that time when we asked the devas to turn
it off, I haven’t seen that L.E.D. light flash once. We can actually see what they have
accomplished.
Sidney: There was some question in the early discussion, and some opinions as to
whether or not we currently find ourselves in an “involutionary spiral” or if we are in an
“evolutionary spiral” as we exist now, and the individual’s ability to unilaterally enter an
“evolutionary spiral”. I refer particularly to the quotation from the last session which
says: “In the involutionary spiral of which you find yourself a part, etc.” So my
conclusion was that we are in an “involutionary spiral”, and I think that my personal
objective opinion was that individuals can step beyond into evolution themselves. But I
would like clarification, please.
Judith: You are both in the “involutionary” and the “evolutionary” spiral, as
you call it. The “you” was used as the Realm of Self, rather than personality. You,
as individuals, in this room are all evolutionary.
Myra: So the “you” is mankind as a whole? (The Realm of Self is both
involutionary and evolutionary simultaneously at this point in time.)
LaMar: If we have reached the bottom and are on the way back up in the
evolutionary spiral, what implications does that hold for our coming back, our
reincarnation? (Reincarnation is of the evolutionary spiral, not the involutionary.)
Sidney: Does that then mean that the devas are involutionary? (Yes. That is why
you can command them, but it is better if you can gain their cooperation through
love than by exercising dominance.)
Myra: We dominate ourselves, but we love them? (For instance, your vehicles –
you know the mechanics of driving your vehicle. You know there are certain things
you can do to demand certain performance from it. But if you make a friend of the
auto’s deva, it will cooperate with you. It will not breakdown. It will not have flat
tires. It will not run out of gas, etc. The deva will make you aware of needs before
the need causes you to have a breakdown.
Owen: I don’t follow the reasoning that the devas are involutionary. Could you
expand on that? (It takes Ego to be evolutionary.)
Sidney: And the devas do not reincarnate? (They merely repeat process.)
Myra: When you say “ego”, you’re not referring to the Realm of Ego?
(Individuated ego. Actually, devas pass through the Realm of Ego without dwelling
therein. They bypass that condition. They are Soul properties.)
Jean: I’m still having trouble with what it means to be “ensouled”. My
understanding is that the Soul gives Purpose, and so my understanding is that when
something has a purpose, it is ensouled. But I can’t quite get a complete understanding of
it. (Think less in terms of Purpose and more in terms of Intention.) And what is the
difference between them? (Intention is open-ended. Purpose has more clear
definition.) And it would reach a goal? (Yes.) And the Intention would be more ongoing?
(The Intention of the Soul Realm continues through involution even as that point is
reached by certain Creative Process to enter the evolutionary cycle.) Are you saying
then that the Soul (balance of question missed due to tape change.) (Through its
Intention, manifest in the material realm you call “Self”. Self is that turning point.
Resurrection is the accomplishment of that turning point when you are no longer
becoming more inert.)
Sidney: Speaking of the “turning point” when we begin our evolutionary trek
upwards, I’d like to quote a sentence from the last session. It says: “And as was cited in
your last lesson, the calcium becomes a part of plant life, and plant life becomes a part of
animal life, and animal life becomes a part of human life, and human life becomes a part
of, for lack of a better language, spirit life, and up the evolutionary spiral.” Well, the part
that I would like greater clarification on, even though we don’t have language for it, is the
human life that becomes part of “spirit Life”. Could you elaborate on that please? (Those
lessons are coming.)
Myra: You were telling about the four things, Division, Manifestation,
Reflection, and Resurrection”. What do these four refer to? (“Division” is that of which
we spoke when Adam became two sides of his own nature, the masculine and the
feminine, of which you are aware – the yin and the yang – whatever kind of
language you wish to use. But the River of Life has brought forward that possibility
of division. Without division, there could be no Ego Realm. There could be no
Realm of Self.) So that took place in the Realm of Soul? (In the Realm of Mind.) Those
four things are symbolically related by the four branches of the River of Life. (They are
symbolical in that they are related as branches of the River of Life. They are, as a
matter of fact, quite real.) And “Manifestation” refers to things materially appearing?
(The aggregation of ERTs, which in Consciousness can turn from Involution to
Evolution, thus making “resurrection” possible.) And how does “Reflection” fit into
that? (That it remains true to its Original Cause.)
Sidney: I spent a couple of hours at the library researching books on the Hindu
religion, and nowhere could I find reference to a Hindu Tree of Life. (You did not find
reference to the Ashvatu from which the Druids drew the conclusion that the ash
tree was sacred? That is a Sanskrit word meaning “The Tree of Life” of which we
spoke.)
Bonnie: We were talking earlier about nuclear fission. I had just a brief dream this
week. I was in a large plaza filled with people, and someone walked in carrying a nuclear
bomb and ignited it. It was like smoky fire that just enveloped the whole area. It was just
awful. I can’t seem to interpret it. (You were tapping into the horror mankind is
creating with its knowledge, and that is what you, in groups like this, must turn
around.)
Maxine: That’s a big order, to know how to turn it around. (We have given that as
you participate in this study, as you direct your study to the principles we offer, as
you strive to take mastery over yourselves and abandon dominance over others, you
are moving all of mankind’s consciousness into the Aquarian Age. The
responsibility is yours whether you want it or not. But there are only few in
relationship to all who are in awareness attempting to shoulder that responsibility.)
Bonnie: When I was asking, I pointed my hand or moved it towards you, and you
seemed to react to that. (You touched me.) (Bonnie was about 12 feet away from Judith.)
Could you tell us what happened there? (As the consciousness of this physical
organism dims and turns away, the subtle bodies expand and their vibration
accelerates in order for me to arrive. Thus the subtle bodies of the channel
incorporate now all of you. As you moved your hand, you touched the Desire Body
which is next to the physical and caused a physical response.)
Eileen: Is this disturbing to the channel in any way? (Occasionally it has been in
the past. Inasmuch as this group has met for so long, the channel feels safe, and thus
the animal organism does not send the danger signals that return to consciousness.)
LaMar: With what you just said about encompassing all of us, I normally make no
more movement here than I absolutely have to but at the beginning when I was moving
the mike closer, did I create any problems? (None that we were not able to supervene.)
Myra: You mentioned a while back that before the next open meeting we would
have another teacher. Will that be this night or next time? (Your visitor was planned for
last time, but due to disturbing elements in the channel’s day, that was not possible.
The channel was instructed to cover the head, and did so ineffectively.) (The scarf
Gloria had placed on her head had slipped off.) Your guest will not arrive.)
Maxine: Can you tell what would help to cover the head properly? (There must be
a firm covering for all of the head.)
Sidney: You mean the top of the head? (All of the head except the face.) (Group
comments suggesting a heavier material.)
Myra: Could you explain why? (In the human animal organism, the head is of
utmost importance. As your physical evolution has transpired, the bony structure of
the skull has become quite thin. In this particular organism there is a lack of
calcium which stems from karmic sources and persisted for the entire lifetime. In
order to withstand the crushing vibrations of the high elevation of the visitor, the
head must be covered to protect it from you.)
Maxine: Would a knitted cap be firm enough? (Any woven cloth would serve
provided it is sufficiently opaque.
Sidney: Up to this point, subjectively, my belief is that Karansa is the highest
elevation personage that has spoken with us, and I also understand that beyond Karansa
there are what are called the “Wise Ones” that advise the temple. Are we possibly to be
addressed by one of the “Wise Ones” or someone who is an intermediary between
Karansa and the “Wise Ones”, or can you elaborate on that? (You are to be addressed
by a Soul entity who has not taken an Ego.) So that would be a being that has never
manifested physically? (Yes.)
RetaMae: Is there something we should do to help the channel? (If the channel
follows instructions, all should be well. We, of course, shall be present and
protective as will all of your Sources.)
LaMar: Does what you said regarding the structure of the head and its importance
have anything to do with the fact that the Jews wear a little beanie on top of their head?
(Many cultures are aware of this fragility and the necessity to cover it. They do not
necessarily understand the roots of that belief.)
Myra: Is that why St. Paul said that women’s heads should be covered? (No.
That was not drawn from this reason. That was another churchly manifestation of
subjugating women.)
Maxine: But was it a help that they had their heads covered? (Inadvertently, the
church has assisted you in many ways.)
Owen: Is there any more reason for women to have their heads covered than
men? (None at all. All of you would benefit by covering your heads in circle.)
Myra: That would help us other than the channel? (Correct)
Sidney: On behalf of Gloria, could I also ask if it would be helpful to her to take
liquid calcium, and is she aware of her calcium deficiency. (She is aware, and she does
take supplements. She is also working upon the karmic cause.)
Maxine: I have also another question about wearing a covering over the head.
When is it advisable to wear a covering over the head? We do it now in cold weather or
in very sunny weather, but what are the reasons that we should cover our heads? (You
would find your lives would be enhanced if you covered your heads at any time you
leave the privacy of your home. We have not brought this forward previously
because we did not want to create a situation in which it would appear that a cult is
being developed. We do not wish you to conform to each other’s tastes, nor to
provide a uniform.)
Myra: I was reading in my notes about what you mentioned about Adam. And
you mentioned that Adam manifested in two major modes, the seminal and the receptive.
You mentioned what that didn’t have to do with, but you didn’t tell us what it does have
to do with. (It has to do with the Creative Process. If you will recall, I also said
“manifestation of the material realm could not have come into being without that
division.”)
Owen: One more question about the Soul entity whom we expect to visit. Is this
entity a member of the temple faculty or related directly to the temple? (Of course there
is a connection, or the situation would not have been agreed upon. However,
remember, we said the communicator would be Soul entity without Ego. All of the
Wise Ones are still in the Realm of Ego.)
LaMar: Is this situation of the Ego something of a normal situation? Something
there is a lot of?
Judith: This is quite normal, as you say. There are many Soul entities
awaiting the development of the Realm of Self to that stage of evolution wherein
they can begin their work. Then they will create those egos which will take this
materiality into the spirituality.
Inasmuch as your visitor is not to make an appearance, let us draw this to a
conclusion with our meditation. Make your bodies comfortable. Allow your
breathing to be regular, normal, and comfortable.
I invite you on a trip of imagination to join me in the Garden of Eden.
Visualize it in any way that you wish, as it can only be visualized in accordance with
your belief system. See yourself standing in a beautifully landscaped area,
landscaped by the very spirit of God. The magnificent trees soar above your heads.
The flowers and the shrubs offer their blossoms and their scent for your enjoyment.
The bees happily buzz from blossom to blossom. The birds sing their songs.
Thus the sun shines and the night creatures sleep as the day creatures sun
themselves. Now, although you are primarily day creatures, in this visualization,
you are creatures who are awake both day and night. So allow the sunlight to fade
and the darkness of night to envelope you in a radiant warmth. As the day creatures
go to sleep, the night creatures awaken to enjoy the sounds and the smells and the
light of night.
Then, again, the light returns. The night creatures sleep, and the day
creatures waken. In both conditions of day and night, you are awake, alert, and
aware and enjoying it. Allow these days and nights to revolve around you for a
moment. Be aware that you are without fear, without shame, without sorrow,
without pain. You are whole and perfect as an original creation. Your environment
is completely friendly.
Now, in one of your daytime periods, decide on something you would change
in your life that you wish to explore. Find yourself in a place in the garden to settle
down, either to sit or lie, whatever posture is comfortable for you. In your mind
begin your exploration as you allow the night to envelope you. As the sunlight fades
and the night envelopes you, become aware of the sense of freedom that the
darkness permits you. This darkness is the recess of your innermost mind, and thus
can bring to you the results of your exploration. Knowing that you are protected
and cared for and loved, allow the night to bring you whatever it will.
When you are ready, allow the sun again to lighten your environment. Bring
into the sunlight the knowledge of the night, the experience of the night, the
emotions and the feelings. Nearby you will find a pond of crystal clear water in
which you may bathe. You may wish away any fears which remain. You may
cleanse any of the thoughts which may have arisen in your exploration. You can
heal any wounded emotion. Allow yourself the luxury of baptism in the pond.
And when you are through with your self-baptism, allow yourselves to dry in
the warm air, and invite your loved ones to join you for their own self-baptism, if
they so wish. Now the temple people join you, and all together, you enjoy the peace,
the tranquility, the perfection, and the sharing.
Now we bless those loved ones who have come, and everyone is released to
return to his or her own consciousness in this daily world in which you must
function. Bring back to this daily consciousness your experience, your feelings, your
healings, and your sense of being cleansed.
Now as we part once again, I bid you “Beloved, go in peace.” You may
conclude with your song.
