SESSION #2, AUGUST 7, 1982
Gloria’s Circle
Present: Richard and Mary White, Ida Nevala, Myra Perala, Sheila Boone,
Eileen and Larry Horton, Mary Silveira
After group singing with intermittent periods of silence, while Gloria released herself to
become an instrument for instruction, a “presence” joined us. Gloria’s face became
visibly changed as she relaxed. It appeared more square and less feminine. Her
cheekbones were more pronounced and her jawbones squared under her ears.
A deep masculine and very labored voice: Good Evening.
Group: Good evening. Welcome.
Voice: It is very good to be here again so soon.
Mary S: Did you like our music?
Voice: Yes, very much.
Mary S: How else can we help you?
Voice: (labored and indistinguishable) Talk to each other awhile, as I can be in
stronger control.
Audience: We find it very interesting to be here.
Voice: You have drawn some interesting people here tonight. If I can get stronger, I
shall try to bring some of them through. If not, we shall have to try something else.
(By this time the audience had identified the voice as being that of Silverthistle, an entity
that had visited at the first session the previous month which was not recorded as no one
at the time thought there would be another gathering for this purpose.)
Mary S: What have you been doing since we talked last with you?
Silverthistle: I have many duties besides this one. At this time this is my only
channel available, and she is not always available. I am involved in some teaching.
There was a question tonight about conditions on my side of the veil. There are
groups of people who gather to study rather like your study groups.
Audience: Is it more difficult there where you are?
S/T: Difficult for what?
Audience: Studying together?
S/T: No, because we have more freedom. We are not limited by time as you are
although we are subject to time in a way. But we can come together at anytime
because we can create our own space. We simply think about who we wish to be
with and what we wish to do in their company. And if they are available, and desire
the same thing, it can be created. If the other one is not available, that is also
communicated, and something else can be arranged.
Sheila: Were you tuned in on our discussion before the channel was open.
S/T: Yes, I was here. I’m here and I will remain here for a while.
Mary S: Can you tell me what years you were in South America – in the 1800’s?
S/T: Much before that.
Mary S. Were you in Atlantis?
S/T:I cannot tell you that. As I explained before we also have memory
limitations.
Mary S: You can’t look at your akashic records?
S/T:If I were talented in that degree, yes I could, but at this particular
time, I am doing other things.
Mary S: Can you have someone else look at the akashic records for you?
S/T: I would have to set that up. I could not do it right at this moment.
Mary S: I have a very strong feeling that you were on Atlantis also.
S/T: I shall try to explain something to you. In a situation in my present
condition, I was exploring altered states of consciousness, similar to what you in the
physical attempt and during such a period of experience, I seem to understand that
I was involved in astrology. Since I have come into contact with Gloria, I find that
we share certain memories which would seem to be connected with Atlantis. I am
sure that I have worked with many of the occult sciences, but I do not remember
anything in actual fact except my experiences as a trainee in a temple, in what you
call South America. I was brought as a very small boy in the physical realm to the
temple, and then I was taught many of the things I now use to teach on this side.
Much of what I learned there, I cannot communicate to you because you do not have
the experience with which to understand.
My purpose in being here with you is to protect the door of the
channel and to act as an intermediary in this realm to the best of my ability. Because
I am not limited to the physical, I do have access to certain facts that you do not
have in your ready consciousness.
Mary S: Thank you. You have answered my question.
Eileen: Do you have any information that you’d like to impart to anyone present?
S/T: As I said, I come as intermediary. If you have any specific requests, I
shall be happy to honor them to whatever extent if I am capable. (long pause)
Mary S: I’d like to contact my mother. Is that possible?
S/T:If you will give me a name, I will put it into the exchange.
Mary S: Her name is Rose Pittman.
S/T:(after a long pause)I’m sorry, there is no response.
(Ed.: It’s as if he’s using a ham radio.)
Mary S: Thank you.
S/T: As nearly as I can use a corollary for you in your physical
circumstances, it would be like a telephone company “switching center” where calls
are directed to a specific destination with the freedom of a broadcast sort of mode.
Eileen: When you got no answer, what would that indicate?
S/T:It would indicate any number of things. For instance, she could be
about her own business which would not bring her close to this area of
consciousness at this moment. It could mean that she has chosen to go back into
physical. It could mean that her supervisors are keeping her someplace for her own
good.
Richard: Silverthistle, do you have enough energy that some of those with you
could communicate with us?
S/T: If we have just a little more time. We are getting stronger.
Eileen: Among these people that are with you, are there any who know anyone in
this group?
S/T: I do not necessarily know that. Of course, there is some reason why
they are here. They are drawn by your energies. There is one person who is very
insistent, and keeps passing the sound of “k”.
Richard: Is that a problem for you if you are still not ready?
S/T: I’m not sure that I can pass their meaning through, but I shall try.
Unidentified voice: Did you say someone is saying the letter or sound of “k”?
S/T: Yes, the letter or sound of “k”.
Mary S: That’s what my mother called me.
S/T: That person is very insistent. “k” “k” “k”
Mary S: Can the person identify?
S/T: The image that is being shown is that of a child’s chair with a bamboo
seat and there is a little girl sitting in the chair holding a doll, and the doll has a
yellow dress with a flower embroidered on it. And the doll’s name is “Becky”. Does
anyone recognize that?
Sheila: Could the child be Kathy or Katie?
S/T: Yes, the answer is “yes”. Also a “Vickie” person here.
Sheila: Does she have a message or symbology to send us?
S/T: A grape arbor. Vicky in a grape arbor… There is too much clamor
here. There must be some order here.
Audience voice: (referring to noise outside the room) Shall we close the doors?
S/T: No.
Myra: Do you need a gavel?
S/T: That would certainly help. (humorously)
Richard: (facetiously) Pick a number.
Eileen: Is the clamor so they can get through?
S/T: Yes. As soon as I accepted the person saying the letter of sound of “k”,
everyone wanted in on the net.
Mary S: Is there anyone there with the name of Margaret Caine?
Myra: Or Peggy Pelham?
S/T: (after a pause) Apparently not.
Audience voice: Are they all women?
S/T:No. There is a young man who came roaring in on a motorcycle.
(giggles in the group) I think I’m going to send him back.
Audience voice: Maybe it’s the 18-year-old you looked for last week.
Mary S: How can he come roaring in like in the physical if you don’t hear sounds
like we do?
S/T: Our realm is just as physical as yours.
Mary S: Like vibrations?
S/T: Yes. We can duplicate anything you have and more.
Myra: Do you have musical instruments?
Mary S: Do you learn music in the temple?
(The temple is a designation given at the first meeting the previous month.)
S/T: Yes, I played a reed instrument.
Mary S: That has a very high vibration, doesn’t it?
S/T: Yes, it does. It is higher than a flute or piccolo, but it resembles a
piccolo, having a mouthpiece instead of a hole like a flute.
Mary W: You spoke of your learning in the temple, and learning things that we are
not aware of, and I was wondering if people in this realm are still learning those
teachings which you learned when you were in the temple.
S/T:In a few places this is happening. Unfortunately, many of the temples
have fallen away because of the degradation of humankind. With the assumption of
power, things begin to change. People fail to keep their initiation vows, and thus are
fallen. There is an excellent book available to you now called “Initiation” by
Elisabeth Haich.
Audience voice: Did you go through this initiation?
S/T: A similar one. Each initiation has a purpose. We go through many
initiations. The one that I remember was to initiate me into the work that I am now
doing. I regret that I am not as well informed as I might be able, but I am only
learning the work I do. I will grow as will my instrument as we work together. And I
will grow in teaching my classes myself. Growing is the process of life and will not
be denied, even when it is repressed. Even if you did not study, nor attempt to
contemplate, what you might consider the lowest of the low in your realm, is still in
the process of growing, and is moving toward the ultimate in being.
Mary W: Is that the aspiration of each soul?
S/T: Yes.
Mary W.: When you say being, do you mean God?
S/T: That is one label.
Audience voice: Do souls reincarnate into this plane?
S/T: Yes, if you are asking is reincarnation a fact of life, it is. But the
conditions of reincarnation are not necessarily what you believe them to be.
Audience voice: How are they different? What would be the conditions that are
different?
S/T: People with physical and finite minds tend to generalize almost
everything, ignoring the fact that each physical body is completely unique.
Nevertheless, you fail to realize that the lifestream is unique and individualized.
Your birth and death are also unique. Thus reincarnation is as unique as the
individual life. There are some lives that are regular; that is to say that one of my
understanding may incarnate only once, but as Buddha or Jesus. Some people
believe that Jesus is the incarnation of some of his forebears. That is not so. And
there are life cycles that never get very far away from the planet Earth, before
reincarnation is experienced many, many times. But the reincarnation idea that the
ego is reincarnated is totally false. There is a continuation of the personality for a
while after death. And there is another person’s death within the cycle.
For instance, I can remember a recent incarnation, not recent in your
terms, but after I left my last physical body, I was able to remember that life. And I
continued as that person for a while, and then that personality and ego died. Then I
was reborn as I am now, but with that memory intact. But that only encompasses a
small part of what I have been.
You are not in the physical all that you have been in the past. You are
only a portion. You are only one small facet of the Soul of which you are a part.
There will be other incarnates at any given time that also evolve from your Soul-
Body. What you call Soul is actually a Higher-Self of that Ego which you are at the
present time. YOU DO NOT HAVE A SOUL, A SOUL HAS YOU. (chuckles from
the group, great emphasis from S/T.)
Consequently, from time to time, you will meet with people to whom
you are instantly drawn, and there is that immediate rapport. It is the common
thought or belief, or your current understanding, that it may be someone with
whom you have karmic ties. This may be true, but very likely that individual may
come from the same Soul-Body as you come from. Thus we have a family
community. It would be like children reared in separate families who are actually
siblings, and when they meet as adults, they recognized each other. Do you
understand?
Sheila: That is beautifully explained. Thank you.
Richard: Siblings may not necessarily be in the same generation? One age may be
significantly different from another?
S/T: If you are thinking of the soul relationship, yes.
Richard: A person of the same Soul as I am may be much younger than I am now?
S/T: That is true. You see, it is a constant thought that the Soul is an entity.
The Soul, as body and intellect and emotion – that is the macrocosm – and you are
the microcosm. As your body produces cells, the cells in your body are not all the
same age at any given time, so not all the people of a Soul-Body will be at the same
age, intellect, or understanding. Like the cells in your body, the consciousness causes
one to be a liver cell or a toenail cell. So each of you has the consciousness that says
you are what you are, so that you are in accordance with divine plan.
The Soul entity which gave birth to you is itself part of another
hierarchy where it is in itself a cell, and carrying forward the analogy, it would be as
the Soul-Body is the cell and the physical manifestations which you are, might be an
electron in an atom of that cell.
Mary S: Would you explain the term “soul-mate”?
S/T: In one belief system in the current study of metaphysics, it is believed
that for every male cell manifestation there is a female cell manifestation, the two of
which make one androgynous being. That in my understanding is not necessarily so.
The term “soul-mate” (applies) to one who comes from the same Soul-Body as you
do and is nearest in consciousness to you. This soul-mate could be of the same
gender.
Richard: In a book I recently read called Messages From Michael, people on the
other side refer to personality as “over-leaves”.
S/T: I am not familiar with that terminology.
Myra: Silverthistle, if I asked you to describe one of my previous incarnations,
could you do that?
S/T: I can only call upon someone else. If that is your desire, I will try to
find such a person.
Myra: OK. I’d like that. (pause)
New Voice: Good evening. This is Karansa.
Group: Greetings. It is nice to hear you again.
K: It is my pleasure to come. I had not planned to be here this evening,
but I have been called and it is convenient for me to be here. How can I serve you?
Myra: I would like to know if you could describe one of my previous
incarnations?
K: As I told you the other evening, and those of you who were here at
that time, you called me to you because you were all of my temple. You were a child
in my temple. You have been through a portion of your initiation. Do you have a
particular question that you wish answered? If I were to continue discussing your
initiation, it would reveal things best left unrevealed except privately.
Myra: Then how would I go about finding out privately?
K: I would not be able to tell you all of it in any event. If you have any
particular question that will clarify what you are working on now, I should be
happy to try to help you.
Myra: I find that I am very easily distracted and I find that it is very hard for me
to discipline myself. I have used the affirmations that you told me to use last time and
found that to be very helpful, but I feel discouraged because I do not do it as much as I
want to. What could I do to take myself in hand?
K: You have just answered your own question. An initiate is a product of
many such trials. As a child of the temple you are put into these circumstances to
help you overcome these very problems. Self-discipline and self-control are very
important areas for you to work on. These deserve to be the focus of your
contemplation. The circumstances of your life have been designed for you to learn
this very thing. And it is only YOU who can do anything about it. When you have
learned to focus the energy of self-control and self-discipline, you will have passed
that part of your initiation. And then you will be given new circumstances over
which to wield self-control. Does that answer your question?
Myra: Yes, it does. Thank you very much.
K: You are most welcome. Now I shall retire. Blessings upon your efforts.

S/T: And now I am back.
Myra: Thank you, Silverthistle.
S/T: You are most welcome. I feel the dimming of the instrument, and I
think that it would be best to conclude this sitting. It has been quite a long day for
my Gloria. My blessings to all of you. Be of good cheer. Your loved ones are with
you in certain ways, perhaps not the way you would wish them to be. Have patience
and with proper thoughts, your loved ones will let you know where they are and
what they are doing, so that you will be at peace within yourself about them. And
now I bid you peace and goodnight, and God bless.

Gloria revives and looks like herself again. The group lengthily discussed various aspects
of the communications.
